This is a late post but worth it! We've been using LBS for years. Every year in September my mom cruises from Long Beach for her birthday and we exclusively use them. We fly In from Oakland and they're all ways on time. The service is superb! They're very accommodating if we need to make a stop on the way to the cruise ship. They are very knowledgeable about the traffic and ways around it. They drive very safely and offer car/booster seats for children when booking. They're always so friendly and personable. The price for service is excellent. This last trip in September we met 2 ladies on the ship and told them to book with LBS since they were going to the airport at the same time as us. AWESOME service! I used Long Beach shuttle to get from Long Beach Airport to Disneyland and back. I received a confirmation text of my reservation a couple weeks before my trip. My plane was delayed over 2 hours, but my driver, Joseph F was super nice about it (I had forgotten to notify the shuttle of the delay) and picked us up seamlessly. The two car seats I had requested were already installed (yay!). Our whole family enjoyed a spacious ride in a large van all to ourselves. On our return trip to the airport, our flight was delayed and I was able to ask Alex A to arrive 45 minutes later to the hotel to give us more time to sleep and get ready. Again, car seats were installed and Alex arrived a little earlier than expected and was super friendly and helpful. The staff texted and called us the day before to confirm our trip and iron out details and were so so nice. I could pay via credit card with the drivers. Both drivers wore masks the entire trip. It was such a stress-free experience and I am very thankful for this service. read more

We used Long Beach Shuttle to transport a group from Stanford University in 2023 and having had a good experience with John Watts, booked it again in November 2024. The actual service is friendly and reliable, but their business practices leave something to be desired. I was told it would cost 3% extra to use a credit card, so I prepared two envelopes of cash, one for each direction from LGB to Whittier. I gave the envelopes to our driver Alex who promised to give them to John and have him send me a receipt. After multiple texts and phone calls, both to Alex and John over a month, we still have not received a receipt. The amount of time I have spent trying to resolve this is a greater cost that the 3% of $500 total that I saved. My advice to future riders, use your credit card not the cash option. read more

We recently (12/4 & 12/16, 2021) used Long Beach Shuttle for round trip service to and from LAX, which is my least favorite A/P. Since this was a European trip I didn't want to come back tired and have to drive home. Also, this is about the sixth time we have used LB Shuttle and I have not been disappointed; we have used them for the John Wayne A/P, the Long Beach A/P. and for LAX. The owner, John has always responded to my calls and my questions. His drivers have always been on time; both picking us up at home and at the A/P on our return. On this most recent trip, Stacy was our return driver and she was great (in fact she has picked us up before). Stacy drove us home in the rain on the 405 freeway and she was calm and careful with all the crazy drivers changing lanes, and speeding, etc. I would recommend the LB Shuttle service without hesitation. We had a really negative experience with Supper Shuttle a few years ago; we had a prepaid pick up reservation for a late night LAX return and Super Shuttle was a no-show. When my wife called them she was told there were no drivers available! We have been using John's LB Shuttle service ever since. read more

What an awesome experience. Planned on taking an Uber from along Beach to Disneyland area hotel but was astonished to see how much pricing has gone up ($127 for a 20 minute ride) . Called the shuttle last minute and got a private shuttle for my family of 4 at FAR cheaper. Our driver Alex was amazing and very personable. Our flight was delayed but it was never an issue. We used Long Beach Shuttle for our recent Disney trip and had a decent experience. The pick up from the airport was fine and easy but there was little communication day of unless I reached out and called/ texted. They did provide a car seat for our toddler and quickly installed it which was nice. The pick up to go back to the airport was frustrating though. Our driver texted us at 6:45 day of asking if we could be picked up at 7:15 instead of 8 because she had another ride right after us and we agreed to 7:30 even though we had a toddler which makes it hard to change plans so last second. We got down to wait for the car at 7:30 and when no one came by 7:40 I called to see what was going on. Our driver then informed us she had texted us on accident and had actually meant to text the pick up before us. She never called to tell me this, I had to call her. She then informed me there was an accident (totally out of her control and I get that) and wouldn't be there until 8:15. She didn't end up getting there until 8:30. This was all very frustrating especially with the aforementioned toddler in tow and if they had just communicated any issues with us better it would have been fine. Overall they are easy to book with but the communication after the fact is severely lacking. read more

LOVE!! LOVE, everything about Long Beach Shuttle. I needed transportation to the Long Beach Carnival Cruise Port for my self and 3 others from Los Angeles . Which means there was 3 different pick up location for each guest. I'm a extremely careful when I travel and like for everything to go smoothly. John the owner was extremely patient and I called a month , a week, 2 days and even the day before my designated pickup time to make sure every detail was correct and everything will be set up properly. John was patient with me every time that I called. The day of my departure from Los Angeles the driver arrived on time,clean,was informative,professional, courteous and drove drove safely in congested LA traffic The day before our arrival back to the Long Beach Port my cousin, one of my traveling companions, dog died on our last day of cruise. When we arrived back in Long Beach she just wanted to go home. I called John and we were picked up 20 minuets later. Which was almost a hour from the time I scheduled for us to be picked up . I initially did not know that the shuttle service was in Long Beach. I didn't pay attention to the location just the great reviews .The fact that when setting up transportation service the owner was so professional and answered my many questions. I would give them 2.5 stars. We hired Long Beach/Sav On Shuttle for our group of seven people from Orange County to the Long Beach cruise terminal. We had two kids that needed boosters and they provided it no extra charge, which we really appreciate it. Our pick up at our home was at 945 am, but the driver showed up at 9 am, which we appreciated he was early but it made us feel a little rushed because we didn't want him to be waiting so long, since we weren't prepared for pickup until 945. The driver was very nice and the boosters were installed correctly and it was very roomy for 7 people and 6 luggages and there was still plenty of room. It was very clean inside the vans also. I then contacted them 2 days before we arrived back to Long Beach to confirm our pickup at 10:30 am, and he confirmed, so I thought everything would be fine, but when we came out at 10:30 am, I had trouble locating the car that was supposed to pick us up and then so I called them and they said that they were just dropping off someone at the Long Beach airport and would come back for us which I didn't understand since I had confirmed that we would be out at 10:30 AM, so I was disappointed. I called Johnny several times and he did try his best to help me see if he had another shuttle van at the port, but they were all taken. Every time I called he said it would be another 15-20 minutes, so it really tested our patience, especially the kids, that each time he said that. We ended up waiting an hour for the shuttle van to come back. Johnny did give me a discount for the trouble but I would have much rather have them pick us up on time. We understand that the port is super busy, but they should have known too and not to send the driver on an extra run before they were supposed to pick us up. The shuttle van driver, Alex, on the way home was nice, so at least that was good on our way home. I am hesitant to rebook with them again, but I do like their drivers and the size of the shuttle van, but their pickup timing could use some work. read more
