Nancy nailed it as always. I asked her to include a Christmas/New Year's/birthday theme and she included my favorite style (pink/white hombre ) with a slight dazzle at the end of my nails! I originally wanted a little design on my ring fingers, but this is so much more festive! 10/10 recommend and can't wait to see what Nancy or Lily do for Valentine's Day! Even though it was super busy, Nancy made me feel like I was the only one in the salon - the overall vibe was impeccable and I'm so happy I found a nail salon that I look forward to going to each month! read more

Rushed nail acrylic and gel manicures, walked out one time with one hand filed way too thin and the other way too thick, and I have to pay $70 for that..? One time I was getting a pedicure and the gentleman who painted my toes did not take his time, so much so that another tech came by and without me saying anything to her, she looked at my toes and shook her head and started fixing them. They are friendly but I'd rather not get basic gel manicures and pedicures that look bad and pay standard price. read more

I went in for a French tip manicure, but left with a disaster. I showed my nail tech a photo of what I wanted, and got something completely different. She had to redo the base color twice because the first color was transparent and showed the actual plastic tip through the base coat. It was terrible. Now not only do my nails look thicker, the actual French tip is not symmetrical, and each nail looks like a different shape. I'm so disappointed. I will not be returning. I had to pay $60 for an uneven set and a waste of 2 hours. read more

The lady who did my pedicure rubbed so hard she pulled some skins off and the lady who waxed my eyebrows burned my skin.

A little extra $ but WENDY is amazing on the dip nails. Worth it. Recommend her highly.

Went for an appointment pedicure today. Waitedv30 minutes feet in cold water. Finally proceeded chair hurt my tailbone. Nail tech didn't cut or file toenails until I requested it be done right. Then she cut my toe. Scrapped my feet until sores appeared. I wanted to leave without polish and she literally blocked me. Then a dike customer started screaming at me. None of her business. Owner discounted my bill and she apologized. To the DIKE CUSTOMER... someone some day is going to knock your teeth down your throat for butting in their business. Wow! read more

The male nail artist was horrible. He was on the phone, would not take a moment to let me tell him my pedicure selection. The nail tools were just thrown in a basket and were not clean when they were retrieved because they were retrieved from the same basket they were thrown in. Then, at paying, it asks for a tip and due to rushing I accidentally put a percentage because no tip was SO small I couldn't see it. Will not be returning. My pinky toe nail paint already came off because of the poor service . And I got shellac so that says a lot.. he also burned me when rinsing my legs off because he didn't check the temperature first. read more

My first and last time here. No one was around when we got there and it was 2 1/2 hours later that we are done. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a nail salon. My dip refill looks so bad that I'm going to just soak it all off and go try some other place. There is not enough people to service everyone and working on several people at the same time. I even had to soak off the prior dip power myself. Just very unprofessional! read more

I've been coming here for a few years and Cindy is wonderful!!! Make your appointments with her!

Tried to get some R&R and get my nails done. Went to This awful place ! S&B by HEB. I was looking for a different place and couldn't find it so went here. I don't complain much, but man ! She cut my nails while I still had the old color on and cut too short so it bled, she scrubbed the shit out of my feet with the filer and buffer, and burnt them with the water, wax and towels. They didn't even do the color I asked, wanted to charge me an extra $20 for gel on my toes, tried hard to up sell me on some "new products". The guy didn't even get the extra color and powder off my nails. Some how I was there over 2 hours (wasn't even busy) and ended up paying $150. Don't get Cindy! She'll cut you and scrub your skin off! Ryan showed me his work which looked great on Instagram but not today! read more

I went to get my nails done and it was very obvious she was in a rush. While trying to remove my previous dip powder she had the thing going so fast it got super hot and wore my natural nail thin. She then did my nails all COMPLETELY different lengths and shapes with none of them matching- some even crooked or square on one tip with a rounded edge on the other on the exact same nail. To make it worse, the other hand has a bunch of different lengths as well. Complete waste of $50 as i now i have to go elsewhere to get them done correctly. read more

Usually very happy with the work. Not today. Thought I'd go in for a fill a new color. No ... boy is this an experience. I have recently been getting acrylic just over my natural nails.. I got a new set last time I was in here a couple weeks ago. Where generally they fill the back part of the nail, and yes a little damage to the acrylic on 3 nails, my real nail underneath was still there to just put more acrylic on. TODAAAYYY we saw one nail broken, ripped it off and the real nail had a tear in the corner; however they can mold the acrylic to fill that part in. There was no reason, NONE, to remove the next 4 nails she did. It was very painful. Shoving tools between the acrylic and the thin real nail. She got annoyed when I would jump from the pain. But first off again, for the last 12 years of my life when a PORTION of the acrylic is lifted, they break off the lifted part and fill it in!(acrylic is magic!). I see no reason any nails were ripped, yes ripped, pried off of my underlying nail Like most, I was on my phone not thinking I should be watching over her.. I look down I'm already missing 4 nails working on the fifth like 45 minutes in to sitting down. I was horrified. See picture.. I wanted to laugh but wtf are you doing?! Then she proceeded to grind off or accidentally cut off all my cuticles. When she broke the skin she put my hand in the water she had been soaking the Dremel bits in. Grinding who knows how many people real and acrylic nails and whatever else goes in there. I said,"that's gross how many other people have used that?" She said, get this,"I just cleaned it" I said," you sanitized that?! Seriously?" (Sarcastically, I can see the water residue from sitting and not being cleaned) she had the audacity to smile and nod, like she did sanitize. I was upset about the lack of care for my hand but then procedure after that is to find the dirtiest liquid there is in all of bulverde and submerge the cut.. wow also see picture. Now I'm fighting with the manager about paying full price like currently She's yelling at me, "are you done? Are you done with your talking?" read more

My mom went to this salon for eye lash extensions Friday and woke up Saturday morning and could barely open her eyes. I do not know if they maintain proper licensing or use the appropriate products for extensions. When getting them done she stated "if you have a bad reaction come back and i will remove them" - that should have been a red flag. When my mom went to get them removed they did not even offer her money back and told her she was the only one this happened to. They spent an hour and a half plucking off the lashes and also removed some real ones. Also aloe was leaked into her eye. She woke up with pain in her eyes and TEMPLES. Now she is in the ER seeking medical attention. Do not go to this salon and allow them anywhere near your eyes. read more

I wasn't going to say anything but I feel for safety sake I probably should. I went in on Sunday, February 13 and had the roughest pedicure. I wanted this to be soothing and relaxing but she was anything but gentle. She even cut me and I was still bleeding when I left. I've been here before and had a great experience but I'm afraid to try them again. read more

I went to this place because it was nearby= good. The place seemed clean and they greeted me right away= good. I got a pedicure and in the end, I liked how my toes looked. They sure did push extra services like first, the fancier pedicure, then shellac, & then manicure. I did select the upgraded pedicure called "milk pedicure". They buffed soles of my feet superficially and didn't offer me anything to drink but they asked the customer next to me if she wanted something to drink. Not sure if I'll go back. read more

Treated myself to a manicure and my first set of dipped/powder nails. The girl nicked me a few times and I left with smudges on my nails. Immediately went back in (trip #2) and she buffed and fixed the three smudged nails. I asked for 3 layers of powder and a gel top coat but she wouldn't do it bc it "looks too thick". Two days later all 10 of my nails had a shattered/cracked look to them. Back to the salon (trip #3) to complain. She wanted to just buff off the old color use new powder but I insisted on starting over. Chose a new color. Cuticle edges looked very gloppy and did not have a clean line finish. Let my nails grow a bit and changed to a different salon. Had the set removed and ended up with a nail fungus under one nail. Won't be back here again! read more

I can't say I'm drop dead impressed, I can't say I was displeased, but I definitely am somewhere shifty in "in-between land". The salon is incredibly clean and looks inviting, the promptness in getting a pedicure/manicure without an appointment is fantastic (although, I do feel very bad that it seemed everyone who walked through the door was a walk-in with the expectation that they would not have to wait at all, especially when there were only so many estheticians). Everyone was incredibly nice and I enjoyed talking with Lily and the others far more than I've ever enjoyed talking to any of my pedicurists before (there was a sweetness and ease about her conversation that most no one else has). However, while my pedicure quality was above average, I was not blown away by bliss. My toes were cut and cleaned, my soles somewhat buffed (I've had better), and my nails nicely painted (although they started to chip a day or so later), but the massage was lacking. Lily spent her time moving her hands all over my feet and lower calves, but I never felt that sensation of stress and tightness ebb away like I expect from a pedicure massage. I will admit, the massage is a huge part of a pedicure for me. And this one just didn't hit all the right spots. That being said, SB Nails and Spa is well above average when I consider all the nail salons I've been to, and if it weren't for my hope that there is a place that will fulfill my pedicure fantasies, I would come back. In fact, if you're looking for a quick mani or pedi, come here! They were so accommodating to every single person that walked through the door (more than I think they should have been, but awesome that they were so quick). read more

I came here for a manicure and for a mani/pedi for my daughter. They have a cute area for the wee ones - two pedi chairs in a corner. They even brought out a dvd player for her to watch while her nails dried. This is why they're getting the two stars. I found myself wincing during the mani - the tech was rough and cut me slightly, but several times. She also didn't paint the entire nail - I had to ask her to go back and repaint (this was after two coats). Not impressed, I wouldn't go back. read more
