He didnt do the dip color that I requested...I asked him about it and he told me it would get darker. Mind you that he was suppose to be using the same color that he removed. The lighting in the salon was dark and difficult for me to see the horrible state of my nails while in their salon. He never cleaned my hands after dipping and I left the salon with horribly dirty fingers...There is just so much that went wrong with my second apointment with him that I will never go back. More than anything I am a 68 year old black disabled veteran. He continually and angrily kept trying to hold my fingers in a way that my neck injury (I have nine (9) disks in my neck and upper back fused as one unit with titanium) wouldn't allow...he got mad and stated that I messed up the dip...no he did a horrible job...was not hospitable or even asked if I was ok. I tried to explain, but he barely speaks and understands English...ALso I needed to explain to him about my left foot having had prior surgery was still very tender...I couldn't communicate that to him. The very next day I was in extreme pain because of his roughness. I need a nail technician that speaks and understands English so that I can clearly communicate to them that I am a diabetic with kidney disease. I want to be able to ask questions to insure that they are not using products harmful to my health or that they are doing something that is causing me pain. read more

Went in for a fill, immediately handed a book of colors (polish) and escorted to a desk. I ask for a white glittery polish he said he did not have glittery colors at all. I chose a light blue color for a French tip but upon seeing how sloppy he was working I requested a nude color. He insisted on giving me an only a clear coat instead. He seemed bothered from the moment I sat in the seat. Another girl came by and noticed his hostility and offered another book of nude colors. I picked a random one, I wanted out. My nails are so lumpy and sloppy, the polish isn't even on completely on the nails, one has peeled and I could smell the uncured gel polish. As soon as he was done he got up and left, I believe he was trying to get out of there--it was 45 mins before closing time, I just left super disappointed, Never again. read more

Had a terrible experience. I used to go here starting back in 2008. Since I've gone to other places and go here in emergency situations. Well. The last couple times I have had to come here I end up still having to go somewhere else again to fix what they did. I broke a nail and. Needed it fixed and yet again I'm going to have to go to my normal place after work to fix what they did. The nail that was redone is awful. Wrong shape, length, and the acrylic is so lopsided (hard to capture in a picture). I pointed the issues out to the tech and she kept saying it was right and I was seeing things. The nail polish on all are lumpy. I asked her to shorten them all a little, she kept not doing it. She caused 4 fingers to bleed and multiple others to be so sore. I've been going here on and off for years. I keep telling myself I will not go back. This time I mean it. I paid for a Pedi a 6 year old could of done with the same tools. Then I went to have my nails filled with a color change. The tech was taking off the color and just ignored I had fungi on one nail. Excuse me, could you please fix this? $5 extra is all she said. Fine, I can't live with that. In the meantime, my friend is just sitting there watching and waiting for her tech. Finally after 2 "10 more minutes" and my tech said she couldn't remove my cuticles without me having a manicure. I said stop. Manger came over. Today there was an awful experience here . I went in to get my toes done for an important event and things did not go well. I have come here to get my nails done here and there for years and this time was sadly awful. I miss the technicians from years ago. I requested to get French tip . I was paired with a guy I had not been paired with before. It started off alright but then the paint job was not right . The French tip looked off . Then I just opted for white paint . He did this but the paint looked bubbly, messy , and not done well. I requested to go speak to the owner there to see what I could do to just get this taken off and the pedicure cancelled. The man tried to say he did my pedicure ( cutting my nails , buffing , scrubbing with the purple thing,etc.) I did not enjoy any type of massage , sugar scrub ,towel ,or anything . They tried to convince me to let me just do the basic pedicure because they were going to charge me for the "pedicure" that he already did. I was charged over $30 just for a basic service and because he put the polish on and took it off . I do not fell that this was fair due to the fact that the service was not done well . I was too overstimulated to let them continue with the basic pedicure and opted to just leave. My husband had to chime in just to get the technician to let me go because he was trying to continue when I said no I'm done . I feel bad because I liked going to the nail salon.I have not had this bad of an experience here before. Please be careful who is doing your nails and come prepared to be charged if you like your nails or not. I paid $20 for a basic manicure, no color or anything. the nail technician did not use fresh or sterile utensils, even after being asked stating that the tools were 'new'. Then they used a nail drill on my moistened natural nails essentially shaving the fingernails that took me months to grow after years of acrylic abuse. I left the salon in 8 minutes flat with dirt still under my now thin and weak nails Along with a genuine fear that I may have contracted a blood borne pathogen. Now, let's speak about how this nail set was $90. Before going into the shop I verified on pricing. French tips were $55+. I got charged for a full whole color set for $60. Then the kicker!: Because the French tips were rounded and not straight across it was an extra $20! Which was not explained to me prior or is on any menu online on onsite. I got the smallest nails I could get doing coffin shaped nails (via nail tech). I still got charged for length. They do not offer discounts or refunds so I got stuck paying $158 total for my nails and my $48 pedi. The front desk woman was extremely rude. I spent a total of almost 4 hours because they were short staffed and seating people in chairs no one was working in. I will absolutely not be back here. I will be going to my regular nail tech who charges $110 for this exact same design + my pedi, doesn't charge me for shortest length, and does them exactly how I want them. read more

No one greeted me or asked how they could help me.i waited about 5 minutes and still no one asked if I needed help As I was leaving, a Caucasian woman walked in and was immediately assisted. We have been going to this salon since they opened many years ago. Their nail techs are all amazing. I frequently get my hands done with shellac. The shellac lasts me anywhere from 3-4 weeks. When I lived here, this is where I would get my nails done regularly. I went in today (in town for Thanksgiving) to get a fill,l. The lady, who wasn't very friendly, stated they would have to take them off and redo them. I asked how much it would be because I wanted to know what price to expect.. $65.. no big deal, but then told me they had nobody to help me at the time. There was one lady getting her nails done. This is my first time here and I just got the best pedicure EVER from Jason. He did a good job with my nails but the massage was superb. I typically don't enjoy a foot massage all that much because most pedicurist will spend too much time on my shins rubbing the exfoliate into my sensitive skin and I always wonder why they think that my shins need such a deep exfoliation. He waS nice but they charged me $50 for a refil with ombré. The nails were pretty but way to expensive evasive for a fill in. Unfortunately against my better judgment I decided to give this place another try. I use to come often but the service took a dive. I got a pedicure a few weeks ago and it went well so I decided after doing my nails at home (pandemic) I would treat myself for my birthday. Terrible idea. The nail service was bad and then got worse when I asked if he could ombré the nails that didn't have the slight glitter. I was told it's impossible to do with gel polish. When I said I have done it before at home he quickly remarked well go do it at home then. Needless to say the manager was not very helpful stating that ombré gel polish is only done for nail shows and not in salons only with powdered gel. When I pulled up a video and showed her she blew me off stating it was a "special brush" used. I don't have any and get the same results but needless to say I will not be returning. I used to get my nails done here all the time when they first opened. I stopped going when I got a pedicure and they clipped a toenail too short. It bled and they laughed. Today my usual nail place was busy. In an effort to save time, I decided to give this place another try. One of my nails had started to come up, so the guy used another nail to slide underneath and try to take the old nail off. This is the usual process, except it's done slowly and gently. This guy was doing it very fast. Long story short, he ripped my nail. I squealed and then he chuckled. When he finally got the nail off, he said with surprise, "Oh, you're bleeding!" The lady next to him started talking loudly and laughing in her native language. When my torture session was finally over, I paid at the front desk. The lady talked on the phone the whole time...except for a "$45" indicating that's how much I owed. No "thank you"...nothing. Call me crazy, but I even tipped this man his 20%. I shouldn't have, but my guilty heart about him being like 80 and still trying to work got to me. This place has gone WAYYYY down hill. Every time I go in there's always new people working so I never stay with one certain nail tech. 3 weeks ago I went in and got a full set (acrylic color powder) I don't know if the lady was new or she was just distracted because she did keep stopping to make/take phone calls but she just slapped the powder on sloppy. I didn't say anything because I figured it would get fixed at the end. I ended up leaving with an uneven powder application & what looked like an ombré color when I was wanting a solid maroon. No problem, I got compliments anyways. I go back today, 3 or 4 weeks later & I decide I want to do the dip powder on my real nails. First off the lady nicked my skin when trying to remove my old acrylic & tips & 10 seconds later, sticks my hand back in the acetone. OUCH. End of story, I end up leaving with non shaped/ uneven dip application nails. Not to mention, there's a couple of my nails that are not even completely covered with the dip powder. I actually spoke up this time & asked her if she could fix one nail that was bothering me because it was uneven & all she did was file & buff over it TWO TIMES & continued on, did NOT fix it. I found the Nail Lounge by chance when I was driving by and decided to get my first ever pedicure about 4 years ago. I was relieved to see other men already receiving pedicures. The facility is very clean and walk-ins are welcomed. I have had about 6 different technicians but rate Hannah, Bella, and Angel as the top 3. My wife also uses the Nail Lounge and loves the work that Thi Thi (Tee Tee) does. Since I'm a regular (every 3 weeks works for me), I schedule an appointment with Hannah. She is an experienced technician and ALWAYS does a fantastic job. As with basically everything in life, you get what you pay for. I always get their gold package with all the works and its worth every penny. I have also received a sports back massage with Angel. I was thankful that it was a legit, professional deep tissue massage that worked great for me to help recover from gym workouts. Highly recommend! read more

My first time coming lam did my nails which is the job done with matt black. turned out great and i loved them I came in to get one fixed and i got it done by someone else, not my favorite but whatever. came in to get a longer set, also turned out great. one of them broke and i came in to get it fixed just like the first set, and just like the first set the redo was terrible. it's shorter than the others completely lopsided and not as sharp. i mean it's something but it's just not right. at all. i paid to have it fixed, not this. i had a neon green look done to the second set at first because they didn't have the color i wanted. i came back in with my own color which is olive green and had it put on top and it started chipping at the ends. idk if that's supposed to happen but definitely never had happened to me. I tried being a regular to this place as i've loved lams job from my first time, but after these experiences i don't think i can come again.. i'm sorry. but be wary and always voice your opinion with them if you do not like the look. if you're looking to go i'd request lam to do them. by far he's done the best and as i've seen has the best reviews. he cares about his customers and their opinions. read more

Finally found a decent place to get a pedicure in the area! We had a good experience, no up-sell and they did a decent job. We received a cup of iced lemon water and a little fruit tray which kept my toddler very happy! All with the deluxe pedicure for $45. Would have liked to pick the complimentary beverage and had a glass of wine but still nice. It's nice inside and clean. They weren't overly friendly or chatty and that's fine with me. My husband, best friend and I went to Nails Lounge as a gift to her for her birthday. We spent $272 plus tip. We all got pedicures and then my friend and I go our nails done...while my poor husband patiently waited. Our service was great, the people were friendly and more than amazing all around. Great atmosphere. However, when we left I had chipped one of my nails (I got next gen and shellac on top) before the evening. The next day, I am now sitting with 4 chipped nails. My friends nails (she got shellac) were ALL completely gone the next day after she showered. We've been getting next gen and shellac and I've NEVER seen anything like this. I'm completely bummed to have spent that kind of money and she didn't even get to have her nails on her birthday. ): I got a hold of the salon and have yet to hear anything back.
