I had a wonderful experience with Save on Kitchens from start to finish. With working with Anna to the guys that worked in my house. They treated my kitchen as if it was their own kitchen. I was given a two to three week time frame and that was spot on. We had are cabinets refaced, floors done & countertops done. I also had an empty spot in my kitchen that they built new cabinets for. Let me tell you my kitchen looks AMAZING. They went above and beyond my expectations. When I saw the final work done I almost cried it looked so amazing. SHORT VERSION: This company is dishonest and disorganized. Poor communication! They do not honor their promises: verbal or written! Took my money and ran! Avoid! LONG VERSION: We paid Save on Kitchens $15,000 to reface our kitchen cabinets and replace our counters. Vince wrote the contract up as a 2 week job: 1st week for cabinets and 2nd week for counters. He literally wrote "2 weeks" on our contract. It has to be done this way because the cabinets have to be completed so that the counter measurements are accurate (MORE ON THIS LATER). Job was supposed to start day after Memorial Day 2022. We received a call from Anna THE DAY BEFORE THE START DATE that the job would be delayed a week because the installer got Covid. She said she would give us a discount due to the delay since our kitchen was already emptied out (NEVER HAPPENED!) We explained that we understood things happen and agreed to work to start the following week. What we didn't know was that Anna and Vince weren't moving the start date up a week. They decided to CUT THE AGREED 2 WEEK SCHEDULE IN HALF without ANY communication with us. As a side note, neither Anna nor Vince manage the workers. For some reason, 2 different installers called us fighting over who was going to start the job. How is this our responsibility? We complained about this with Anna who said she would manage it better (NEVER HAPPENED!) They basically thought they could have the reface and the counter measure happen at the same time to get everything done in one week. Instead they did a half-way right job in one week and spent more time the following week trying to fix mistakes (unsuccessfully). As a result of trying to get everything done in one week, the counters were measured while the cabinets were still being refaced. So, of course the final cut counters did not fit for 2 of the 3 sections being replaced. We contacted Anna right away when there was a half inch gap next to our stove and a 1 inch gap next to the refrigerator. Anna tried to gaslight us into accepting it as normal because they did not want to have to remount the sink and disconnect/reconnect the plumbing. We finally got Anna to agree to replace that counter but (per their usual lack of communication) we had no idea when it would be done. They sent the counter team over on Friday of that week. Because they were in a rush, they slipped with the blade used to cut the glue used for the original mount and put a long gash into our brand new sink. Also, since counter installers don't do plumbing and because Anna didn't schedule the cabinet installer to reconnect the plumbing, they were planning on leaving us without a kitchen for the weekend! I again had to stress out and get Vince on the phone to agree to send someone out that day. The other counter was not replaced and has almost no lip like the other counters. It's almost flush with the cabinets. That means that the cabinets have NO PROTECTION against spills. It's only a matter of time before this $15,000 job has to be done AGAIN. Other problems included: * Doors of different sizes * Rough cuts around cabinets * Trash can lids don't clear the cabinets * Trash can pullout squeaks like crazy since a week after install * Dishwasher screws and anchors fell out from being reused for 2nd install After the entire ordeal was done. I sent Save on Kitchens the final payment with a long letter about how chaotic the whole project was and how we were NOT HAPPY with paying FULL PRICE for HALF of what was AGREED. Vince and Anna cashed the check AND NEVER RESPONDED despite being able to reach us by phone, email, and text. That was a year ago! We're still expecting half our money back! And let me be clear that the problem with Save on Kitchens is fully on Anna and Vince. Vince pretty much disappeared after the contract was signed. Anna was always quick to blame the installers for her failure to manage this project and communicate with us what was going on. The installers were great people who were forced to work outside of normal practices and held to the impossible task of making things perfect in half the time. If you were thinking about hiring Save on Kitchens, DON'T! If you're in the grace period to cancel your contract, CANCEL IT! If you're stuck with them, I'M SORRY! read more

We we're lucky to find Vince and the team at Save on Kitchens. It helped us do exactly that. We purchased a home built in the 1950's that had original solid wood, built in cabinetry. Through the remodel process, we modified the sink cabinet to fit an undermount farmhouse sink and modified the cabinets above our stove for a new range hood with enough clearance for our new gas stove. Needless to say, with all of these modifications many of the doors didn't fit. That's where Save on Kitchens comes in. We purchased new doors and drawers from them and they installed everything. So we got all new doors and drawers that look great with top of the line hinges and glides at a fraction of the cost of new cabinetry. Vince and team are trustworthy and do really good work. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and would recommend going this route instead of buying all new cabinetry. read more

We have been discussing getting our kitchen redone, but the couple times we were ready to pull the trigger, the contractors really didn't help us navigate the entire process. Then came Vince and Save On Kitchens. He did our neighbors place, so I had the opportunity to see first hand the work that had been done, and liked it, so we set up a meeting. Save on Kitchens are THE BEST! We have used them twice for new and refinished kitchen cabinets, and my son has used them for new cabinets as well. Vince is a pleasure to work with (friendly and informative) and Anna was always on top of things re: communications, and she even helped with the delivery to be sure everything was perfect (which it was). Beware of Save on kitchens!!!! Vince and Anna these people are so unprofessional it is unbelievable. I been saving my money to update my kitchen for 3 years!! We ordered cabinets and waited almost 3 months for them to come in. They delivered them to our home and I asked them did you guys check them before delivery. They said we don't but these are custom cabinets, which is a lie they are standard built. After I paid them with a cashiers check, my installer and crew came a few days later to install them, he told me to return them that they are built very poorly! A lot of loose parts, cracks, thin boards, uneven doors, nails and staples sticking out and there is Chinese writing on the side of the cabinets! I called vince and told him what's going on with the cabinets and that they are not what was shown to us when we did the order and I want my hard earned money back! He said he was coming the following Thursday to pick them up but I was going to lose 250 for the drawing and I said that's fined. They never showed up and disappeared! I had to keep on contacting them for two weeks until they finally answered and anna said that she's coming out to see them. She came and said for us to install them and they will fix only the visible front parts. I told her, you sent me a message saying you were coming to pick them up and refund my money she said well there's no refunds we're not doing that because they are custom built which is a lie. They are standard built and should be refunded. They are not custom by farrrrr!!! What scammers bait and switch! They are still not installed and I will receive all my money back. My wife and I have been looking forward to the update and got robbed. How could these people sleep at night knowing they ruined our happy moment!!! read more

My wife and I highly recommend Save on Kitchens. The owner Vince was fantastic to work with and was able to work within our budget. Our contractor was Ozzie. He was a one man show. Ozzie gave many useful ideas would never would of thought about. Great to work with and very personable. Friends would tell us how kitchen remodeling will take twice as long as they tell you and end up costing more, however, Vince estimated the remodel would take 4 weeks start to finish and he nailed it as it took exactly 4 weeks. The price he quoted was exactly what we paid. If you are considering remodeling your kitchen you need to consider Vince with Save on Kitchens to do the remodel.
