I usually go to another nail place around here but have been looking for a new one. This place was nearest to where I was, and able to take us three for mani and pedis walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. They did a great job. My feet and nails haven't looked this good in forever. They were super friendly. And pretty good prices. It place doesn't look like nothing super fancy like a lot of the other salons but that's okay with me.

Saw great reviews on yelp... Went in with my friend to get a lip wax, pedicure and my nails done I spent around $140 yesterday. Didn't notice till I left that one of my toes doesn't have shellac on it. Kind of disappointing... Makes sense why the tech was rushing me to put my tennis shoes on before getting my nails done

So after my pedicure was done I looked down to see that she had cut off almost my entire pinky toe nail. I asked Tina where my toe nail was and why there wasn't any polish on the end of the nail. She laughed and filed it down EVEN more. Then she asked if I liked my nails and I said yeah everything except for my pinky toe to which she laughed again... I paid $55.00 with a $10 tip on top of that. I'm very upset and I won't be returning. that's what I get for trying out a new salon I guess.

Love love love this little place in Schertz. Very talented people and they ask lots of questions before you get started so they know exactly what you want. Everyone is super nice and helpful and they definitely know what they're doing. COVID-save with plastic guards, gloves and hand sanitizer. Masks required. I definitely recommend and will absolutely be back!

As always, RT Nails continues to provide wonderful manicures & powder dipped nails for me. My nails are super healthy & much stronger than they were months ago. Masks optional now, but the staff still wears them & they still have the plexiglass barrier between you & your nail tech. Always cleaning surfaces too. I feel very safe while visiting.

Not your average nail salon! Don't be fooled by the outside. The blinds are always down because of the hot Texas sun. The owners of this salon are the cutest and the most kind-hearted... I've lived in the area for a little over a year (military Family), and I always struggle to find a nail salon. I'm very picky coming from a family that owns a salon in another state. Most nail salons are always trying to upgrade your service and they do a horrible job because their technicians aren't actually licensed. Also, most salons are dirty/dusty and unprofessional. The salon is very clean, and the technicians use new tools for each client. The technicians are chatty if you talk to them; however, if you just want to sit back and relax they'll keep quiet. They aren't the gossiping type of salon where they are talking about you to your face in another language and smiling at you. The offer complimentary drinks with your service, and they have a rewards program. Permanent makeup services are offered here. I know microbladding is popular nowadays. There's only one person who can offer this service. That is Katie. I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done. She did an excellent job matching my brows to my natural hair color. She also does among other things facials and individual eyelashes. She is licensed, and her prices are actually very modest compared to other salons. Nail services: I used to get gel manicures all the time here, but recently I've been getting my nails "dipped." The price of the services are comparable to the local salons, but you'll see that RT provides quality customer service along with their salon services.

The service is amazing, 90% of the time. However the customer service is not. My toe polish was suppose to be shellac and the tech regular polish. My nail obviously smeared and I went to get it fixed. I was questioned over and over about whether i was actually there yesterday and what services I got done. One, when a customer walks into your establishment you should greet them and acknowledge their presence. Two when you are helping a customer, you don't skip over them to help 3 other people and have the customer wait because you "have to prove" they got their nails done in your establishment yesterday. This is one of a few times I have had bad customer service at this place. read more

This was my first time at RT, and I'm pleased. The shop is modest, but the staff is friendly without being intrusive; so, if you want to relax and zone out... no worries. The nail service selection is comprehensive and executed well (I had the hot stone pedicure). I highly recommend. read more

This is my favorite nail place in Schertz. I started coming here about a year ago and I would never go anywhere else. If you still go to Nail Lounge up the road you are making a big mistake. The staff here are always so friendly and personable. I love that I am always addressed by my name and offered a beverage. They NEVER rush me out or make me feel like I'm just the next person on their list. I like my nails in the coffin shape and pretty long, which can be a lengthy process with all the shaping that has to be done. The ladies here do an AWESOME job and never cut corners when it comes to my nails looking perfect. Come here once and you'll understand why I'll never go anywhere else. read more

Average nail place. They are a small place next to a gas station and nothing different on their services menu or decor/atmosphere. They are very slow but it is because they are detailed with pedicure. Prices are the norm, and they layered on about 4 layers of powder dip color on my nails, which I didn't really think was necessary. Overall my nails looked good, but I'll keep searching for my local spot. Unfortunately this isn't it. read more

Didn't like it. I asked for something and what I got doesn't look like what I wanted.. I called beforehand and they said it would be $30 for gel and manicure but when I got there they said it was $40.. first day and the gel polish is already coming off at the tips and chipping read more

I tried two other places before I saw all the positive reviews on RT Nails. It's very hard to find a place that is sanitary and does an excellent job. I've been going there for about 5 months and I've never been disappointed. Vivi does an excellent job. I get the dip powder. Not sure what is officially called. My nails have never chipped nor lifted and I'm brutal on my nails. Katie is also excellent and also does waxing. It's not down the street from my house but I'd rather drive then be unhappy and waste money and fume about my nails. They are also welcoming and friendly and provide excellent customer service. read more

I paid for two shellac manis and one pedi. One of the shellac manis lasted one day then chipped. When I paid for them and gave the girl a $10 tip she said how am I supposed to divide this among 3 people? I've never had anyone complain about a tip before. I will not be back. read more

I moved to the area in July of this year. I had to find a new nail salon and hit the jackpot with RT Nails! Katie and Randy are now running the salon and they are the best! I've used several of their services and they've always been spot on! Today while I was getting my deluxe pedicure I decided to get a facial mask. My skin feels amazing! My favorite nail salon! I feel like I'm visiting with family each visit. Kati, Tia, and Randy are very welcoming. My nails are always completed top notch from designs, color choices, and massage. I feel like I'm walking on clouds after my pedicure!! Kati is amazing at taming my eyebrows that have a mind of their own after failed microblading from another esthetcian. I had a really nice pedicure here. She did a great job trimming my toenails and cleaning up my cuticles. She also gave a really good foot and leg massage. The only downside was they could not process my debit card because their wi-fi was down. I walked down two doors to the convenience store and got cash. read more

Our stylist Dani K. canceled on us twice in a row then called us with an attitude and she's a manager. Our next stylist, Sarah M. honestly expressed that she didn't even know how to do our daughter's hair after Audrey at the front desk assured us that we would not be canceled or rescheduled on again. Well guess what? We were rescheduled on again, for a third time. If I were to cancel my appointment without a 24-hour notice, this salon would eagerly enforce their strict cancellation policy and charge me without a second thought. Yet, they apparently feel completely justified in waiting until the exact moment my daughter and I walk through their doors to cancel on us. Their excuse for the third reschedule? They suddenly realized they were ill-prepared to do my daughter's hair. A professional establishment knows the capabilities of its stylists and communicates appropriately during the booking process. Waiting until we arrive to turn a child away is not only cowardly and blatantly unprofessional, but it also feels incredibly targeted. A friend and I had a wonderful experience yesterday here at RT Nails. We have not had our nails done very often and wanted to venture out. So we checked reviews and pricing. Because of the reviews for RT we decided they were the place to go. Personally we had such a friendly, pleasant experience. I had lots of questions about specific treatments and they had easy understandable answers. David did my mani/pedi just like I wanted. While my fingernails were drying either I moved or something and a couple of my nails got smudged. No problem! David was already busy and Katie very graciously repaired them and I got back under the dryer. We enjoyed RT very much and have made our next appt with them. Randy and Katie are artist when it comes to doing your nails. They stay up to date with the new trends and techniques. Getting my nails done and a pedicure is like a mini vacation. The whole staff is loving and kind. Their pedicures are so wonderful, makes my whole body relax. Their prices are great with a basic price for either a pedicure or manicure and you have many options to add like a drawing on your nails or add a little sparkle with rhinestones. The RT Nail experience was wonderful! Katie checks with you at every stage to make sure she's doing the manicure and pedicure the way you want. The accompanying massage with the deluxe pedicure was wonderful and relaxing. I will also be scheduling an eyebrow wax and facial. I always make an appointment as they get a lot of repeat business! I love this place. Katie does my lashes every 4-6 wks and she did a permanent makeup procedure on my eye brows back in September. The procedure was quick, heal time was quick and my brows are perfect!!! She's always on time, very sweet lady and the customer service at the shop is awesome. Her and Randy are awesome.
