When you arrive they will confirm the services and offer you a complimentary beverage. Go get your nails done. Next time I'll request a facial mask while I get a pedicure. I asked for her to stop yelling at me and to allow me to talk and continued to stay calm and say that with being in the military and getting my nails done I have never been so disrespected and have to pay for a service I did not like, better yet that isn't finished. The customer ended up being a friend of the owner (nail lady) and said "she's poor and doesn't have the money" and the owner and customer continued to say " you people try to get free nails and say you don't like them." Over and over I was called poor and was told "you people" She told the police that I was going to go home and paint over my nails and needed to pay $20 to soak them off. I told her no, I can pay 4 dollars for a bottle of acrylic to soak them off. Again, I got called poor. I ended up having to pay $10 and sign paper work to never come back which is fine. Vincent was my nail tech, and he was absolutely amazing. I got a simple builder gel manicure with Bubble Bath on top, but his service was anything but basic. As soon as I sat down, he brought me a delicious Bellini and made sure I was comfortable before getting to work. He was incredibly detail-oriented, gentle, and made sure my nails looked perfect. Disappointing Experience…read more I chose this salon based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience did not meet my expectations. The salon itself appeared clean, and the massage chair was comfortable. However, the pedicure felt very rushed. The entire service took under 30 minutes, including very little massage, despite paying $52. During the service, the technician drilled off the shellac from my nails, which left my nails feeling hot and sore afterward. I was not informed that shellac removal would be an additional charge. At checkout, I was told there was an extra $5 fee for the removal. When I questioned the charge, the technician stated that she had informed me of the fee. The manager eventually came over and addressed the situation. I was also asked to pay before my nails were sufficiently dry, making it difficult to leave without risking damage to the polish. I had them use dirty tools, try to overcharge and haggle with me for prices, and make me wait over 45 min for a pre-booked appointment. I also have specific things I look for in a nail salon that I want to outline here before going in. ***Edit***I typed the questions before I went and then filled the answers in the next day after my appointment. - so first off will this location be clean, maintain sterile standards/ abide by safety regulations? The majority of the service was done very much up to par. The only thing is they do not pour acrylic powder into a separate dish which is not ideal as any soft/absorbing surfaces/products should be discarded after a single use per state regulations. - Will they haggle prices? (They are running specials right now that do not have a "no-combination" disclaimer.) I honestly did not have the courage to ask them to use both but they did not add the "10% off all services" on my bill even though they have a huge banner out front. This makes me think they won't give you a discount if you don't ask even if they should. With the discount my acrylic fill with shellac was 40$ without tip. - Am I going to be sitting around waiting for my appointment that was booked more than 24 hrs in advance? I got there at 11:38 for an 11:45 appointment and they sat me immediately. They did leave me sitting for about 5-7 minutes however they started my service at my appointment time. After prepping my nails a bit the tech got up and left me there for at least 10 minutes before a different tech came and did my service. - Is the actual service pleasant, pain free, and generally enjoyable? The nail tech did a great job. She took her time and was very meticulously about the shape, borders, and symmetry which was really nice. She was also pretty fast which is a bonus. She checked in with me serval times during the appointment as well to make sure I liked my nails. This is really nice for someone who may not be as comfortable voicing their concerns. She also very professionally and graciously fixed a couple little things I voiced. - Is the overall product of my nail visibly appealing and what I wanted? The nails are awesome. They had a huge selection of colors I haven't been able to find at several salons and I'll definitely go back to try some others.
