Our experience with the Kitchen Master has been fantastic. We had them rework our master bathroom. We couldn't be more happy with the results and the five year warranty is something you just don't find anywhere else. Several years ago, our house caught fire by a lightning strike and to make a long story short, the builder hired to rebuild it came up short on the quality and workmanship side of things. My wife and I were not happy with the results they left us with, so we hired a different company to come in and "fix" the bath. I won't name them, but they were even worse than the builders we originally had. So at this point we had an unusable master bath that was worked on twice and cost us thousands of dollars. We found the Kitchen Master and liked what we saw on their web page so we contacted them to help us with our hopeless master bath once and for all. From our first meeting with our designer, Anna, everything just went unbelievably smoothly. She guided us through all of our selection choices and helped us to pick out the items we were on the fence about, right in their showroom. The actual demolition and re-construction work was completed by Josh. We've dealt with quite a few contractors over the years and unfortunately, most of them we were not happy with but Josh was terrific. A professional through and through, he had the knowledge to get the work done quickly and at a high level of quality. Everything that was done, all the tile work, the custom glass shower and the installation of our new vanity counter looks absolutely amazing. His attention to detail was remarkable and the work he did to get things done right, did not go unnoticed by us. Tom our project manager, always kept us up to date with scheduling the work, and was in constant contact with us to let us know what would happen with the job at any given time. He was a great point of contact and never failed to answer our questions and return our calls or emails. We always knew what was happening with our remodel and never felt out of the loop in any way. Everyone we worked with at the Kitchen Master treated us with respect and put us at ease with their knowledge and level of professionalism. From the start we felt like we were in good hands. If and when we decide to remodel another bathroom, we will not hesitate to call on them. It's nice to finally feel like we've found a high quality team to work with that we can trust. Today I got a new stove with a control panel in the front, so no raised back . I was shocked to see that Kitchen-master left a gap in the tile trim ! we also used them for a MBR remodel - had to have them come back for cracking mortar and towel rack kept falling out of wall - They returned twice to fix it, but it kept falling out. We ended up leaving it out and repairing the drywall. read more

My mom asked for a quote for her kitchen. Someone came out and verbally said it would be $40K but with no detail or formal quote. They never followed up with her and she had to call. The person who answered said that the salesperson was out on an emergency- which is okay. However, she finally got a call back. Joseph still only gave a verbal estimate- only saying "it would be what I said" but never emailed any proposal. My mom Felt like they never really wanted her business. She will be doing her kitchen but not with these folks. I guess her 40k will be appreciated elsewhere. read more

For the 20 years we have been in our house, we used The Kitchen Master for our kitchen, our master bathroom, our hall bathroom and the best damn mud room you will ever see. Jennifer is an extraordinary designer and Ted is a perfectionist who will make sure his team delivers top notch work. For our first project, the kitchen, we ordered the cabinets through The Kitchen Master but had our own contractor install them. Big mistake! A few years later when Ted came to the house for the next project, he was so disappointed with how my contractor hung the kitchen cabinets that he fixed them for me. I've never used anyone else since. We haven't had a major project in about 5 years but when I decided to sell my house, I needed a few things fixed to make everything look great. Some water damage below the sink had warped that cabinet, a toe kick was beyond a simple touch-up, and then I broke a glass pane in one of the kitchen cabinets 2 weeks before showings were to start. Ted and his team hopped right on it when I called. They didn't have to do that. My work wasn't going to be a big money maker and I'm moving out of state so there isn't the promise of a lot of work in my next house. But none of that mattered. Ted and his team made me feel like they always make me feel - like my project was the most important one in the world. read more

A search for kitchen and bath designers led me to The Kitchen Master and Adam Hartig, and I could not be more grateful. I found Adam and the KM staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Adam listened to our ideas and made them unspeakably better by supplementing our ideas with his own designs and inspiration. Adam is creative beyond measure and completely ahead of the curve when it comes to solutions for challenging spaces. After our initial meeting at the KM offices followed by a round or two of designs, Adam came out to our house to review the space before making the final design. So glad that he did, because this resulted in some final tweaking that made all the difference. Adam's sound advice and lovely suggestions were the driving force for a modern kitchen in our suburban home. The finished space is a complete joy and every day when I walk downstairs to prepare my morning coffee, I am giddy and delighted. Very, very disappointed. As a result of poor project management and lack of coordination between Kitchen Master and their granite fabricator we ended up with an expensive granite countertop that was mis-cut and no options since it was the last piece of granite in the color we wanted. As a result by relying on Kitchen Master to properly do what they claimed they would do, we ended up having to accept a layout that was not our preference nor what we contracted to have installed. In the end we paid full price and did not get what we wanted. We've had granite installed previously so we know what can be done when things are properly planned and done correctly. We didn't get that from Kitchen Masters. There are better choices. We will definitely not use them ever again. read more

I had my kitchen remodeled back in May June 2012 and they were fantastic. Ted, the owner helped us design our kitchen. He keep us in the budget ballpark as well. We put in a charging station, removed a wall, moved the sink in front of a window (my favorite) We also had to raise the window to do this. He helped me pick out colors, he steered me the whole way. He also wasn't afraid to tell me if something I suggested wasn't going to work. We installed lighting, had to also raise a door jam, put in hardwood floors and moved a refrigerator. It was done in about 7 weeks. I really have no complaints about the whole process. I love this store and it is very likely I will make a purchase here. However I am giving 2 stars to bring to attention a negative experience with a staff member in this location. Upon entry, the main receptionist was very kind and welcomed us to the store. As we entered the store where the first white kitchen is, another employee came and asked us, "did you put sanitizer when you entered?" We politely told her we put our own before we came in and she said, "no, please go back and put on the one we have in the entry because you touched the door when you came in." I still have no issue about this, after all, better safe than sorry and we went back to sanitize our hands for our safety and the safety of others. Once we did that she asked how she could help us. We told her we are looking for ideas to remodel our home and we wanted to see the displays. Then the woman said, "this store is not like other stores where you can just come inside to get ideas. You can come inside to look at our displays but we are not like other stores where you can just get ideas on what to do, so when you come inside you are not allowed to take photographs of the models, you can only see." So I told her, "well we want to see the models because if we like one then we might make a purchase from here for our home." So she replied, "well unlike other stores, you also cannot make a purchase here and walk out with the materials. You need to place an order and you'll receive it in 2 to 3 weeks" (like any other store).So we said ok and we left it at that. We walked around and we liked a lot of what we saw and we are considering making a purchase here, however, the attitude displayed by that staff member is rude and pretentious. Did she just make assumptions that we could not afford buying there? What was it? We can't take photographs? Well the photos of the displays are online! What photo could we possibly take that is not already online? Is this store exclusive for Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos kind of people that how dare we just come in to get ideas or take a photograph? I had Joseph Kiselyk over to my home to discuss remodeling the master bathroom. I explained to Joseph the budget that I had and he assured me that he would be able to get my master bathroom project complete within my budget. A few days later I received an email from Joseph with an estimated cost and it was literally double my budget! I emailed him back and asked him to send me a detailed estimate showing each and every charge so I could see how much was going towards materials (and what materials he selected), labor, etc. Joseph never bothered to email me back and he never sent me the estimate that showed how he arrived at the amount that he did. Speaking from my experience with Joseph, I would suggest looking somewhere else for your home improvement needs. Which I did, and we got it done within my budget! read more

We are so thrilled with our newly remodeled master bath that was designed and constructed by The Kitchen Master. We first worked with Adam Hartig to come up with a design that would get rid of an ugly, dated whirlpool bath and optimize the square footage available. We had earlier worked with another designer without success, so we were not optimistic about our options. Adam understood what we wanted right away and came up with a design that gave us almost everything we wanted. He was also able to make our materials selection process easier by pre-selecting options that were in keeping with our tastes. We were able to move through the design and selection process pretty quickly, which was essential to completing our project within an important deadline. Tom Myers, the construction superintendent and his crew were great. All of those that worked in our home were respectful of the premises and our privacy. Tom kept us fully informed of the next steps in the construction process, which was very important and helpful to us. Communication and scheduling were excellent. Our carpenter was Tim, and he did a great job. He and Tom found some creative solutions to a few framing issues, and the end result is beautiful. Our installer was Mark. We cannot praise his craftsmanship enough. There was a lot of tile work required in our bathroom, and the varying sizes created "opportunities" for several options in terms of lining up the various sizes and types to create a cohesive look. Mark outlined the options, sought our opinions, and executed the decisions flawlessly. Mark is pickier than we are, and we are grateful for that! We would not hesitate to use The Kitchen Master for any other remodeling projects in our home. read more

We had Kitchen Maters out on March 7th, 2015. Joe came to our house he was nice and courteous. He did tell us up front that it would be $40,000 and if we didn't want to spend that much it was a waste of time for him to quote the job. We told him to go ahead and everything seemed to be going well till the end of our meeting when we mentioned we had other people coming in to quote the job. His whole attitude changed and he gave us the impression he thought it was a done deal and he automatically had the job. He left said we would here back from him in a week or two. It is now 7 weeks later and we never heard a work from them. Since writing this review the owner called me to tell me that they had tried to contact me. He sent me the e-mails they had tried to send me that I never received. He said they apparently they had the wrong e-mail address. He did offer to come out and give us some suggestions about our bathroom project even if we chose not to use Kitchen Masters. read more

The Kitchen Master and their expert craftsman Mike did a great job remodeling our dark, enclosed 80's kitchen. To save money, they refaced our old wood cabinets with new doors, re-purposed some of our Corian counter tops, opened a wall to the dining room and installed a beautiful island with storage and seating for four. We now have a beautiful bright, light French country kitchen which everyone admires. read more

Adam is the best. I had a very positive experience with no surprises. He understood my style right away. Adam was very thorough with my quote. I never had to "upgrade" and pay more, as is common in remodeling. He answered all of my questions and was always a phone call or text away. Tom was the person who oversaw the day to day happenings during the remodel. He also answered my texts or picked up the call right away if I had any questions. My home was left clean (as much as it can be during a remodel) everyday. He was very nice and always wanted to make sure I was satisfied. It has been about 9 months since the remodel, and I still LOVE it. Although pricey, I think you get what you pay for. read more

The service is terrible. I had been waiting for the bench top more than six weeks! And after that I had to wait another two weeks for splash back measurement and another two weeks for installation. I just cancelled splashback as I had enough. The tap was missing for four weeks in their store and no one could find it. I complain to their manager but he did nothing! Never waste your time buying kitchen from them. I bough it from Hawthorn branch. read more
