Was in Franklin and saw a candy truck and stopped at the Schakolad Chocolate Factory. All of the chocolate is made there and the place has something for every sweet tooth. They have items like caramel and chocolate covered caramel apples, chocolate covered strawberries, tons of Easter chocolates, and trays of miniature chocolates along with sugar free! What I really liked was the chocolate classes they offer and I plan on doing one in the future. I bought a small sampler...big mistake. I should have bought the large sampler the chocolates were so good, wonderful buttery texture, and great chocolate flavors. These chocolates are really decadent.

Amazing fresh local chocolate treats of all types and taste. The staff are very nice and welcoming to all who enter!

Absolutely love this place. Great selection of sugar-free chocolates. They also have amazing regular chocolate. It depends on what you like.

Tons of chocolate selection! They have an Oreo covered in even more chocolate. I like that the whole room was filled with so many selections of chocolate. You can pay per pound like i did. My husband loves every piece he has eaten. They also have a sugar free section! The staff was so friendly i will definitely be back!

A little testimonial for a local shop... I saved my favorite heart-shaped box from several Valentines Days ago. Instead of buying a new box of chocolates every V-Day, we go to Schakolad and choose the chocolates to put in the box we already have. And because our last few experiences with Shari's Berries have not been exceptional, we get our Choc-dipped strawberries from Schakolad. You can call and place your order now. ...just thought I'd share our great experiences with Schakolad. Save money and shop local. @ Schakolad Chocolate Factory Cool Springs

I was visiting TN from CA. My friend bought me a box of chocolates from here as a gift and each one was so PRETTY I almost didn't want to eat them, but of course I did anyway! The box it came in was high quality and classy. The chocolates themselves are decorated differently such as gold patterns, pink, white, different shapes even hearts, etc. They almost look like chocolates made for royalty haha. The taste was yummy too like high quality chocolate and not your run of the mill chocolate from a candy bar taste. I can't review the actual store because I didn't go in, but I can definitely recommend their chocolates. Apparently you can order their chocolates online too, which is something my other friend visiting with me looked into doing because once we got back to California she was craving more of their chocolates. So that says a lot that even from states away that we were still thinking about these chocolates from TN.

We went on a tour at the chocolate factory. This is not the first time we've been on a chocolate tour. The girls who run the tour were friendly, helpful and very informative. We had a great time tasting the different chocolates from different parts of the world and building a solid chocolate house and decorating. Having a competition with other groups made it more fun for the family. Then after you dunk pretzels, marshmallows, and Oreo cookies which you decorate them. This was a great place to bring the kids or even just a date night with the wife or significant other for some good, not-so-clean fun!! The absolutely best part is that you don't leave empty handed. We each took about 1/2 lb of chocolate with us for free. This tour and fun far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend to anyone. It's really a great time.

We received some chocolate for a gift a few years ago and I was surprised at how good it was. When I drove by it the other day I decided to stop by and treat my family to more. This may be the best chocolate I have ever had.

Staff told us they were not allowed to do that and could only serve from what was already in front. There was also a posted Kilwins "Handling Allergen Requests" notice stating that stores should not open a fresh tub, use separate scoops, or implement special handling procedures for allergy requests. I understand no ice cream shop can guarantee allergen-free food. However, families with celiac disease should know this location would not take even basic cross-contact precautions such as a clean scoop or clean/unopened tub. Because of that, my daughter could not safely order. Very disappointing experience. In Response to owner : Hi Ashley, I appreciate your response, but this actually highlights the concern. Saying that using a clean scoop or an unopened tub "would not make a product safer" is very troubling for families with celiac disease. Those steps may not eliminate all risk in a shared environment, but they absolutely can reduce one obvious source of gluten cross-contact: shared scoops and front tubs that may have been touched by cones, cookies, brownies, or other gluten-containing items. We were not asking Kilwins to guarantee that anything was gluten-free or allergen-free. We understand there is still risk in a shared environment. We were asking for basic cross-contact precautions so we could make an informed decision. What is disappointing is that Kilwins' policy appears to remove that choice entirely by refusing to take any special handling steps, even when a family clearly understands the remaining risk. For a child with celiac disease, being told that the store will not even use a clean scoop or unopened tub is not "keeping customers safe" -- it means the customer is effectively excluded from being able to participate. I appreciate that your intent may be to avoid misleading people, but the better approach would be to say: "We cannot guarantee no cross-contact, but we can use a clean scoop and unopened tub upon request." Families with celiac disease deserve accurate information and reasonable precautions, not a blanket refusal.

I've been here several times over the last 5 years and only recently had an odd experience. I love the variety of products in the store and was pleased to see that they had been moved to a larger space inside of the Factory at Franklin! When roaming the store, I would've loved to see more "Franklin" and local apparel - of course they have a good selection of items but I saw lots of "Brentwood" and "Columbia" items and not a lot of Franklin and Nashville which I think would be beneficial for them as they are in the Factory in Franklin. Usually love their young friendly staff but went earlier in the week and had an odd interaction with an older woman at the register who made a weird comment about my shirt. She also seemed to have no clue what she was doing when trying to ring me up. Her colleague had to help her but I literally stood there for 30 minutes JUST TO BE CHECKED OUT. Anyways, usually have a good experience but they are going through change and im assuming they are experiencing some bumps here and there... Either way I will be back and love this little shop dearly.

I called Bubble Joy at 8 am the next day with little hope as I knew they were closed Mondays and Tuesdays. A very nice young man answered immediately and indicated he would text his manager (Kristen) and ask her. Kristen hadn't seen "Giraffee" but offered to go in on her day off to look. SHE FOUND IT.
