After about 2 or 3 months post being fixed, the paint cracked. I then took it back for a second time for the cracked paint to be fixed. Once I picked it up the second time, the fixed area of paint was raised / had a bubble almost under the paint. Keep in mind this is a very small area on the side of my car that was done wrongly not once, but twice. After the second time, I called and spoke to the manager. He denied any issue with the quality of work that was given and requested photos to show the issue. He failed to contact me back and I went through my insurance regarding the issues with Woods. They have since been taken off Nation Wides list of shops they work through. I will include photos to show the lack of quality. Lastly, there is a complete lack of professionalism in there front office and with management.

The main issues were quality of work and customer service. Quality of Work: Several items from my insurance claim were missed during the initial repair, and even after the repairs were done in stages, I experienced recurring issues (e.g., electronics malfunctioning) only after driving the car off the lot. Customer Service: Communication was poor, with a lack of clarity on timing expectations for a replacement for a faulty part included in the original fix. Despite the shop eventually accommodating me once the part arrived (something I only learned by calling them myself), I faced further frustration when issues continued after the repair, when I drove off the lot. When I suggested they test cars in motion to avoid rework, I was dismissed as not being an "expert" and told to sit and wait, which I did for an additional hour, while this new issue was being fixed. Additionally, my car was always returned dirtier than when I dropped it off. In short, if you're considering Wood's Collision, proceed with caution. Document everything and be prepared for poor communication and potential rework. I could have just had bad luck, but felt the need to share my experience with others.

High marks for Schmoe's in regards to price, speed of service, and the quality of my car's repair…read more My car was in-and-out in about a half a day for a non-critical minor repair, that was more of an annoyance than anything. Getting my car in to get service was more of a challenge than I would have liked. Schmoe's was recommended to me by another shop. I initially tried to get the repair done in early March and was told to bring my car in for them to take a look. I brought it in and was told that they would have to keep it, possibly for a few days. At the time, this wasn't an option for me, so I deferred and decided to shop around. Other places offered to do my repair more expeditiously, but at a pretty high cost. After a few months, and realizing the prices elsewhere would be higher than I'd like them to be, I came back around to Schmoe's. I finally was able to drop the car off for a few days, so I called to schedule an appointment. I was then told that they would need more information about my vehicle to even get an estimate, and that I would have to bring it in and leave it there for a few days. I relented, and asked what they actually needed to know to get the estimate. With that knowledge, some pictures of my car, and some diagrams I found online, I was able to get an estimate and was happy to find it $100 less than the most affordable one I had received. Happy with the affordability, I asked to bring the car in. I was then informed that they didn't have any appointments available for a few weeks. I confirmed that it was an acceptable time frame for me and scheduled the appointment. When I showed up, they knew nothing about it, but they were familiar with the person who had made my appointment and told me he was on vacation... I informed them as to what needed to be done and they agreed to take a look at it, as long as I could leave it there for a few days, if necessary. I guess that's a reoccurring theme with Schmoe's. They called me back a few hours later and said it was fixed. The final price saved me hundreds of dollars, so I can't complain. I suppose that if you are familiar with their modus operandi you'll probably be a lifelong fan of these guys, but if you're not, I would suggest packing your patience.

My vehicle has only 19,000 miles and is in perfect condition. I argued with the insurance company to no avail, but Charlie at M&G was able to get all new parts for my vehicle. I am very grateful for his persistence. Charlie is very particular about the work that is done in his shop. My car looks brand new and everything is working perfectly. A friend of mine whose hobby is specialty and classic cars was also impressed with the job M&G did. Melissa was awesome at handling all paper work State Farm required and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend M&G Auto Body. Melissa arranged for Enterprise to pick me up and take me to the rental location when the tow truck dropped me and my car off for repair. I also dropped the rental at M&G when the work was completed and Enterprise retrieved it from M&G. I don't know if other shops have that arrangement, but it certainly was helpful for me. It was a four-car collision caused by a driver who swerved to exit the freeway in front of us. The car behind me was tailgating, which left me and the car in front of me sandwiched with nowhere to swerve--there was construction and bottlenecked traffic in the left lane and a cement wall on the right. Both the driver who caused the accident and the one behind me sped away. I was shaken, scared, and overwhelmed, unsure of what to do. To make matters worse, I was close to paying off my car. I've always been a careful driver, and the chaos on the roads today is infuriating. Careless, thoughtless drivers who don't maintain safe distances and weave in and out like daredevils make driving incredibly frustrating. The patrol officer called a company to tow my car. When I contacted M & G Body to tow my truck to their lot and assess the damage, they arrived at the impound lot bright and early. The M & G tow driver was friendly, helpful, and quick. Linda and Melissa from M & G promptly provided cost-saving guidance and outlined my next steps to expedite the process. Charlie assessed my car and recommended getting a new one, as the repair costs exceeded the car's value. Throughout the entire process, I felt cared for, heard, and guided on how to move forward after the wreck. Their customer service was impeccable. Charlie offered valuable insight into my options, including selling the car to a junkyard or to someone interested in the parts or the whole vehicle. I will absolutely reach out to them for any future inquiries. M & G Body turned a traumatic situation into a more manageable experience through their motivation, professionalism, and expertise. I have had body work done on several cars here over the last few years, and had nothing but great service and fantastic results at a very reasonable price! Most recently, I had a couple spots repaired (a fender scraped against the garage door, and a dented/scratched passenger side door) on my beloved "Blue Magnetism"-colored Prius Prime. I was really worried that the paint could not be matched well, since it is kind of an unusual color. But American Auto Body knocked it out of the park! They even washed and buffed the whole car, so it was super clean and sparkly when I picked it up. It looks absolutely perfect. Couldn't be happier!
