First time reviewer here, but I was compelled to say how much I love Saved by the Wine. I am not much of a wine drinker, but the food here is up with the best in Summit County. I have eaten most everything on the menu, which changes, but its all amazing. The meatballs are some of the best i've ever had, and I have eaten A LOT of meatballs, and I highly recommend the chicken salad croissant as well as the pot pie...and don't get me started on the desserts. Ok do get me started - they are all incredible. The wine berry pie slice, the skillet cookie, the fondue are all staples and I would just say get them all. They usually rotate in special desserts as well and I have never been disappointed. The owners are locals and are just the best, the staff is great, and the views out back are spectacular. I don't drink much but i am not ashamed to say that i love the Froze, and they make an absolute top notch expresso martini. Would give it more stars if i could. read more

I've been a Summit local for three years and Saved by the Wine is one of the few places in the county I can truly call "home". The staff is kind and passionate about serving everyone who comes in their doors to the best of their ability. The food is always fantastic and the wine is amazing as well. We went here last night as we love, wine bars and we're really excited to see the high ratings. this place had. They environment inside is nice and there is a reasonable variety of wine. We had 8 3oz tasted, most of it was moderate quality at best. Unfortunately, the food is downright terrible. I had their special sesame seared tuna small plate, and it came out cold and very fishy. And today. my stomach is grumbling so that isn't great because a plenty of raw fish and never have a problem. My husband had the vegetarian pot pie which they raved about and it was just OK. I was still hungry so I ordered the black truffle gnocchi and it was a mushy and disgusting. The descriptions of the food sound really good but the execution is just pretty poor. Service is friendly though fairly slow. Never saw the waitress after she took our initial orders, so I had to go up to the bar to order the gnocchi. I'd consider still going back to this place if it wasn't for the poor food quality. read more

Found this place because it happened to be close to where we were staying and I absolutely loved the vibe here. Great food, great ambiance and great service. We had the escargot and mushrooms (our favorite dish). So yummy and the bread was so fresh and delicious. Also had the gnocchi - also very good but rich! The wedge was one of the best wedges I've had in a while. The wine was so good and so were the cocktails. Will definitely be going back! read more

I have been to a lot of places, but this was awesome. So welcoming and inclusive, all types of families and couples and friends enjoying the wine and food. Great place! Very good choice of vines, including vine by glass, but what is absolutely fantastic - food. Baked French Brie - this is majestic piece of art! Black truffle gnocchi - extraordinary! And do not skip desserts too. It is a small place, may be crowded, but very nice restaurant to spend evening (or two). Really very nice addition to our ski vacation. We stopped by after dinner and really enjoyed this wine bar. The owner talked to us about the various wines paired with homemade pastries. The pairings we tried did not disappoint! We had a Chilean Rose paired with a berry pastry and a local Cab Franc (from Continental Divide) paired with a chocolate snowball. So delicious! This is a trendy wine bar with a limited menu. Waiter was friendly and fairly knowledgable about wine. They could improve the presention and quality of their food, especially for the price. I would like to see them be successful and would suggest more attention to detail, rather than just a piece of pot pie alone on a plate. This wonderful local wine bar has a wonderful wine selection, delicious food, and unbeatable views of Dillon and the mountains beyond! Aaaaaa-mazing! We got a bottle of wine, the charcuterie board and 2 hot pockets to go. Everything was DELICIOUS! We didn't even eat the hot pockets for a few hours, re-heated them at home and they were STILL amazing! Flaky crust, delicious filling.
