A late night healthy pit stop. I've been to this location numerous times and each time I have had a satisfying experience. Located off Greenville ave right behind the Chick fil A and next to Hawaiian Bros. This Snappy Salads is very spacious with plenty of open seating . I picked up the usual Buffalo chicken salad with blue cheese . I also checked out something new on the menu for once which was the lemon pepper chicken pita pocket. I like the fact that they have rewards points to accumulate. The pita pocket was very tasty and light. The salad was fresh and savory. I was the last one before closing but I didn't feel rushed . I am a big fan of Snappy Salad but this location is 'no-go' for me. I have been here are a few times (always on off hours or the weekend (never during lunch or dinner) and seems this place gets worse with each visit. On my most recent visit it hit rock-bottom (for me). Like many places, Snappy Salad uses a model where you can 'build your own' salad. If that's too much work for you, they have some delicious menu salads which make the process a little easier. That said, you still must decide if you want a "half snap" or a "full snap" (think small salad or large salad). In the case of the 'build your own salad', both sizes are limited to a specific number of items (i.e. veggies, cheese, nuts, etc.). Also, protein (chicken, beef and seafood) are available for an extra charge. As for this location the staff seems like they would rather be anyplace but here. They never seem to be understaffed but for whatever reason no one seems to be available to initiate the order process. On my visits there has been one person working with another customer to build their salad and they tell me it will be a 'few minutes'. I look around and I see several other staff members in the back area appearing to be talking to each other (perhaps they all went on break at the same time). Eventually, someone will make their way from the back and slowly begin to help the growing line of customers. On my most recent visit, the staff member who helped the two customers in front me did so without wearing gloves, so I was thankful someone came from the back and put on a pair gloves before starting my order. On past visits to this location I have always gotten my order to go but since I had other things to do in the area, this time I chose to dine in which was a big mistake on my part. It was difficult to find a place to sit as most spots were not clean; many contained empty food containers from previous customers. I realize Snappy Salad is mostly a 'clean-up after yourself' place so at first I blamed the previous customers for this. I happened to look at the recycling area where containers and trays are to be put when finished and it was a disaster. This explained why so many customers opted to leave their containers/trays where they were. The last straw for me at this location occurred at the soda station. I went to fill up my water cup and there was another customer there using the water to wash her hands. In this case, she had her fingers stuck right up in the nozzle where the water/soda is dispensed. Of course, I skipped the water. While this was a customer who did that it goes perfectly with how this location seems to be run. If you are in the mood for a super tasty salad, I highly recommend the Grilled Avocado salad from Snappy Salad. That said, I also recommend skipping this location and head to one of the other locations. read more

The infamous Texas salad chain! Plenty of seating and fast service. Due to E. coli outbreak in romaine, the option was removed and replaced with your choice of greens. Our friend warned us about the portion before hand and he was right to do so. My "regular" cobb salad came filled to the rim in this gigantic metal bowl. You always have the option of going with a half, which apparently, is what most people order anyway (so shouldn't this be regular then? And make regular large instead?) The cobb was layered with grilled chicken and a WHOLE avocado! The salad was nicely coated with dressing and refreshing in every bite! 20 minutes into the salad and I found myself struggling the finish the bowl and almost threw in the towel. Would definitely recommend trying the place out to escape the Texas meat scene. read more

We were so glad that Snappy opened its doors back up during this strange time! I was able to easily select my order through the app for pickup and was greeted by a smiling staff at the Greenville location. The manager (didn't catch his name) was so grateful for the support and I was mutually grateful as I really missed them. Favorite menu on the item: The chipotle chicken wrap is a MUST. It comes with chips and their homemade salsa (the salsa has a salty sweet situation and it's amazing). Pro tip: add avocado to the wrap, you're welcome. For our main crepes, my husband and I split the Steakhouse (Philly Cheesesteak-style with ribeye, provolone sauce, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers--pure savory heaven) and the Chicken Carbonara (grilled chicken, mozzarella, bacon, parmesan, and creamy sauce, indulgent and flavorful). Both were stuffed generously, with that signature thin, delicate crepe wrapping everything up beautifully. Our daughter went for the pizza crepe, which she loved, but she also wanted soup on the side. The team was so accommodating. They happily made it happen without any fuss, which meant the world to us as parents. We couldn't resist dessert, and the berry crème brûlée crepe was a showstopper! Torched vanilla cream with fresh berries. It was creamy, crunchy on top, and bursting with bright fruit flavors. Absolute perfection to end the meal. Everything felt fresh, thoughtful, and made with care. The vibe in Snider Plaza is charming too, right near SMU, with that lovely neighborhood feel. Sweet Paris has quickly become one of our favorite spots, hands down. If you're craving authentic French-inspired crepes with a side of exceptional hospitality, stop what you're doing and head there. Five stars aren't enough, it's a solid 10/10 for us! Can't wait to go back. Also, we were so hungry that we inhaled it all before we could get photos, next time!
