Licitra has a once a year free roof for a needy or struggling family, its called "No roof left behind". We were the lucky winners of the 2017 roof. First they respected our privacy, there was no pr circus they just acted professionally they kept in touch ask what product a color we desired and scheduled a install date. We had only 1 layer of tiles on the roof so to just reshingle over that would have been fine but they did a complete tear off and I can tell you they did a beautiful job. My neighbors are older so they watch when you have work done they were very impressed and also commented what a great job they did no screwing around came did the job and finished it. They were truly a gift from above with the luck we have had lately with my wife's job and my failing health, it nice to know in a world you see so many bad things there are still good people who help out the ones struggling. Jonathan came out to look at a flat roof which I was told needed to be replaced before winter by another company and inspect the flashing around my chimney. Response time was quick, he came out within a day or two. First, he looked at the roof and said it had another good couple of years left so he saved me from doing work which was not needed (how rare), and then he looked at the flashing and suggested it be completely replaced. I hired him for what is a small job so he had to fit me in around his larger projects. Not a problem at all as he constantly kept me informed via email when his guys would be available. Easy to work with, honest and very communicative throughout. Not the cheapest price, but no effort to upsell and I felt he was very honest in assessing what was necessary. I had such a positive experience having a new roof and gutters installed on my Mom's house. After having several leaks in the old roof, I called about 10 roofers in the area. Only 3 returned my calls! John went the extra mile, inspected the roof (on a wintery Sunday!) and met with Mom and me to review the options. He was always professional and patiently answered all of our questions. We signed off on the quote and as soon as the weather allowed the roof was installed. I used Licitra 11 years ago and dealt with the elder Licitra at the time, who was very friendly and informative, answering my many questions, and providing a very detailed estimate. His team of workers did an excellent job on the main roof. Now in 2018, I used Licitra again for my front & back porch roofs, and dealt with the son, Jonathon, who was also very pleasant to work with. The work was done by an equally adept crew, who were careful to protect my house & yard, and to clean up well afterwards. What a relief to find professionals who really are, and who show up when they say they will, and who charge fairly for their materials & labor. I recommend them highly. Had a wonderful experience with Licitra last summer. They replaced our entire roof. We were out of town during the work, but they provided pictures of all the work being done and took great care to make sure that our extensive landscaping was not affected in any way. The neighbors kept an eye on them and said that everything was being done to a high standard and the crew was really nice and considerate. I chose Licitra because I noticed that they did the roof for an older neighbor who has lived in the neighborhood for decades and who takes immaculate care of his home. I moved into LaGrange 2 years ago. When I bought the house, the inspector reported we needed roof repairs. My south neighbor had highly recommended Licitra. I called them and Jonathan came by and explained he could replace the chimney flashings bc that was the main source. The other areas were not leaking, but the shingles were deteriorating. Jonathan advised budgeting for a new roof. I felt so comfortable with his knowledge, I did not call anyone else. I had a roofing problem with the flashing around the chimney. I was very impressed with the level of care I received at Licitra. They came out, looked at the problem and fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. They took before and after pictures so I was assured work was done well. When I thought my problem was not fixed, they sent someone out immediately to look at the roof again. They helped me figure out we had a chimney problem and that other avenues needed to be pursued. They were better than any other roofing company I have ever seen. They would start punctually with total concentration on the job and the efficiency of a Commando operation. They placed tarps on both the north and south sides so that there was not one speck of debris in the neighbor's yards. They also identified and replaced various areas of deteriorated underlayment. They completed the total job on time. This was completed in November, and we have not found any defects or errors. read more

I had my garage roof replaced in October of 2017 and my house roof replaced in July of 2018. My garage needed some wood replaced and the crew leader explained other areas that may need some wood replaced. Michael is very easy to work with and very fair. The work crews are very kind and respectful. The clean up was amazing. I am very pleased with their work and refer them to others often. The team arrived ready to work with all equipment to install our gutter guards. They were careful to consult with us before and after the job to make sure we were satisfied. They helped us with flushing a gutter after installing the gutter guards, to be sure we would not have problems in this previously troubled area. They showed us pictures of the installed guards, so we would know what they'd done. They were courteous, friendly and helpful. A+! read more

Needed roof repairs done at my house. I called them in June for a roof leak by my dormer. I had called three companies. Michael at Licitra came out the same day. They were the highest bid but seemed most confident. the crew repaired the roof the following week. I waited a few months to see if the leak was stopped. I wanted a few rains to test it. I called Mike to stop by and talk to me about siding. He stopped by the next day we talked siding and he inspected my roof. He installed the roof nine years ago. Only two shingles slightly up.
