I have a 2012 Honda Ridgeline and I was hearing sounds that I could not identify and connect to a problem. Of course I'm not a mechanic that's why I have Maintenance & More on my speed dial. I recorded the sound on my cell phone and took it in and played it for Stephanie. She identified the problem just like that! Then my husband remembered seeing a truck with "mobile mechanic" on it and searched for "mobile mechanics near me". We called FRE Performance Mobile Auto Repair and for not much more than it would have cost just for the tow, we got great service at an affordable price. Brent knew what the problem was as soon as he attempted to start it, then verified that with the diagnostic machine. Within minutes, he had diagnosed the problem and found the part in stock. When he quoted the price for parts and labor, I think that it was considerably less than we would have been charged at many places. He drove to the parts place, got the part, and had it installed in just over an hour. It was probably the easiest car repair we'd ever had. The great thing was that no waiting in repair shop waiting rooms was required, and we were able to be at home to meet another contractor for an estimate at the same time. We will definitely use his services again for any other auto repairs and maintenance that we have in the future.

Sadly, the shop uses appointments like doctors. Where appointments are for patients, but not for the attending physician. So, I waited a couple of days to get the appointment, and had the truck towed in before the specified time. They never called me, I called them, ONLY to be informed, they never got to my vehicle and it would be the next business day it would be looked at. The shop was closed for the weekend, ugh! I waited until later the Monday afternoon, still no call from them. So, I called again. And, got informed they couldn't look at my vehicle until Tuesday because they were short handed. I finally got a call on Tuesday the truck was ready. When I asked about getting a discount due to the truck languishing in their shop for 2 days, (plus the weekend they were not open). They got really pissy with me about me being irritated due to not getting my truck back "sooner". I was charged the full price. No apologies, MY RECOMMENDATION, IS TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
