shrimp Pad Thai
Paula L.

The place is really a to go spot. You can sit, but it's super small. It's cute for what it is. The staff are so sweet. The food is super yummy. We got a bunch of appetizers; Chive pancakes, Roti with Massaman curry, shrimp dumplings fried, and peanut dumplings. We also got an order of Shrimp pad thai. Everything was delicious. I got an order of Mango sticky rice to go. we were too full to eat it there, but i couldn't leave without it.

Ok this little spot makes some banging thai food! It's mostly a take-out restaurant , as it only has seating for 6 people max. But we were lucky after a show across the street, to walk past here and catch a seat. The food is soooo good, some of the best fast Thai food I've had. Tried their peanut dumplings, they are so fresh made there and love that they are purple. My girlfriend said her golden wings were delicious and our mains were great. Service is excellent too ,ran by a very friendly lady from Bangkok. I will definitely come back to try more dishes soon.

drunken noodles

Pretty good Thai food here. They have a variety of dishes, and they all sounded all good. Drunken noodles are my go-to, and it was solid. The colour looked so dark though, so one could tell the seasoning was quite strong. It was slightly salty for my taste, but regardless, it was still tasty. My friend and I also shared the roti massaman curry (not pictured), which was also good. But the curry was really watered down? so for dipping the roti, it wasn't great. They also didn't give us that many roti pieces compared to other places, so I was bummed about that. I think the taste of the food was good, but I felt that the texture and the visuals could do some work. This place is more suitable for takeaway orders. There are two tables inside and two on the outside-ish in the wind vestibule (there may have been more outdoor seating) but regardless, the outside isn't suitable for a drizzly or cold day.

Delicious Thai food for a fair price in Williamsburg! Both the drunken noodles and fried rice were super flavorful. They don't skimp out on meat and the portions are solid for what you pay. I've had their drunken noodles twice now and the spice levels were very different, once super spicy and today was mild, but it's still good regardless. Staff are super friendly and gave a free Thai tea with check in, even for take out. The restaurant is tiny so take out was perfect! Seats about 4 inside.

Basil Sauce and chicken

I would rate my experience here a 10/10. The decor is so nice and warm and the workers are SO kind and welcoming. The food is very flavorful and tasty. This location is a must try! This place is tiny but if you're lucky enough to snag a table, I'd say you won't be disappointed :)

This is soo good. Perfect service + Delicious Food. What else can you ask for? Next trip to LA, this is a place to visit again!

Chive Pancakes

Excellent service and lovely food. The texture of the chive pancake and the dipping sauce were especially divine! I'll definitely come back!

Stumbled upon this spot and so happy we did. The seating area is super small, but clean and nicely decorated. The service was wonderful. They talked me through a few dishes due to my nut allergy. And as our food was ready, the gentleman brought it outside for us, and thanked us so genuinely. The drunken noodles with veggies was so colorful and flavorful. The pad see ew with tofu was just what I needed. And finished off with the mango sticky rice which was a delight.

Curry puff is pretty decent but the star should be the pad Thai and it's very bland. Lacks any flavor, basically no tamarind taste at all.

I see some small items marked as vegan, but none of the entrees. Can any of the rice, curry, or noodle dishes be made vegan by request? Thanks!

Hi Ashley, some of entrees contain fish sauce or oyster sauce. But we can substitute to soy sauce by requested. Please let our staff know or add a note to your order. Thank you!

Do they carry different milk substitutes?

Yes! we have almond milk and coconut milk for substitutes.

Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. It was warm and so flavorful and creamy!! I fell in love with Brooklyn even more after coming here. Highly recommend!!

Loved that every table had fresh flowers; you can tell they really care about the little details. We ordered quite a bit and honestly, everything was on point: · Lychee Thai Iced Tea & Yuzu Pop - both refreshing and not too sweet (huge plus for me since I don't have a big sweet tooth). · Moo Ping - solid start to the meal. · Salmon Mango (GF) - the salmon was cooked through (which I asked for), and the mango salad underneath was light and tangy. The sweet fruit with the savory fish worked way better than I expected. · Pineapple Fried Rice - came with shrimp, nice wok aroma, and that perfect sweet-tangy pineapple kick. · Pineapple Lychee Crispy Duck (GF) - duck skin was nice and crispy, and the coconut-based sauce with lychee and pineapple kept it from feeling heavy or greasy. · Branzino Chili Lime (GF) - came out piping hot, classic Thai-style sour broth that paired perfectly with the fish. No fishy taste at all, and the texture was tender. Even the drinks and dessert weren't overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, really enjoyed the meal here -- flavors are solid, service was friendly, and you can feel the effort they put into the experience. Definitely coming back!

I got massaman curry with chicken and spring roll, and my friend got the eggplant basil with a spring roll. Unfortunately, I have to admit I was pretty disappointed. Most of the dishes, especially the sauces, they were extremely salty! - Beef Tartare "Dine-In Exclusive" -- I'd skip this one. The beef was very dry, and it came with taro chips and greens but no sauce to tie everything together. Definitely not what I expected from a tartare. - Enoki Bloom -- Crispy, perfectly fried enoki mushrooms that I actually enjoyed. The only downside was that it was also very salty. The creamy green sauce on the side helped balance it out. - Crying Tiger -- Another skip for me. The steak was dry, tough and chewy, and the meat itself was pretty bland. The sauce had plenty of flavor, but again, it was way too salty. - Pork Jowl -- Probably my favorite dish of the meal. It was perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful. I'd skip the sauce though since the pork was already delicious on its own. - Crab Curry -- Unfortunately, another very salty dish. I honestly don't know how it got this salty. I was expecting more of the spicy or slightly sweet flavors you normally get from a Thai curry, but the salt completely took over. Very disappointing!!! - Thai Iced Tea -- This was actually really good. Creamy, rich and not overly sweet. The menu changes seasonally, so unfortunately, some of the dishes I had seen online were no longer available when I went.
