My wife and I got off a Hudson River Boat and this place is directly across the street, what a Gem. We ordered the Waterfront Salad, the FICO Pizza, and each had a delicious cocktail. The garlic sticks that came with our meal was to die for. Our waitress Marie did a Fantastic job taking care us. No pic of the Amazing Salad, sorry. Highly Recommend.

Very nice Italian American dining experience. The food was great. We started with Caesar salad with added anchovies. The layered lasagna was delicious and the filet Marsala was cooked to perfection. Service was fine. Portions are rather large, but I understand that's what customers seem to expect.

First thing: we ordered off the specials menu and then were told oh--wrong menu, we're out of that. Then we noticed that every other table for bread and when I said something the waitress overheard me and came over to say since I have a dairy allergy & they have butter she was having them make special bread. Fine--but what she brought was just plain toasted bread. She only brought it because she heard me fine. My chicken sandwich was fine but the fries--bland. Not salted & soggy. The fried chicken sandwich was overly fried and lacked something fresh--possibly the garnish of lettuce it was on? Finally, the soda was so watered down. We didn't say anything but when the waitress came to ask if we wanted another she also said she had noticed it was weak & they were changing it. She never brought a new one. So...meh on service. Food was okay. Nothing terrible but nothing great.

While in Hudson, NY we stopped in to this establishment. To tell you the truth thr smell of the food lured us in- THANK GOD!! We started with thr eggplant tower for appetizer. It was fried eggplant and it was so light, you would not know it was fried!! Thr tower had fresh mozzarella, pesto and some type of cream sauce. Delicious !! For lunch we had the salad, it was fried crunchy chicken with salad that had hard blooded egg, hearts, Kalamata olives, re onions and very home made dressing. It was huge, def for two people to share. Now let's get to the drinks, I had a pear martini and hubs got jack n coke. My drink was soooo delish, you could taste pear nectar and it was nice and strong!! Over all place was great, simple yet elegant decor and air conditioning!!! Lol. Definitely stop here when in Hudson, NY

Our table was in the same room as the bar but next to the fireplace. The bar doesn't have actual seating - they have tables in front of it which is nice and keeps the intimate, moody quiet vibe. It definitely had a romantic vibe with the fire, the lighting and lots of flowers throughout hanging from the ceiling. My only complaint is that there was a table with kids who were pretty noisy in the beginning. Not exactly what I was expecting for my Valentine's Day dinner but that's what I get for an early dinner! The food was excellent overall. We had a sense of what we wanted but then the server came over and told us the specials which threw us for a loop! I was dead set on getting pasta because Feast & Floret is known for their homemade pasta but we ended up ordering a few different plates: Quail Special - This was my first time ever having quail. The plate came out with 2 whole birds and to say I wasn't nervous would be a lie. It was a little salty (not sure if maybe it should be) but tender and delicious. It came with creamed Kale and nuts. Chilled Beets with Mint - Weird having with a hot meal but still so good. Butternut Squash Arancini -- A must try. You can taste a hint of butternut squash. It wasn't too overpowering. Affogato - The simplest dessert on the menu but worth it. Regarding drinks, try their Honey Old Fashioned. I'm not a whiskey drinker but always try my girlfriend's drink when we go out. Their Honey Old Fashioned was so good that it made me want to order one for myself! Feast & Floret also sells their own honey. Before we left to get to the show, I had asked about making our own bouquet. Grace, the florist, allowed us to pick what we liked and she arranged our bouquet

My husband liked his gnocchi but I thought it paled in comparison to the tagliatelle, though still good. Our friend got the pork ribs entree and said they were good but didn't have enough meat in the bones so it wasn't much to eat. Although not advertised, they had an eggless kids pasta that my 15 month old daughter loved. We walked in on a Sunday when they opened at 12pm with no reservation as a party of 4 (3 adults and 1 baby - glad they had a high chair) and got seating outdoors under a shaded covering with a fan, but it was still warm (indoors was fully booked). So suggest a reservation if you can. Can't wait to return!

The interior is a nice balance between rustic and modern, creating a cozy/homelike atmosphere. The host and service staff were warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain both the menu and the nightly specials. We ordered the sea salt focaccia with whipped ricotta, the Maine mussels all'Amatriciana, the Argentinian red prawns, the heritage pork chop, and toffee pudding. The focaccia was baked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning. The biggest surprise, though, was the mussels. They arrived already removed from the shells, which I wasn't expecting, but they ended up being the standout dish of the meal. The prawns were good, while the pork chop had nice flavor, though I wish it had been a little juicier. The toffee pudding is highly recommended. Overall, it was a solid meal in a comfortable setting.

My husband ordered Mike frites and they were very good. Frites even came with some homemade aioli I had the fried chicken on a bed of mash. But they should serve mash in the side as the Chicken got soggy. It was all well prepared and tasty. We really wanted a side of cooked greens. But they do not offer vegetable sides...just the frisee salad. It's casual pub like feel. We like this place and will probably come back. And now we know - no side vegetables...

It was hard in the past to find places for all of us but now it's even more difficulty because we still have my extremely picky BIL who has stomach issues, GERD, and a multitude of other issues, and now we have a vegan-ish person who tries to stay vegan but eats cheese, dairy, and eggs. So finding places to satisfy everyone is more complicated. This place met our needs and can meet yours: dog friendly, vegetarian options, and has something for even the pickiest of people. Me and another person got the strip steak, my husband got the Philly cheesesteak, MIL got the wunderbar burger, FIL got salmon burger, the vegan-ish got a veggie burger and one of the salads, which he split with his wife the SIL, and my picky BIL got the chicken sandwich. He freaked out over the sandwich because he wanted to know why it was moist and not dry. His partner and I were like, "You can have fully-cooked, moist chicken. Dry chicken isn't the only cooked option." But he continued to have a meltdown over his perfectly cooked chicken. He did eat it though. Family can drive you nuts sometimes. Anyways, despite the meltdown, I think we were all satisfied with our food. I did find the mashed potato on the steak to be very creamy but everything else on the plate was very good. Steak was cooked medium-rare liked I asked. Overall, the place is very good, excellent food, excellent service, and it was a busy night.

Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. I'm sure I could have easily convinced myself to buy just about everything I laid my eyes upon. The cheese counter was an absolute work of art.
