Came here to get some school work done and really enjoyed myself! It was pleasant and quite. Typical coffee shop feel. My coffee was tasty and made well. Nothing spectacular. I think the location is the best thing this coffee shop has going for it. Right in the heart of Haddonfield! The menu is lengthy and I didn't have the opportunity to order any picky foods but I will likely be back to try! It was a tad crowded and the only available tables were kind of messy. (Understandable) but I would have preferred a clean table to enjoy my coffee and complete my work on. I look forward to spending more time and trying more beverages and foods! Cute place! I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're visiting the area. (Starbucks is right down the street and this is eons better then the slop you'll find there!) read more

I had a couple hours to do work before attending a Barre class up the street at Pure Barre. Saxby's was super close, about 2 doors down, so I wandered in without thinking too much of it. I ordered a medium coffee, and sat down to dive into my overwhelming to-do-list. The coffee was GOOD! I am usually a little bit of cream & sugar person, but for whatever reason, I just picked up a packet of sugar and decided to try it that way - it was delicious. I just ordered whatever was their regular house coffee - it was nice and bold, with full body without being bitter. I drank a lot of it, and only had a bit of trouble falling asleep later that night... I also want to comment on the space itself. I get slightly frustrated when there are irrational number of tables shoved into small coffee places in order to accommodate more people - but it ends up making the work environment really uncomfortable and unproductive (for me, at least). Saxby's is not short of space - that's for certain! Plenty of tables, yet plenty of room too! There are comfortable arm chairs, high top tables, tables for 1-2, and larger long tables for groups. I was there from 3-5 on a Thursday, so it was definitely attracting the post-high-school sweet-cream-cold-brew crowd as they poured over their latest Instagram posts. But you know what? There was enough space for all of us to be there, harmoniously. There's background music playing, but not too loud that I couldn't pay attention to my own music in my headphones, or the occasional phone call. I am definitely going to file this for my 'places to do work' bookmark collection for the future! read more

Owner complained to coworkers when me and my friend couldn't decide what we wanted. We were looking at the menu since it was my first time ever going to Saxbys, and the man quite loudly said to the barista, "They can't even decide what they want, this is ridiculous." Considered walking out since I was being such an inconvenience to the workers. There's a Starbucks down the street with much better service. read more

I am currently here, having arrived at approx 12pm on a Sunday. It has been *packed* since I got here. Nearly every single seat was taken, except for two right next to a couple of women. I started out with standing along a bar area (with no chairs) until I finally asked if there was anyone sitting next to these two women and they were more than happy for me to sit with them. If you're still social distancing, you probably don't want to plan on sitting down here on a Sunday without your own group of people to take a whole table...if ya know what I mean? Anyways, it's my first time here! 'At any Saxby's! I got the salted caramel cold brew with almond milk and it's really good - I like it a lot. I also got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel that was just fine. Not bad, not great - just good. Kinda small, IMHO. I feel like Jersey could absolutely do better in the bagel department. I def like it here, though, and I'll def be back! read more

The service is fast and efficient and the baristas are always super friendly!!! I always get a mocha and it tastes like perfection every time!! The place is very clean and relaxing. read more

One of my usual go to places to be productively studious. Always an open table and a satisfying ambiance.

My husband and I like to stop in here sometimes on Saturday mornings. It's pretty decent, nothing special. I usually get the avocado toast and an iced coffee, but today I requested an egg white with it. The girl ringing us up ( straight black long hair) acted like I asked for a filet with a side of gold. She didn't know how to charge us for the egg and made it very clear that we were causing her a massive inconvenience. She ended the transaction with an eye roll when my husband asked for wheat bread. It honestly wasn't that deep, she could have just said no and I would have survived. Cheer up buttercup! Your attitude is a turnoff!!! read more

The best coffee shop in the county. Super coffee, menu and exceptional staff! A pleasure to visit.

Calming and relaxing vibes here with a lovely window counter sitting area to take in the view while chatting with a friend or two. Spacious area with a good amount of seating spots and a restroom as well friends. Moreover, their menu carries a good variety of beverage options at your normal coffee shop prices so do check out sometime if you're visiting Haddonfield. read more

I really don't see why this place should have any less than five stars. For one thing, the owner/manager is the nicest guy in the world. He always greets you when you walk through the door and makes sure that you are getting the best experience possible. As far as drinks go, their iced coffee is great and very refreshing and is probably right in line if not cheaper than Starbucks. I have also tried several of their iced teas, which are also very good. As far as food goes, we have tried the caprese on ciabatta and tuna on whole grain. Both sandwiches were fresh and quite tasty! The ambiance is laid back, cool, and casual with plenty of room to spread out. It's great for a place to chill and people watch with the view of Kings Highway out front or to hunker down and get some studying or work done. They also had some sweet Motown playing when I was there last week, which put a smile on my face. I highly recommend checking them out! read more

I stopped in for a croissant on my way back to my car. I doubt them make they in house, but my crescent was buttery and flaky, it pulled apart easily and was soft on the inside. Very quick service. I was able to walk right up to the counter, order, pay, and leave within minutes. read more

I'm usually not big on chains but I remember going to a saxbys when I was out of state and really enjoying it and I wanted to remember why so me and a friend went this morning. The coffee shop is located on kings highway so there is some on the street parking but no real lot, luckily we went on a Sunday so the BB&T parking lot was open for public use. They are also not far off from the lot for Haddonfield public parking. The coffee is EXCELLENT, we both went with the speciality turtle latte in sugar free and are still talking about it hours later. Neither of us had food but that looked great too. What really sets this coffee shop out is all the different sugar free flavors they have. Truly something that is hard to find. I wish saxbys was on my way to work because this would be a daily stop, instead of something I am now entering into my every weekend routine. The service was your typical coffee shop service and was friendly. read more

I've worked in Center City Philadelphia for years and was excited to find a Saxby's in walking distance of my apartment when I moved to South Jersey. I really enjoy the coffee and have never had an issue with the food The gentleman at the register was friendly and seemed to know everyone who walked in. The folks making and handing off the crafted drinks were less friendly as they handed customers their orders, but the older gentleman at the register made up for that. While I'm yet to take a bit, I will admit that I didn't expect to wait 15+ minutes for a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. I'm sure it's delicious, but I don't know if this would be my first choice if I was on the move. read more

The coffee is "just ok". There is no reason for this place to be in business. They have simply copied Starbuck's model without adding anything. This location is not especially comfortable. No fireplace, no couches, no comfy chairs. It's almost a Wawa. I was charged full price - $1.39 - for a refill of a 12 oz drip coffee. Refills at Starbucks just up the street is $0.50. At Jersey Java, they are half price. Bottom line: I'm not going back. read more

Looking for a coffee house with warm vibes and chill atmosphere? Saxby's is the right place. Whether you want to catch up with a friend, need a quiet place to study, or just need to satisfy your coffee fix, this is the place to go. There's a lot of room to spread textbooks out on the tables or to lounge around on the arm chairs sprinkled throughout the cafe. The music is soft enough to be enjoyable, but not too loud to be distracting. Coffee is delicious and the fresh orange juice is cold and refreshing. read more

I really enjoy coming here! Their fancy coffees can be a little pricier, but the coffee is great. I love their maple bourbon lattes in the fall and in general, I love their caramel macchiato. I'm also a big fan of their caprese sandwich (mmm fresh mozzarella!). It's a nice place to sit down with a friend, but since Saxbys is pretty popular, sometimes it can be difficult to find a place to sit. I also find that the seats/tables near the front window behind the divider are a bit too close together to have a private talk with someone if others are around (so I'll try to find a seat elsewhere in the shop). read more

I occasionally like coming here on Thursday nights (open mic) to people watch and sip on a coffee or chai. Prices are around the same as Starbucks, in my opinion, but the baristas are a little nicer. I thoroughly enjoyed a chai latte here last, which they also offer sugar free--much appreciated. And if you don't mind a calorie bomb, the caramel apple cider + whipped cream is dessert in a cup. Plenty of seating; never had a problem there. My only complaint, and why I docked a star, is sometimes the floors desire more sweeping and I have once received a mug with lipstick on the lip :s That would be my last time ordering "for here". read more

I'm used to the Saxby's Rittenhouse location so I was excited when one opened up down the street from my apartment. The first impression people have with this place is that there isn't comfy seating, or a lounge. It's a city style cafe. Quick eats, smooth coffee and a pleasant enough atmosphere where you can spend some time. One of the reasons you don't see a lot of "couch coffee shops" is due to the fact they don't really last. Saxby's offers plentiful seating, and I don't feel like I'm too close to my neighbor. I can even get a sandwich my coffee and laptop all on the same surface here. If I had to suggest something to try here, I would recommend the Americano. It's slightly sweet on the tongue with that richer flavor most of the walkers here in Haddonfield have become accustomed too. Their basic Dark roast is quite mild and might seem a little easy to swallow if you are used to the other guys. read more

Stopped in while shopping in Haddonfield and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and quality of the coffee and food offerings. I did not purchase any food on this trip but those who did had items that looked delicious. The coffee was well made, not bitter or burnt tasting, and was a nice balance of coffee to cream ratio in my latte. It has a "local" coffee shop feel, even though it is a local chain based out of Philly. This is the only NJ location currently, I believe. I would recommend stopping by for a coffee during your next trip into Haddonfield. read more

I think this was my first time at a Saxby's! The space is very open and inviting but could use more chairs, especially more comfortable ones. I ordered the chocolate monkey latte with skim milk, and it was really good. The boyfriend got a bagel with some sort of a Heath latte. The total was $12, which was a little pricey, but we don't get lattes too often so this was a treat for us. I drank my latte as my boyfriend ate his bagel. by the time my boyfriend finished his bagel his latte was still not ready, so he asked one of the employees about it and it looked like they forgot to make it, which was kinda weird, but they just opened so it wasn't a huge deal. They quickly made his latte, but my boyfriend later commented that it wasn't that great, especially for $4, and that they may have rushed to make it because they forgot about it. In our time here we witnessed what looked like a manager yelling at an employee, which was not cool.... I'll definitely come back - and will probably get something cheaper, lke a coffee. read more

Went this past Thursday to work not knowing it was Open Mic, which starts at 7PM for those who are interested. :) They offer a spot for anyone who wants to sing, play an instrument, read poetry, or even try out some comedy. Coffee is really good. Had a delicious Vanilla Latte. Plenty of space and an outlet is located near almost every table which is great for anyone working with a laptop. Will be back to do work soon and catch another open mic. read more

Great Coffee, excellent soup and sandwiches and a cool, laid back atmosphere. Owner is on the scene & is super gracious... that alone makes me like the place. This is my favorite Coffeehouse, hands down. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy some down time, and drink some great coffee, this is the place to be. I've been to other Coffeehouses, but I am always coming back to Saxby's. The people there are inviting, motivated, and friendly. The food at Saxby's is really good too. It tastes fresh, and it is delicious. They have different soups of the day, frozen yogurt, and a host of specialty coffees that are incredible (just ask my wife). I like a good coffee, and Saxby's Coffeehouse definitely excels with their choices. read more

Some of the best coffee around. The food is so fresh and delicious as well. It's like Panera, but a million times better.

This was one of the first cafes I've been to and I loved it! The workers there were very nice. The coffee was really good. I went around 4:30/5 on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy which was nice because I got my coffee pretty quickly. The inside is cute. The food was good. Everything about this cafe was good. You can expect me to go back again! read more

I absolutely love coming to Saxbys! The atmosphere is amazing! It is a cute coffee shop where the workers are great, the coffee is excellent, and it is a great place to get work done. I love getting their Iced Americano because it has a rich taste to it. If you haven't tried it then you are missing out. They have multiple different locations in Philly! So next time you are in Philly you have to stop at Saxbys. You will not be disappointed! read more

I've found my home away from home. It's a Friday nite, live local 'coffee house' music- no pun intended...I'm drinking an Almond Joy latte off the menu...which I usually try to create at other non-Starbucks coffee spots and they almost always fail- The atmosphere is relaxed and warm...and get this---they have legit food. Not Starbucks food, like real sandwiches...for example grilled cheese w bacon and tomato and daily soups...wait a sec...did they make this menu based solely on me and my preferences? Thanks! Can't wait to come back---wonder if they will take my Starbucks gold card? Lol read more

My favorite place to get hot or iced coffee, lunch, dinner, breakfast & yummy treats. The best people work there

Delicious coffee, festive atmosphere, live music, good food, inexpensive prices. If you like any of the previously mentioned things, you'll want to give this place a try. Definitely a step above Starbucks. You just can't beat the charm and authenticity of a local business. read more

I frequent this coffee shop often because it is close to the playground. It's always been a pleasant experience. On July 4th, I went in for a coffee and asked for a cup of water. The barista (I believe that he was likely the manager as he was much older than all the others) gave an audible sigh and rolled his eyes. I am happy to pay for the water, but certainly his rudeness was unwarranted. From now on, I'll gladly walk the extra blocks to the Starbucks down the street! read more

I love a good coffee house. We came here on a day off so there was no rush. I only wished they were easier to access for a quick coffee right before work. Metered parking and traffic around Saxby's can be a challenge. I tried the featured coffee of the day some sort of cinnamon flavored coffee and it was up to par. The guy got a specialty drink, the mounds. It was a mix of coconut and chocolate. I loved the flavor. There was such a lengthy list of specialty drinks on the menu. This place makes a good alternative to you know who down the street. read more

Why do people go to coffee shops? They go for good coffee, relaxing environment, and good internet. The coffee here is good. The environment is so-so. Kids come in and go all the time. How are they even allowed to purchase coffee? The worst part about this coffee shop is the wifi, or lack there of. The internet is spotty and when it does connect to your computer, it is in and out more than people entering and exiting this bad coffee spot. The wifi didn't even connect to my iphone.. I was told by the employee that it does not work in certain areas of the shop(which is not that big to begin with). What is up with that? You go to a coffee spot to have decent internet to get work done. The only plus is that it is not Starbucks. read more

This review is only about their Pumpkin Spice Latte. It's DELICIOUS! Plus it has all natural ingredients without any weird chemicals. There is pumpkin purée in the latte.
