Great customer service, wide selection of outdoor items and sporting goods, yummy cafe, Ferris wheel ride for kids, large fish tanks to look at, fun playground for kids and so much more! This is a one stop shop to get anything you need for camping, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, biking, etc. We value the way they keep the store so well maintained, organized and have clean bathrooms. Thanks scheels!

The store was clean and orderly. They have a wide variety of sports team apparel. Also, a plethora of firearms, ammo, holsters, etc, for hunters and Law Enforcement Officers alike. They also have an abundance of gym workout gear. There is so much more too much to mention. This is a great place for locals.

I remembered when you opened in September of 2008. Can you believe it has been 16+ years already?!?! We were all impressed with your location, but at the time, I felt the service and/or prices were not a good fit for me. But it was a great place for me to "window shop" while my wife did all the real shopping in the mall. Quality/Quantity - We are loyal seasonal customers. Good selection at regular priced items. If lucky, we buy at the end of the season, or last year's season sale items. Many departments to choose from with a focus on sporting goods. Bought some ski boots, skis, ski wear. etc. Atmosphere - They are employee owned, COOP. The culture and atmosphere seemed very positive. Service - They had a GREAT customer service program! I was so impressed. They offered bike repairs, skate sharpening, racquet stringing, ski and snowboard waxing, etc. There were two 16,000 gallon aquariums and a 65-foot Ferris wheel inside the store for customers to ride. Ginna's Café™. Cut and pasted: "Every product purchased at SCHEELS is guaranteed satisfaction or your money back. You don't take chances at SCHEELS." Price - Normal prices, it would probably be cheaper if you bought elsewhere. But for the service and selection, it is worth the prices. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on all your successes since 1902 with 34 locations and a 123 year old company! 2008 - Sparks location holds the world record of largest sports store, 295k square feet. 2020 - New world record of largest sports store 331k square feet. 2024 - Congrats to the great, great grandson of the founder finally retiring in 2024.

A huge two level sporting goods store with a indoor Ferris wheel. It's a $1.00 a ride. Also an indoor cafe. There are two opposing entrances. Like anywhere else you should know your prices. Hubby likes the fishing section. I just like to wander through the clothing apparel and the home goods area. Great friendly staff. Everyone gives you a greeting and asks if you need assistance. This is a definite stop when in the Reno area. Located at the Legends shopping outlets.

A good comparison would be a pro bass shop- filled with nearly any gear you need for: kayaking, fishing, hunting, swimming, and camping! All contained just outside of an big shopping outlet next to a beautiful lake park. It was a nice walk around the lake (which I heard was man made) to get to the outlet. It was bustling and though we walked there, thier parking lot was huge and can account for many cars. Plus points for having those real arcade shooting target games in the hunting section! Very fitting and fun for the kids and us! Though we aren't outdoorsy people by any means, it was still cool to look around and the large displays of taxidermy and the huge center ferris wheel. A very impressive store overall, would come again if I ever find myself in the area. Stop by, you can look and gander all you'd like, and even find a neat thing or two, especially if you need gear for any outdoor occasion!

We visited during Thanksgiving break. The whole shopping center was very crowded so it was hard to find a parking spot. The store itself was huge with ferris wheel inside! There was outdoor equipment, clothing, kids toys, home decor, and lots of other things. There was a play area for the kids on the first floor and shooting game on the second floor. It was fun to browse around.

This is such a fun outdoor shop to visit. There is everything you need for sports, outdoor activities, clothing, furniture, and more here. Aside from the typical store, there is also a Ferris wheel ($1 per ride), a mini café with amazing roasted nuts, an aquarium located by both entrances, a mini bowling alley, a shooting game area, and a candy shop. All the activities they offered were also extremely affordable. You can definitely spend a couple of hours just browsing around and doing the different activities they have to offer. All the staff were super friendly and helpful too! The bathroom was also surprisingly clean.

I needed to make a last minute trip to pickup some performance underwear before I went out of town. There was a large selection to choose from. I was able to quickly find what I needed. I also had to pick up a new Meat Church seasoning, I can't wait to try it!

We had the best shopping experience at Scheels on Sunday. My husband and I were shopping for Golf shoes and Austin really went out of his way to take care of us. It was a busy day too. I always appreciate good customer service!! As far as the value and selection. Golf shoes can be pricey, but there was a nice selection. I didn't get my first choice since my size wasn't available, but ended up getting even better ones. In the end, I can say I love, love, love my new Golf shoes.

This store is huge and you can about everything you are looking for and more. Customer service is great here. There are so many associates that are willing to assist. Pet friendly too so that's always a plus.

Had a great time visiting scheels. My daughter is two and loves fish. She was obsessed with the aquarium. We only purchased some croc charms and pretzels. But the service was great. Check it out if you are nearby! It's huge and they have a ton of cool things. We didn't even get to check out the entire place.

After one of the games in the tournament, the team decided to come check out Scheels in Reno. I love how enormous the store is. Scheels is welcoming to all, even the dogs. I noticed that there were bags like you would see at a park provided in case an animal had to go to the bathroom. I did see a few dogs on leashes with their owners throughout the store. I had a great time looking at everything Scheels has to offer. I did end up getting a score book. I loved the display of different cups and their colors. The Ferris wheel is cool along with the aquarium. If you were in Reno, I highly recommend you check out Scheels.

I really like Sheels. I agree with the other comment that Sheels is like REI, Sportsman's Warehouse, and Cabela's all in one.

It's all wet, soggy, smelly "like a port-a-potty" my girlfriend said with a cringe. Luckily I have footjoys, not one drop hit my socks. But anyway, this place was stankin. Next... Water. Every hole may as well be an island because you're gona lose a dozen balls at least. And I'm not the worst player. If your gona play here, don't bring your Pro V1's Tiger. They're no good here. And last but not least, bugs! There were bugs all over the place. But the mosquitoes were the worst of them. I just remember my girlfriend shrieking because they were all over her, then I look down to see a few on my legs. A few okay. But there were dozens of these blood. Suckers all over us. This was on the 11th hole. And that's when we finally turned around and hit the road. Like I said, hit your favorite par 3 instead driving out if your way for a "deal". Worst course I've played in a while.

One of the best things about playing this course is the view you get of the Valley below and all the surrounding mountains. I enjoyed playing the course. It is well laid out and even though there are a lot of houses around the course they never presented any problem. I would like to see more distance markers. There is also a driving range available which has toptracer which allows the player to track distance, height and ball speed.
