First, the good: they replaced our radiator on a Saturday evening at 7pm for which we were thankful. (The reason more than one star rating) Second, the somewhat bad: they took three hours for something my fellow Element owners say should take less than 30 minutes at a rate of $100/hr. Third, the really bad: they charged us $65 for a $4 thermostat gasket, $279 for a $183 radiator and $49.95 for $15 coolant, all purchased at AutoZone (and they refused to give a receipt for warranty purposes). In summary; it took much longer than it should have and they took advantage of our situation. read more

We discovered a nail in one of our tires while driving on the Florida turnpike after a tire sensor notification came on. GEICO would've taken an hour + to have someone come to the rest stop we pulled over to. My husband decided to put on the spare and we googled nearest tire repair shop. H & D was the 2nd choice but with the highest google rating. I called to confirm they repair tires and explained that we picked up a nail. The polite man that answered the phone confirmed they do repair tires. We mapped the location which is directly off the highway. We arrived there within about 15mins and were quickly greeted by a polite man. He suggested we wait inside the office with AC rather than standing outside. He quickly plugged the leak and even aired up our spare tire. The cost was $25. Within 10 minutes we were back on the road! We were so fortunate it happened during the day rather than at night. Although their hours show open until 8pm. Should you need a quick tire plug or patch, you'll be happy if you chose these guys! We were! Way to go guys! read more

This place is awesome. We had a blowout on our RV and pulled off the road almost across the street from H&D. Response was quick and courteous. The service truck driver changed the flat and lead us back to the shop where he immediately started putting a new tire on the rim. We had already had one blowout on this trip so we were hoping to make it back home, but a second blowout happened a hour and a half from our house. We bought two more tires and glad we did as the two remaining originals would not have gotten us very much farther down the road, if you are going to have a blowout, across from H&D is the perfect place! read more

Traveling south on I75, we were motioned by a pickup driver to exit. We stopped at the Pilot and observed our driver side rear tire on our 40' fifth wheel was smoking. We drove across the street to H & D Service. The service techs there were very friendly and helpful. They fixed our wheel bearing issue and we were on the road again. This happened on a Saturday no less. We offered to get the bearings ourselves and glad we did. The bearings were badly damaged and you could not read the part numbers on them. Because we were familiar with the manufacturer of our trailers axle system, I was able to google it and found the proper part numbers on the internet with my iPad. We picked them up at O'Reilly's Auto Parts store and brought them back to H & D Services. Our technician, John was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The amount they charged us was very fair. read more

If breaking down on I-75 can be a good experience, we had it thanks to these two guys. Radiator hose on 2012 Prius V was severed by pavement debris. Limped to this place at 7 am. & called. They opened at 8 & we were back on the road by 9:15 am. Cost of about $90. read more
