Hire Best Home Renovations! We interviewed and got bids from at least 8 other companies for our bathroom remodeling project so we knew a lot about what to expect. Steve Best (the owner), and all of his employees, exceeded all our expectations hands down. Steve's quote was the best (pun intended), but that's the least of our satisfaction with Steve. We had a dozen of questions before signing with Steve and he was very responsive in answering and providing the information we needed in order to make our final decision to sign with him. He arranged a starting date and sent Dave to do the demolition and rough in the shower. Dave arrived on time (there's a surprise if you've worked with other contractors). Dave was friendly and without doubt the cleanest contractor I've ever seen. He explained what he was going to do and what the next stages were in the project. When he finished for the day, the work area and the rest of the house were spotless. We ordered the tile and Steve picked it up for us. He called us on Sunday night to asked about our selection. We had made a huge error in our size selection and Steve wanted to talk with us about it. Clearly we made a big mistake and Steve wanted to be sure we rethought our choice before installation. We picked out the correct tile and Steve returned our error - without charge. Rebecca is Steve's customer service representative and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was timely in her response and I could tell that she really enjoyed her work because she worked hard to make our experience with Best Home Renovations a satisfactory one. Steve and his crew were very friendly, helpful in guiding us through our project, providing us with suggestions (tile design, grout color, shelf and soap dish location), and once again, very clean and respectful of our home. We've worked with a number of contractors in the past and Best is at the top of our list. This is a quality company lead by a quality individual that is reflected in his work and his employees. We were extremely satisfied with the bathroom renovation completed by Best Home Renovations. We had an extensive job done with all tile, fixtures, vanity, lighting, exhaust fan, bath & shower, and toilet removed and replaced. It turned out beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Every person who entered our home was professional, courteous. The lead person on our project was Alex. He is the nicest guy, and truly cares about his work. He was meticulous every step of the way. He is knowledgeable about everything and is truly an expert at the many things he does. Rebecca Rohan is the office manager and liaison to the clients. She made sure we were always up to date with scheduling of each phase, and is an excellent communicator. She was very good about answering our questions and always returned calls or emails quickly. We just finished a Master Bath renovation in a 1987 constructed home. It was the original bath and was in need of a thorough remodel. I was very pleased with the ease with which the project progressed. Steve was hands-on from the beginning. Steve was easy to work with, easy to talk to and accommodated my in-process design changes without issue. Steve's crew were equally as polite and efficient as Steve. His painter (Paul?) worked minor miracles painting the stained trim white. It looks fantastic. Perhaps the best part of the process was the constant communication with Rebecca! Always informative. Excellent workmanship and timely completion. Steve and Alex were dependable and efficient. But here's what's really impressive: They offered to come back to install our mirror - one that I put off ordering and finally received weeks later. Would they really come back even though we had paid in full? Yes!! I don't know about you, but we've had great difficultly with other companies returning after final payments have been made.
