The estimate included 46.4 hours labor, some of which was disassembly. 30 days later all of the parts were in. Another month and "all of the repairs are completed and car going to paint." The estimate included 16 hours of paint labor. I repeatedly asked about status of car and was told it was being taken care of. Manager was not at all helpful in providing time frame. 15 days later it was finally ready!!! (16 hours paint labor) When I went to pick it up, there were some areas that had not been adequately buffed. I was told to come back in 2 weeks. Manager was not at all accommodating, though I had arrived prior to the agreed upon time. "You will need to leave vehicle for a half day" - even though this should have been done with repairs. Additionally, the vehicle was riding rough and I received notice that replaced tire was very low. That new tire was extremely low and the other 3 tires had more than 50PSI! The new tire had an incorrect valve stem placed. If I could I would leave negative number review. When the business was Jerry Ernst, it was excellent. This company is ruining the reputation.

The amount of work that needed to be done was extensive and I was completely out of my element with what to do. I'm so glad I came to Center City. I don't want anyone to miss these key points I experienced so if you only read a little know this: Center City Collision has: Great Customer Service, Commitment to Quality and Safety, Excellent Communication. And here's why: Great Customer Service: I closed on a house the day my car was supposed to be ready and Chris told me not to worry and to just reach out to him when I was ready; that impressed me. The day I picked up the car, I called ahead and asked if they could check the gas tank (I seriously had just filled it up before the accident and after buying the house and paying for the car, I was a little budget conscious, lol). The receptionist (I can't remember her name but I know she's getting married so I want to give her a shout out ; )) gladly checked the gas level for me. Randy helped me get me situated in the car when I picked it up and encouraged me to contact with ANY questions or concerns. They also covered the rental car costs after my insurance coverage was up. Commitment to Quality and Safety: What impressed me the most was that they truly stood by their words that safety and quality were the most important considerations. There was a sensor that they could not reset without special equipment. They partnered with another shop, which spent $1K to update software, to be able to reset the airbag sensor. When that didn't work, they worked directly with the Subaru dealership to have the problem fixed. Excellent Communication: Due to the amount of work that needed to be done (basically had the front end of my car rebuilt), it took several weeks for the repairs to be completed. Chris contacted me consistently to give me updates and explain what was going on with the car. That sent my mind at ease. After the accident, the communication with the tow company and my insurance were not at all proactive. This was not at all the case with Center City. They made what was a pretty traumatic experience have a positive ending.
