I had called in to multiple stores beforehand and came to this specific location because another employee confirmed over the phone that they could print on envelopes. It turns out not all FedEx locations print on envelopes since only certain employees are trained for it. (Why aren't they all for a printing store?) He wasn't sure it will even print right and didn't care to look further into it. He was more concerned about bringing down the line than making sure each customer was fully helped. He wasn't very nice to other customers either and suggested them going to Emeryville if they needed it today because he didn't have the time for it. I was so upset that I ended up walking out. Bear with me as I respond to Copy Central's dispute of my rating,…read more Copy Central "Hi Michael, sorry for any confusion but I believe you may have visited another Copy Central and not our store. We have no record of any estimates or jobs ordered by you," I believe you are tacitly defending a policy that bilks college students out of their money. CC "Regarding your quote, if all you were asking for was printing the files as-is, your cost would be less than $50." And yet, the estimate I got was 3 to 4 times that amount. Now that I've complained, I'm been offered a lower amount. Curious coincidence. "Our most recent estimate is accurate because you asked for formatting 73 individual images, which are all sized differently, and to be printed and trimmed to the same size." Funny thing happened when I attempted to use your self-printing option: you told me I had to use your staff and pay through the nose for the privilege. "It appears you have not taken into account the time it takes to format that many images, but if you believe it's an easy task, please resubmit your files as a print-ready multi-page PDF with bleeds and crop marks." In fact, I did take that into account as I was going to pay to use your Adobe Pro license on one of your computers and where I can do all that myself in less than a half hour. You told me I specifically could not do that in spite that your website specifically states I can. " I'd be happy to discuss with you outside of a public forum, but if this is how you'd like to correspond, I can reply accordingly." Well considering this was your response, yes, I am going to keep this in a public forum so everyone, including, other customers and your staff understand how you operate and how you've treated me. Or, you could promise to conform to company policy and not try to exploit your workers and customers like you have been doing.
