The restaurant is fun and very clean. Our server Christine was super sweet and attentive. She made our first time here memorable. Revisiting my review 10 minutes later as my husband snuck in a Nutella pizza. Sheesh. The flavors here are subtle but powerful. Super simple dessert of dough Nutella and banana and it's so wonderful.

First off, Grapevines Main st. district is jumping. It is what it wants to be... alive and thriving. So this pizza spot has a ton of good reviews. Yes, well deserved. The place is trendy, but casual. The service - extraordinary. The pizza - stone oven flavor, sauced to the edge, cheesey, also to the edge. Crumbly seasoned Italian sausage, oh so savory. Nothing amiss, each component its own bite. This was layer upon layer of its namesake - Extraordinary. That usual layer of grease that sits atop pepperoni? Nope. Just crispy pepps. No greasey layered top or bottom, just great bites, bite after bite. Super light on the tummy as well. This was a dough like no other. It held its own to the toppings without being heavy. Took one home to do a cold test. Yes, just as awesome cold. Reheatable you ask? Yes? Bye. Hope like heck you're thriving in this economy. This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we've ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It's rare we have such a great experience entirely "by accident". We can't wait to go back! Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures :)

The inside reminds me of most of the Tex-Mex themed restaurants in Dallas. The FESTIVE colors, chairs & booth seating, bar photos on the wall. Service to the table was nothing exceptional. After scanning the menu, I ordered the trio fajita which is steak, chicken, and shrimp. I wanted to be able to pick my meat combo. I really just wanted the Chicken and Shrimp. Luckily, the Mister was able to eat the beef. They came sizzling! The Chicken was tender and the marinade was not over-powering. The shrimp was cooked but very fishy. I squeezed fresh lemon on it and it pulled out the intended flavor. I was not particularly awed with garnishments. I wanted shredded lettuce and maybe my choice of beans black or pinto. Nonetheless, the overall plate was good and I RECOMMEND for anyone looking for a high protein meal. The chips and dip came out first with both salsa and a bean dip. LOVED the bean dip as a counter to the spicy salsa. They did not have queso blanco but I know this is mostly a lower Mexico to central-America staple.

The manager also came and gave us free beef fajita samples since he found out it was our first time. The flavor and juiciness of the beef blew me away. My wife and I got queso to compliment the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and bean dips. I was a big fan of the beans too, didn't think I would be. We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!
