I had the tried the location on upper Greenville Ave so I was not averse. The first thing I want to say is how in the world do they get their chicken so juicy and tender? It is really something incredible. Do they brine the chicken? Is it injected with juices? The kid got the two fingers kids' meal and I got the three tender meal. The chicken for both of us was perfectly battered, fried perfectly, and juicy beyond words. Fries were crispy and tasty. I did not eat the piece of Texas toast so I can't comment. Service was fast and friendly. They gave the kid an extra toy so that made her happy. A nice touch that will be repaid for decades as she goes to Cane's on her own and takes her children someday. The restaurant was clean. The layout was similar to the one on Greenville but much better taken care of. The condiment station was full. The drink station was clean. The tables were clean. There was no trash on the tables or floor. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Great location near love field airport. I came here about 445pm and ordered a 4pc box with a sweet tea with no ice. When I got to the window I paid and she handed me the drink and it had ice in it. I kindly asked for it without Ice and she rolled her eyes at me and said did you ask for no ice. I replied to her I did actually at the speaker. *This place needs to be shut down by the health department. The Styrene from the styrofoam is leaching into your food and will give you cancer* Giving customers piping hot food in a styrafoam container should be illegal. Within minutes, the piping hot deep fryed chicken burned through the stryrofoam causing chemicals to LEACH directly into the food. I ate only to find how melted the styrofoam box was. I am sickended to find that I've unintentionally consumed a large dose of Stryene and micro plastics. For an extra .10 cents they could provide customers with heavy duty containers which would prevent chemicals from leaching into your food but this company has such little regard for your health they don't see the extra 10 cents to protect your health as worth the investment. I work in the biomedical field and I can tell you first-hand that and Styrene is a well-researched and well known endocrine disrupter and toxin linked to NUMEROUS CANCERS. They need to make some immediate changes before they get hit with a class action (which would be well deserved). read more

Succeeding, I tried the Texas toast and again I wasn't impressed. The toast was dry and dull. Hoping thing would get better, I moved onto the chicken tenders. Thankfully, the chicken tenders were actually pretty good. The tenders were crispy and juicy. Also, they tasted fresh and had nice flavor. Furthermore, I dipped the tenders into the Raising Cane's sauce and that was easily the best part of the meal. Raising Cane's sauce is a tangy, creamy, peppery, and addicting dipping sauce. 2.5/5. I love fried chicken. Back in college, I would go to Raising Cane's to treat myself after an exam or at the end of the semester. This is one of the chains that carries some nostalgia for me. The fact that it is so close to the medical district made this location a no brainier for me to frequent. My first trip here was shortly after they opened, back in December of 2017. The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was a little quiet, but still great. Fast forward to my last trip, May 2018. I must say I am disappointed about how the chicken is now. What used to be long spears of fried chickeny goodness was replaced by a sad, small piece of chicken more akin to a chicken nugget, albiet slightly larger. You'd expect chains to have the same standard of food, but sadly the tenders here are not what they used to be. Pros: - Nice staff! The staff have been pleasant and friendly each and every time I go. - Clean facility. The tables and restrooms are always clean. - Fried chickeny goodness. Even though the tenders are smaller than normal, they still are delicious. Cons: - Small tenders. The chicken is just ok folks, the fries, if you like warm fries without salt or seasoning (Wingstop and Chic-fil-a have the best fries). Shoot, even the lemonade was just ok (the seeds on the bottom were a nice surprise (not)), nothing compared to Chic-fil-a's REAL lemonade with pulp. I think this place is built on hype. I am a big fan of the chicken; back to my first encounter with the chain in Shreveport,LA. I don't mind having a limited menu here, as I know exactly what I want if I am stopping here and I WILL stop here for chicken before going to a competitor. I give them a huge plus for probably the best tasting Iced Tea at a chain restaurant in the country. My only issue with this location is that the fries need to have more crisp to them and they need more than one sorry ass slow ketchup dispenser. Parking is an issue during lunch hour, but the drive through is relatively quick. This store is a clusterfuck just waiting to get worse. Five times now they've gotten my order wrong. It starts with the girl taking the order. She always repeats it back wrong. Rest assured, what you get will be wrong too. Last time I went, they got my order wrong again. When I asked for my money back they told me they had to give me a card. Why would I want to come back to get more of the wrong food. So, I complained to Nick, the general manager. He asked me to come back. Promised it would be better. I gave it a couple of weeks, came back, and the manager wanted to speak with me. When I gave her my order, to my face she repeated back the wrong order.
