Extremely reliable And reasonable for what they offer . I now see why they are consistently getting 5 stars . Sure, you can get something cheaper but their reliability , punctuality and dedication is something to consider when you book . I needed fool proof , reliable transport in Los Angeles for traveling from the airport to Monterey Park , then from Monterey Park to San Pedro cruise terminal . I thought on the way back I could book two ubers, simply because I didn't know when I could get off and reAlly couldn't give them a pick up time in advance . Well , I was Wrong . Lyft malfunctioned and I couldn't even figure out for half an hour if they would come . I called John ( owner ) and he surprised me to say that he would send someone within twenty five minutes . The person came within twenty five minutes . We were so glad to get our transport to the double tree in El Segundo. The price was very reasonable. The person who came to pick us up at the airport and in Monterey park , arrived 20 minutes early for us !!!! This is the dedication and sincerity I'm talking about . All the drivers were professional , kind and helpful with our luggage . And when I spoke with John for the initial concerns I had , John was so courteous and eager without being pushy about my concerns . The vehicles were very spacious too. They also give you free car seats to use - many other services may tell you that you don't need it . False ! It is the law here to use one , I did check with law enforcement. Getting picked up fromLAX was a little behind with the fog our driver was 30 minutes late. However our return pick up was smooth. Our driver Stacy was amazing. She contacted us before hand asking about what direction our car seats needed to face. She was a few minutes early and very helpful getting us loaded. They came and picked us up the beginning of August to go to LAX. They had wonderful customer service skills, and took time when we did our booking. They went out of there, and very prompt and made sure we had plenty of time to get to the Airport. We were picked up in a Van, very comfortable and made sure all are needs were met. Good communication on email and phone when making reservations. Child seats were included for our two young children, which was nice. The first trip was delayed because the previous customer had a disability issue (so I was told) so there was a 30-minute delay. We budgeted extra time for traveling so it wasn't a big deal. Coming back, the driver was given incorrect pick-up information (wrong city, but fortunately close-by), so there was a 15-minute wait. Service was fine, but there were little glitches that wasted time here and there. But it could have been really bad had we not budgeted extra time. read more

I used Sav-on Shuttle this past weekend for my flight out of LAX. I live very close to the LB airport but could not find a flight to my destination, so LAX it was. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of LAX and I hate driving there, so I avoided asking any friends. Instead, I went on Yelp and found the very positive reviews of Sav-On. My trip to the airport on Friday morning was absolutely fantastic. My driver was Art and he was so incredibly kind and friendly during the whole trip. He was very on time, to my relief, and knew some tricks about maneuvering around the airport to avoid traffic. He was very helpful about tips in regards to the airport since it was my first time flying out. I really enjoyed my trip to the airport, and that's saying something because I hate the airport. For my returning flight home on Sunday, I had booked with Sav-On shuttle to pick me up. My flight was very delayed but when I made the booking, I was told they check up on my flight to see if it is on time/delayed, which is why I gave them all my flight information. Sunday evening I arrived into LAX and received no call from my shuttle driver, which I was told would happen in order to find the meeting place. I walked all over the airport on the first level and the second level, from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 because I was told that was a common area to be picked up from flights. I called the Sav-On shuttle number, which claims to be 24/7 and it went straight to voicemail. I waited at the airport for about 15 more minutes to see if I would receive a call back, and I didn't. I'm not sure if there was an issue or not because my flight was delayed and if I was supposed to somehow call (that wasn't possible because I came from out of the country and had no service), but I was frustrated as my flight came in around 12:30am and I was exhausted from a day of traveling. I ended up using an Uber pool, which was much cheaper than my original trip to the airport with Art. I have mixed feelings regarding Sav-On shuttle because my trip with Art to LAX was absolutely wonderful. However, I wasn't picked up on Sunday evening even though I had scheduled that pick up. Not sure if I would use Sav-On again to be picked up from the airport, but being taken to the airport was very successful. UPDATE: John was so kind to me when he heard I was unable to find my shuttle driver.. He called me almost immediately after I posted my review and explained the situation that my call never went through so they were unable to call me for a meeting place. Just a fluke experience and was definitely resolved. John was very helpful and offered me a free ride for my next airport journey. Definitely will use Sav-On again just because of the amazing customer service. Despite my one fluke experience, I definitely will use Sav-On again. John is incredibly kind and helpful when you make your reservation and their phone number can be called and texted to, which I really appreciate, since my call didn't go through yesterday evening. I would recommend Sav-on shuttle!! I organized a trip for 15 of us students to LA. We booked the dates but had rough estimate times of when and where for pick up and drop off, but John let us solidify the times basically the day before/a few days prior. They're very flexible and will drive you basically anywhere: we stayed in Santa Monica and went to Disney Land, Six Flags, Camarillo Premium Outlets (thanks - it was quite the trip) and also to and from the airport. They were great with our last minute changes, which we had quite a few of: - In the end, one person rented a car so we canceled the double shuttles for some of the days (each shuttle holds 10 max). - There were also times where we called to be picked up earlier than we originally planned and they came as soon as they could - At the far outlet mall, we asked to extend the time and it costed us ~$30 which was fine as we just split it between ourselves - a few dollars each They dealed with all of these last minute things in a polite and professional manner! We got John the first day and he was very funny and welcoming and the rest of the trip we got his wife (sorry I forgot your name). It was very convenient that we got her number for those early and extended pick up times. Driver John picked our group up from Long Beach cruise terminal to take us to the airport. It was a madhouse outside yet he made it easy to find him and the drive was plesant. He has a outgoing, friendly personality and really tries to make things as easy and seamless as possible during quite a bit of chaos. I used Sav-On for a round-trip service to and from LAX with a family of 6 which included 4 adults and 2 young kids at 1 and 3 years old. We had around 4 suitcases, a small stroller, a few small bags and 2 packed carseats. The driver arrived about 15 minutes early for a 7AM pickup. The requested toddler and infant carseats were already installed in the large van and the driver was very helpful with loading and unloading our bags. Upon returning to LAX, I received a text from the driver very soon after our flight landed, advising us that she was at the airport. I texted the driver our exact location outside of the baggage claim area and she was quick to find us and help us load the suitcases into the vehicle. A confirmation call or text the day before the appointment would have been helpful and greatly appreciated. I was able to call and quickly confirm the scheduled appointment with John the evening before the pickup. The overall experience and service was very pleasant and efficient.
