So I came because some food influencer was talking this place up. Honestly, it was Meh. A family of 5, and all of us agreed that it's not a place we would come back to. Nobody behind the counter even acknowledged us, not a smile or a quick Hello. And yes I judge that because if you don't wanna be there, why would we want to spend our time, gas and money there. We get in and nothing, the table that we were at was dirty, and the floors on the way to the bathroom was slippery as heck ! I went through the drive through and after 15 minutes I finally made it to the window - there was ONE car in front of me - for her to read back the order that wasn't mine. After confirming my order I get a back pushed at me however I'm still waiting on my drink. I dipped into the bag to grab a fry and these are the greasiest undercooked fries I've had in a long time. The light color should have been my first clue but it tasted like raw potatoes. The lady comes back to the window and I ask, is it normal to wait 15 minutes in the drive through which she tells me that "it's been crazy today, I don't know what's going on" and then I tell her about the fries and she just looks at me. I ask "shall I come inside to talk about my order?" And she said "yes you can do that". I go inside and there is NO ONE at the front counter. There are people standing around waiting for their order and the girl who was in the drive through finally comes up to me ready to take my order. I tell her I just came through the drive thru, is there a manager. She turns to the lady on the line and says "she wants to talk to the manager" to which she proceeds to ask how can I be helped. I explain and tell her I waited in the drive through for over 15 minutes for undercooked fries and I'd like to get my money back. She graciously gives me back my money and apologized saying they were understaffed (need a job? I'm sure they are hiring!) and she didn't know why the fries were greasy and undercooked. New addition to Greenville! I wasn't familiar with the establishment so I researched and tried to order online for pick up in the store. The Website had a few errors and wouldn't work. So I drove over and ordered at the counter. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY trained and friendly! Very helpful and gave advice on the best ways to order. Service was excellent! Plenty of parking and they have a drive-thru (which I'll use when the app works). The interior is flashy, appealing, and super clean. I ordered the #1 with classic Angus and ribeye which comes with crinkle-cut fries (may try the other fry options next time) and a large Coke (32 oz). For sample sake, I also ordered the English cod, fried chicken, and crab cake. Standing, looking at the menu, I developed a craving for the chocolate shake (dangerously addictive photo in the place). They have 9 shake options and a lot of soft drink options including tea. To please my Doctor, I ordered a garden salad with Avocado. The order was well packaged and had it to me very quickly. Of the sliders, the ribeye was good, the cod was delightful and the crabcake was a bell-ringer winner! The others were pretty decent. The crabcake is absolutely WOW! The Boom sauce gave enough kick for a tender mouth like me. The fries were pretty good. The salad was enough for 2, maybe 3 people! The shake, well, nope. I discovered Savvy Sliders on Yelp a few months ago and thought to check it out for the first time since it's hard to find a fish sandwich year round. Instead of eating inside, I chose to place my order via the drive thru and take my food home. I got the second combo (one fish and one falafel slider) with fries and a side of cheese curds. I wanted to try their onion rings, but they were sold out. You can pick your flavor of fries, and I went with what the worker suggested: Cajun. No complaints with that as someone from New Orleans! The sliders were great, but what was most shocking was how much more I enjoyed the falafel slider than the fish one, which was the purpose of my trip there! The falafel, which is hard to get right, was flavorful and not dry. The fish slider was really good despite being slightly greasy. The Cajun fries were good but needed more seasoning. I ended up using some of the boom sauce (included with the cheese curds) to compensate. The cheese curds were delicious! They had the perfect amount of breading and cheese. The service was nothing special; it could have been a bit better. Also, this place is quite expensive. I spent $21 on this order (drink included), so that was slightly disappointing. My 1st visit was on 10/16/2023 around the time they opened doors. I ordered a Box 1 Combo with the Classic Angus Beef & Famous Fried Chicken sliders and a side of Cajun-Seasoned Fries. The seasoning on the fries wasn't enough for me to really taste the Cajun-seasoning. They were served hot and crispy but just no flavoring. The food was just okay for me but I will have to visit again to try more of their offerings. My 2nd visit was on 01/22/2024. I ordered a Duo SwitchUp Box with the Steakhouse Rib-eye and English Cod sliders and a side of Cajun-Seasoned Fries. Once again the fries were disappointing. This time they lacked any seasoning taste even though what I assume is seasoning can be visibly seen. The Cod and especially the Ribeye slider looked nothing like their menu pictures. They weren't "premium" but maybe in price for a slider. You can see in one image how the relevant size of the ribeye compared to a ketchup packet. Saw this place on the way to work, and decided to stop there for dinner. I had hopes for this place, since they just opened, but I was let down very quickly. I went through the drive-through and it did not seem to be busy, but it literally took over 30 minutes for me to get my order and there was only one person ahead of me that did not seem to order a lot of food . As far as service goes, they spent way too much time in the kitchen, running their mouths than they did paying attention to the order. Next, I placed my order and that took a while since the person at the front had to multitask. By the time I got to the window it had already been 20 minutes. Again, only one car was in front of me. Once I got to the window, I got my order and the first sandwich was correct as far as I know, but both of them were a complete mess. I know I ordered lettuce wrapped, but they were literally soaking out of the bag and probably one of the worst wrapped burgers I had ever seen. Next, what truly gave them a one star was the fact that my hangover burger did not even come with a burger. They literally gave me lettuce, fried egg, and half a piece of bacon! I was already more than halfway home when I realized it and I had to call and confirm that I was not seeing things. Considering the bag was wet, I thought maybe it slipped out but no, they completely forgot the burger at a burger restaurant . When I spoke with the manager, he was nice enough to give me a refund for the trouble and explained that they just opened. I understand that, but I have worked in the food industry and there should've been some extensive training and management instead of allowing the employees to run their mouths while trying to prepare orders. I literally could hear Every detail of what the loud lady was saying in the kitchen before I got to the window because the walls are so thin. I would not say the food was bad, but I can't conclude that it is good enough for a 30 minute wait in the drive-through. Came to ultimately taste the burger that I never actually tried. The chicken is decent, but I will say it was more the sauce than anything. Ultimately, go here at your own risk, and definitely check your order before you drive off.
