My red 1986 350 Nissan sat on his lot for 6 years Had it towed there  and back still not running Gave him 2 payments. never ask for more so I told him no more money till he gets it running he then tells me he gets 250.00 an hour so I had to get my car towed back. I've had my BMW for 7 years and about 100k miles. I have mechanically worked on them multiple times in my past as I enjoy it. So basically my Service Engine Soon light turns on and my car starts riding rough. I know a little bit about cars and it felt like it was an O2 sensor issue, I ensure my car's issues are always checked immediately as I like having a really smooth running car. Okay, I'm in Ocala so I went to get it checked out, I'm assuming it was the owner since he was the older gentleman in the office. He states it is the 02 sensor triggering the the SES light along with misfires. He claims I need both 02 sensors replaced but that wont fix the problem, I also need the spark plugs changed as well as the engine coils changed since he stated those showed up when running the car's codes. This is all to a cool price of $1700, Seems iffy to me so I decline it. I take my car back to Orlando and went back to my BMW mechanic for the past 7 years. He finds there is a problem with 1 o2 sensor and apparently it got pulled off while I driving and there were no misfire codes just the o2 sensor one. It was replaced for $400 and now my car is running absolutely back to normal. Never coming back here again, and I highly suggest nobody else does either. And anyone who has well I absolutely implore you to get a second opinion. I'm a very well off doctor but I hate being taken advantage of. I'd rate 0 stars if I could. Super scammy mechanic and I'd tell everyone to stay away if I could. Oh and also I know some local people who have been to him and they told me very similar stories but unfortunately they told me about them after I went. I wish I never did. I have had two classic Mercedes over the past 8 years. There have been three local mechanics working on the various problems classic cars have. I have spent more money with all three on items that have never been fixed, i.e. car not starting, suspension problems, brakes, etc. Then I went to Autobahn. Aside from his being quite busy, all work performed by Seth and his crew has been thorough and properly completed. My cars have never operated so well. If you're in a rush with a complicated problem, not the place to go. But if you want a job well done at a price that is fair, Autobahn is the best choice in Marion County. John K read more

My 2003 S Class started to have serious Computer issues and not starting . Seth was very professional and stated these problems can and do happen but he said he would do his very best to correct it. Neither of us knew how complicated and frustrating it would become. Went in for a turn signal switch replacement, never fixed it. They said they received the wrong one and that the correct one would be in in a few days. They did offer to fix my hard top convertible roof, which they did, but had to take back after two days due to roof not closing. They then, said that they performed two processes that I didn't request: an oil change and wheel speed sensors. I never asked for that. So, I was still charged $2600 for a roof and two jobs I didn't ask for, yet still no turn signal switch. So I did my own diagnostic on the car and the codes still came up that I need wheel speed sensors. Tried calling, no response. If you want bad service, bring your Mercedes here...they will adhere to your needs. read more

I just had repair work completed on my Mercedes ML320. When I called for an appointment and to explain the problem with my car, the technician (Seth) knew exactly what the problem was! They took my car in immediately and in 24 hours I had my vehicle returned with repairs completed! In my opinion I had the necessary repairs completed for 1/3 the cost that a Mercedes Benz service center would have charged! Excellent communication while they had my vehicle! The staff was very nice and, after spending quite a while looking at my car, they didn't charge me because they couldn't find anything wrong. They blamed it on the computer and sent me on my way. By the time I got home the car smelled hotter than ever and the temperature gauge was rising. I had a road trip planned for the next day and if I had taken it I would've ended up stranded on the side of the road at best because it turns out there was a hole in my radiator and a leak in my water pump. In addition, the place where I ended up the next day quoted me a hundred dollars less on replacing my spark plugs. Customer service is all well and good, but when my car's engine and my safety are at risk, I will choose to go somewhere that knows what they are doing. read more

This place is GREAT! Having bought my first Mercedes, and pre-owned at that...I was frankly terrified at what I would pay for a reasonably simple repair. I knew I wasn't going to drive to Orlando or Sanford to the dealership..$185/hr if I recall. So, I tried Autobahn and was totally impressed right away. Friendly, straightforward, knowledgeable AND Honest!! Can you believe that, an honest mechanic working on high end German luxury vehicles...Tis True! ; ) The work, the price, the familiarity with the car are all highly rated! First time I was there to get new brakes, he could have sold me new brakes..instead he took off the tires, checked and returned to say...wait for it, You dont need brakes..these are fine! Just a little tweak and your squeek is gone. Highly Highly recommend these guys. Headed back to replace a vent on the dash and I am Golden!
