Extremely slow. Trick you into going to the chair while you wait in the water so you can't leave. This place was sort of clean but definitely not immaculate. Weird layout with polishes being in the center where you're in everyone's way while choosing. The color selection is old and outdated. I have been sitting in the chair for 45 minutes and haven't been touched. I have no idea how this place has a decent rating unless you're a housewife that can make it out here when they don't have any other customers. Another subpar nail salon in the area. read more

I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but if I can keep someone from being as frustrated as I have been with this place, I suppose I'm doing some good. This was my 3rd attempt at SB Nails the shellac always lifts within a week and the last time my nails were super bumpy, uneven and terribly filed. I just so happened to get engaged the day after my mani and my nails were terrible! The manicurist was super sweet and very kind, he just wasn't experienced at all. read more

I went there to get lash extensions on Friday afternoon . It was the closest place and i wanted to have longer lashes for my Anniversary weekend. I told the tech I had never had extensions. It took about an hour and cost $50. Not bad and it looked ok to me. Saturday afternoon my eyelids started itching and by Sunday morning ( after being up most of the night ) , my eyes were almost completely shut swollen. Our anniversary weekend was cut short and we called the salon . They said to come in which we did. The tech had to call someone ( i assume the owner ?) and she proceeded to take the lashes off with glue solvent which was awful and very painful at times. This took about 1 1/2 hours and i wanted to Walk out several times due to the enormous discomfort , burning and pain. Of course much of my own lashes were pulled out , too. When she finally finished she just said : I sorry I tried to make you pretty . Never had she even offered to return our money or apologize for not doing a skin test first. I also believe they placed the ( super)- glue to close to my lid. Things got worse over night and I ended up in the ER today . ( Monday) I was placed on steroid treatment,patanol eye drops, allergy meds and was told to Use ice packs to get the swelling down. This was a truly awful experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. My eyes are so very swollen all around and past my eyebrows and my tear ducts are causing severe tightness and pain. I just hope my eyes will heal soon and that my experience will stop this from happening to someone else. read more

This was the third time I have been here. The first time was for a manicure the day before my friends wedding, all of us girls went in for a manicure, which was also my first ever manicure in my 55 years of life. Except for them rushing me, cause I was trying to decide on a color, they did exactly what I wanted. The second time I went there I got a mani/pedi cause I figured my feet would enjoy it as much as my hands and they did exactly what I wanted that time. But this 3rd time when I went in for a mani/pedi I asked for dark green base coat with chrome finish and gold flakes and that isn't what I got. They put black on my nails with a green chrome. They did my toes first so I couldn't see really see the color but it looked black so I asked her if it was dark green and she said yes. I said that it looked too dark and that I had asked for green and she said "yes, green". It wasn't until she was doing my hands that I saw it was black and not green like I had asked for. I told her I was unhappy since they ignored what I asked them for. I am especially pissed cause I spent $130 in there and it wasn't what I wanted. I won't go back. Not unless they fix it by giving me a free manicure in the color I asked for to begin with. read more

After forgetting to have my nails done in Houston, I made a pit stop at this little nail salon because they had good reviews. They charged $5 to take my shellac off before a $17 manicure. I went in for a manicure, and the shellac was pushed without even asking which one I wanted. I wound up getting the dip, which in itself is beautiful, but have had better, and feel that the service did not warrant $50. While the instruments appear clean, the dremmel heads do not appear to be cleaned between customers.I was knicked on about each nail bed. One pretty ugly. There are several sharp areas of the powder near the cuticle. The tech Cindy barely talked to me, but did to the tech next to her in a different language. When the tech next to me asked her customer if she wanted a drink, mine sat quietly while not offering me anything. This is the first time I tried them. I guess I will keep looking. read more

I have had my solar nails and pedicure done at this salon a few times. The staff, mostly family members are rude and try to pesuade you that you need more done than you requested. They start your nails and stop half way through to start another costumer's nails. They told me that "they have to dry" I have had acrylic/solar nails for 15 years and no one has ever told me that I had to sit and wait for them to dry for 15 minutes before filing them. I have had only one employee who was not rough. read more

I've been to other nail salons in the area and I like this one the best. I only get pedicures not my nails done so I cannot comment on the nail services. Ryan does an excellent pedicure and will work with what I want, such as buffing my toenails rather than applying polish. The salon is clean, bright and smells nice. I've never had anyone who works there be rude or obnoxious to me. Ryan never rushes or makes me feel like he needs to hurry to get to another client. I highly recommend SB Nails. read more

Very, very clean nail salon. The pedicure bowls are spotless, and the massage chairs are very high tech. They do a great manicure, and also can provide shellac and solar nails. The owner is nice, and very funny. Yeah, it's a winner. read more
