I needed some fascia repaired on the side of the house. I had multiple companies come out and quote the repair, but most of them wanted to repair much more than necessary or the scope of the job was too small for them to provide me a quote. I reached out to Pro-Home Services after I was referred to them through a company that worked on my chimney. Pro-Home got back to me quickly and set up a time for an inspection. They quoted me the repair I was looking for and also provided me a separate quote for other, miscellaneous repairs. Everything was reasonable priced and when I pulled the trigger, I was scheduled promptly with the job being finished just a quick. They did a great job and took plenty of pictures of the progress. Communication was a little spotty, and I wasn't aware there was a processing fee for paying with a credit card. But overall I was satisfied with the experience. I do not recommend this company at all!! They deserve negative 0 stars!! I contacted Pro Home Services Inc. after they were referred to me by Superior Chimney, who inspected my chimney for water seepage to the front of my fireplace. Superior concluded that my issue appeared to be a roofing issue, not a chimney issue, and that the likely solution to repair the leaking problem was to have a roofer install a diverter. I asked the rep if he knew of a roofer and he said his company typically recommended Pro Home for roofing issues. I contacted Peter, the owner of Pro Home, and explained to him what Superior had related. Peter sent his rep, Ivan, over on 10/11/23, who inspected the front of my fireplace and the roof. Ivan concluded that he had found the leak in the roof and that he could repair it. Peter also said the roof did not need a diverter, and sent me an estimate for $1,400 which was later reduced to $1,300 because I had my own shingles. Ivan came back the next day, 10/12/23, inspected my shingles and said he could use them for the repair, and competed the work. On 1/10/24, the leak returned after a very wet, slushy snowfall, and I called Peter, who sent Ivan back out to my house. After this inspection, Ivan stated he could not find the leak. When I then talked to Peter, he said leaks can be tricky and hard to find. Then he added, even if I sent Ivan to your house 10 times he probably wouldn't find the leak! When Peter said that, I asked for half my money back, due to the fact that the leak was not repaired, but the effort was made to repair the issue. Peter refused stating over and over that he did nothing wrong and that the leak is a chimney issue. So I asked Peter, if you knew you probably couldn't fix the leak why did you accept the job? And since you did not fix it, regardless of if it was a chimney issue or not, you consented to take the job and fix the leak. And since you didn't fix it, you owe me a refund. Even after I attempted to resolve this issue through mediation methods (Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office), Peter still refuses to process a refund, but least these agencies have been notified of his behavior. The bottom line is Peter said he could repair the leak, I paid him, he didn't fix the problem, and therefore I expect a refund. So when dealing with Pro Home Services Inc, please be cautious because Peter does not appear to be a man of his word. And the saga continues... read more

I've done many remodels over the years (my kitchen, bathrooms, roof, siding, etc) so i have dealt with a fair number of contractors over the years. My advise to the reader is don't trust your home to this company ie peter. They are at the bottom of my list with any contractor i've ever dealt with. I don't feel that peter is an honest person because when i explained to him my issue on a project he told me he would take care of it and gave me the run around. I just kept calling and leaving voicemails while he ignored us. When i called from another number he answered and said he would come over to talk and never showed up. This was years back and and i was curious so i googled the company and saw jason p's review which is the same type of issue i had. I never heard from him again. They did a reaonable job of roof and siding. Until we a had a heavy downpour three months ago. We lost all our sheetrock and hardwood floors. Peter and his team were very careful and considerate of our whole family who was​ home during the work. The ​windows look great and are already out-performing our 100+-year-old​ windows. The exterior work looks great and they customized it to our 1893 brick Victorian. I reached out to Pro-Home twice about a roof repair job following a rain storm. First time, I was given an automated option of getting a call back because the phone queue was long. I opted for this option and never received a call back. The second time I called, I reached a live answering service who took down my information, job details and location and promised a call back the same day. No call back. Called Pro-Home Services to get my roof leaked checked out. The consultant Steve, came on time to check my roof. Showed him what the leaked was doing inside my house and he went on the roof to asses the problem. He showed me where the leak was coming from and emailed me back with a proposal within 24 hours. I was thinking finally I was going to get this leaked fixed. I emailed Steve back to accept the proposal so they can start the process of fixing my roof. I waited two days and no email back from him. I called him the third day to leave a message but he never called back. Waited a few more days to email him back to see if I can get a response but no communication at all. I continued this process for the next two weeks and never heard from Steve again. I thought I was final going to get this roof leak fix so I can stop it from getting worst but now here I am looking for a professional roofing company to help me out. I think the reason I never heard from Pro-Home Services and Steve because the project didn't cost me thousands of dollars. I would've appreciated honesty from Steve saying the job was too small for them. People stay away from this company because they will just waste your time and give you false hope.
