I usually go to another nail place around here but have been looking for a new one. This place was nearest to where I was, and able to take us three for mani and pedis walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. Not your average nail salon! Don't be fooled by the outside. The blinds are always down because of the hot Texas sun. The owners of this salon are the cutest and the most kind-hearted... I've lived in the area for a little over a year (military Family), and I always struggle to find a nail salon. I'm very picky coming from a family that owns a salon in another state. Most nail salons are always trying to upgrade your service and they do a horrible job because their technicians aren't actually licensed. Also, most salons are dirty/dusty and unprofessional. The salon is very clean, and the technicians use new tools for each client. The technicians are chatty if you talk to them; however, if you just want to sit back and relax they'll keep quiet. They aren't the gossiping type of salon where they are talking about you to your face in another language and smiling at you. The offer complimentary drinks with your service, and they have a rewards program. Permanent makeup services are offered here. I know microbladding is popular nowadays. There's only one person who can offer this service. That is Katie. I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done. She did an excellent job matching my brows to my natural hair color. She also does among other things facials and individual eyelashes. She is licensed, and her prices are actually very modest compared to other salons. Nail services: I used to get gel manicures all the time here, but recently I've been getting my nails "dipped." The price of the services are comparable to the local salons, but you'll see that RT provides quality customer service along with their salon services. read more

Sure, I was a walk-in for a repair of my dip nails, but I do expect that the staff should have a little better communication about why I have one lady who seemed to speak zero English removing the dip, while frequently Dremel-ing my cuticles, then when we were done, she just walked away. Thankfully after several minutes of just sitting there, a gentleman who just finished with another client, came over to finish my nail color. He didn't say much, just got down to business, and charged me $40 for the job. Barely a week later, my dip is all chipped. Hail to the positive reviews, but I won't be back. read more

It's football season which means awful nails for me Since I bite them really bad while watching my team play every week . With a special function coming up next week I knew I had to do something with my gross nails. I called RT nails this morning and they told me I could get my nails done (a full set) if I came on straight down. Don't be deceived by the outside the people are very welcoming from the moment you walk in. I was seated immediately and Jenny got to work on my nails. I have a cut that's healing on my thumb and she was so gentle and considerate while working on that finger. I am happy with how my nails look and will def be returning. Nearly two years ago my family and I relocated from New York to the Schertz/Cibolo area to be closer to family. I asked my niece for a recommendation of a good nail salon and she told me about RT Nails. From my very first visit I have been nothing but so pleased and happy with the mani/pedi work they have done! Husband & wife, Randy & Katie, are very pleasant in addition to the remaining staff. Randy is amazing with his nail skills! More importantly, he'll give you a courtesy call to notify if he's a few minutes behind your scheduled appointment. A nice touch rather than arriving on time to have to sit and wait. I need to mention that this does not occur often as Randy is normally on schedule. Katie, Katie Katie!!! Love her to pieces! Yesterday 10/24/19, she did my eyebrows! Permanent makeup to last approximately 3-5 years! What a marvelous and amazing job! She is very professional and knowledgeable! She expressed to me that she's been performing this procedure for 14 years! She's studied in Vietnam and also several months in Korea! She was very attentive and constantly checked on me to see if I was in any pain during the procedure. She handed me a mirror and would stop and let me see her progress while explaining each step. The procedure took about 90 minutes and costs $350.00. Please don't let the cost make you shy away! Katie informed me that she has fixed/corrected many customers who've decided that her price was too high and they took the cheaper way out. I ask that you be patient when talking with her as she is from Vietnam and her English language is a work in progress! She knows what she's doing! She even does her own eyebrows!
