I am loyal to my nail girl but I come to sassys for my pedicures every time! I'm always greeted right upon walking in, and upon being placed in my awesome (somewhat new) pedi chair they hand out a water! We all know how important hydration is :) The facility is clean and the tubs always get wrapped in a new liner. They have two flat screens that usually have the travel channel on and I get to watch some awesome food be prepared and get new recipes. I've come here lots of times and I never leave unsatisfied! read more

Awesome place to get your nails done. I always receive a lot of compliments about my nails and I always refer people to this place. Holly, John, and Chris are all amazing manicurists. Make sure you make an appointment! They hardly take walk ins. read more

Sassy Nail - My favorite set of nails to date. - Nail Salons Near Me - Placerville, California

Excellent gel manicures! Lasts AT LEAST 2 weeks, for $25. My only criticism is that it takes over an hour, but there is such attention to detail that I think that's why it lasts so long. They are very friendly and polite. I believe Chris is who has helped me several times, but either of the 2 guys that are there do a great job. Best shop I've found in Placerville! read more

Sassy Nail - Day 19, gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Placerville, California

Pleasantly surprised! Regular pedicure was less than $30, with a generous tip. They give you a small bottle of water (nice touch, especially when hot, hope there will be hot cocoa in the winter (?)) They put your sandals on after your pedicure (my last place did not offer water, nor were they very forthcoming in helping with sandals.) Will def go again. read more

I came here a few months ago in a large bridal party, the appointment was pre-arranged and everything went smoothly. Every woman (I think there were 8 of us) in the party got pedicures and manicures and were very happy with the results. First and foremost, the place is CLEAN. That is the number one most important thing for nail salons. I work at a pharmacy, and most women who come in with warts got them from nail salons. It's even worse because two of my sisters are cosmetologists, and they told me about all the regulations, and things that can go wrong with a bad mani/pedi. I'm pretty paranoid about that type of stuff, but saw nothing to worry about. All the tools came out of sanitation bags, and the foot bath was wrapped in plastic so it was really clean. The pedicure was incredible, great types of massage and use of oil. The woman taking care of me asked me before trimming or doing anything, it was very nice. Same thing for the manicures. A few women in the party were growing out their nails, so they simply told their manicurist just to massage and paint, so that's what happened. Honestly, the bad reviews seem to come from women who get acrylics, or other types of false nails. I don't think anyone in the party got those, so I can't speak to that. They're not my style anyways, so I would definitely come back. A few of the bad reviews were for no walk-in appointments available, too. My only complaint was that the salon was a little chilly, but I'm always cold anyways. read more

Had a great pedicure. I wanted to go back the next day! Very nice and good customer service. Will be back

Would give 0 stars if I could. Got a gel mani/pedi on Tuesday night. By Thursday night the tips of both nails and toes were worn down and chipped. Went in Friday morning to ask if they could fix/re do the color. Made an appointment to come in on Monday. Just got finished with the "fix." Not only was it a bad fix, they charged me for it after saying they would be happy to fix it. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service and cheap old polish. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I moved here a few months ago and started looking for a nail salon. I tried this place and two others. This is not an extra-service kind of place but they get the job done and they do little things to make it a nice experience, like giving you a water during pedicures. It's a pleasant little shop. I have not found the people to be rude though I see some reviews saying that. I would describe the general attitude as "business like," not rude. Having moved here from a larger metro area where acrylic fills and pedis can get pretty expensive, I'd consider their service more than commensurate with what they charge. I bring my own polish. And they're pretty fast. You should plan on making appointments rather than walking in. read more

I'm from O.C. visiting family, decided to go out for a pedicure. Found this place fairly rated on Yelp, so went for it. I got right in, but when the dark skinned, older man greeted me and walked me back, I was already hesitant. But I gave it a chance, and boy was I wrong! He didn't remove all of my previous dark green polish, cut my toenails too short (without even asking if I wanted them cut), he then left one big toe nail longer than the other. Even after I corrected him, it still wasn't right! He quickly got through the cuticles and left dry skin around the edges. His polish job sucked and in the end, you could still see dark green edges around the new pink color, and his flower design was very elementary. My 8 year old daughter could have done better. Once I was put in the front to dry further under the fans, another employee noticed me picking at my toes, and she came up and asked what was wrong. I proceeded to show her what was wrong. She asked the man to come fix them, but even then, there was no hope without a whole new pedicure! The only positive thing I can say about this man, and my experience was that he gave a great massage! When I checked out, he still charged me $29.00 for a messed up basic pedi for which I had to go home and fix it myself. Now its going to take 2 weeks to grow this mess out! read more

Im not from this town. But i'm glad i stopped by. Im not sure why they only have 3.5 star reviews. But when i first walked in, Chris greeted me within 20 seconds. He said it will be about 40 mins wait. End up the wait was only 30 mins. Chris did my nails. He was very patient, careful and made sure everything was perfect on my nails. Im so in love with my flawless nails! Thank you so much Chris for the 5 star service. read more

Friendly staff and great service. A little pricey but they did a great job. Teresa was very nice and easy to chat with while she worked

Thank you to Sassys my manicure is only 6 days old and 2 freaking nails have already broke off. How cheap are they?!? They can't put enough paint to cover it all nor make them thick enough to not break!! Never going here again. I try and try to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I'm done read more

Sassy Nail - Great job - Nail Salons Near Me - Placerville, California

This is the worst place I have been to for nails. Ladies save your time and money, and skip this place. I asked for ONE nail to be fixed. I have dip powder nails. The nail tech left the broken part of the nail and just put the powder around it. You can see it doesn't even match (middle finger nail) and THEN he goes on to ruin other one of my nails (pointer finger) by filing over the perfect top coat. He didn't even apologize and said I should have stopped him. To finish it off, he put a super goopy top coat that is lumpy and patchy. Seriously, worst experience I've ever had. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

What a joke this place is!!!!!!!! I asked price for mani/pedi, he quoted $34, so made a quick phone call asked my niece to join me, then turned to guy and said I would like mani/ pedi, my niece wanted a pedicure....he said come back Monday, I said no, he said we are done for the day, it was 5:10 on a Saturday. What a joke, does not belong in small town.... read more

I had a great experience here. I recommend the "sassy" pedicure option which includes paraffin wax treatment and lots of exfoliation and foot and leg massage. At $33 I thought the price was very reasonable. I went in on a Saturday around noon and the shop was busy but I was still able to get in right away without an appointment. Thank god because I was in desperate need of some pampering. The lotions and exfoliating scrubs they used smelled heavenly and helped me to relax. Their massage chairs were in good condition, and they have a TV placed on the opposite wall so you can watch. I love that they had the Food Network on. I love cooking shows. All in all it was a perfect hour of relaxation and my technician did a great job on my toenails. I can't wait to go back again! read more

SO I called to get my nails done, they said full set would be 21 dollars, pretty cheap. I walked in looked up at their board it also said 21. Then I also asked how much they would charge me for ombre nail polish... he straight up said "No we don't do that." The guy that greets me tells me to go to the last station, I said great speedy service. So I quickly go over to the nail polish to pick my color, but I don't know what color to choose. The guys once again tells me the go the last station, I said "can I choose my nail polish?" "go ahead." Ok no big deal. Well the lady starts to do my fingers, she gets the acrylic application I let her do the first one, it's pretty thick. I ask her if she could make them a little thinner, which she tried I guess... well essentially when she was done they were pretty thick and not only that I felt like my tips where really wide not a good look for somebody with skinny long fingers. When it was time to pay she charged me 22!! I didn't contest it because I figured hey keep my extra dollar cause it's the last time you're ever going to get my money, and I figured I should warn all those looking for a nail salon. then when I got home upon inspecting my nail she left a bunch of the gunk that she filed away, underneath my nail. So she was too lazy to clean underneath my nails, and it was pretty big chunks and I know she them because she did apply a coat to the underneath. SO please save your money, go somewhere else. I love tips and toes in Cameron park. I didn't go there cause I had a friend with me and we were on a time crunch. so yeah they were meh! I read more

New to town so I prefer to use Yelp to get an idea what our community has to offer. I take the worse and best comments with a grain of salt. One common comment I read about Sassy nails was that customers appointments were often ignored. I walked in for a 12:30 appointment and was informed that I had to wait 10 minutes and the receptionist kindly apologized. I smiled and said no problem I will wait. Okay, now it's 1 p.m. and still have not had my nails done. I expect customer service, customers are number one. Obviously I was expecting too much and prefer to spend my money elsewhere. I walked out! read more

Had a pedicure here Saturday the 16 th of November. My toes are still hurting an I have to wear flip flops. The man had me put my feet in Ice cold water... Then couldn't understand it needed to be warmer.. Then he poked the hell out of my feet with the cuticle pusher. As I tried to find some one to tell him "gentle"!!! Then he cut my nails so short an proceeds to file the skin !!!!! Ouch!!! Never again!!! An that pain costed me 33$!!!!! Not recommended for a relaxing pedi day!!! read more

Went in for a regular acrylic nail fill on my lunch break. I had been here previously for pedicures and really liked them. I Made an appointment for noon, arrived at 11:55. I had told them upfront I only could stay 45 minutes. They assured me it would be plenty of time for the fill. The young man working on my nails appeared like he was brand new. He was extremely slow! I had to leave 1/2 way through my fill as he was not finished. He basically applied the acrylic and filed them a little. They seemed surprised I had to leave like I hadn't told them... twice. They asked if I wanted to come back later..... Um no I do not want to come back later! I asked how much for a 1/2 fill since that is all I got. They charged me $17 for the fill!!! Really??? $17 for jagged, crooked, non filed or painted nails. What a joke! I won't go back! Even for a pedicure. The one in Cameron park is way better and they are open on the weekends!!! read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, good or bad. I have been coming here for a couple of years and have mostly been happy with the pedicures. Apparently, a spa pedicure now means a pedicure with no spa. They won't turn it on anymore due to having to clean the machine. Really disappointed and not planning to go back. read more

I was in town for a family emergency, needed a manicure. Found Sassy Nail and got in relatively quickly. That's a positive thing i can say. Unfortunately the nail polish on my nails started falling off in big 1/4 inch chunks within a few hours, and I did nothing more than bump my hand against a wood fence. I had snaggy, messed up cuticles that i had to trim by myself with a nail clipper. Very poor job. I do not recommend. read more

I stopped going to my regular place as I just felt they didn't care about me as a customer and forgot they were working for me (so irritating!!) !! I walked into Sassy Nails and wasn't greeted by "pick a color".. !! They actually said hi and asked what they could do for me and since I've been getting my nails done for years; they didn't mind when I told them how I liked them done; and they did all the things my other place had to be promoted to do. Okay, they've remodeled since I was last here so its much cleaner. There's also a slight price increase, but still $24 for the basic pedi was worth it. I haven't been in this nail salon for over 3 years. It was my friends birthday and she suggested we try Sassy Nails off Broadway, again. So, I called on Monday around 5:10pm and spoke with a guy and scheduled an appointment for 3 lovely ladies for today(Friday) at 10:30. Skip ahead to today(Friday), we show up and the receptionist says we don't have an appointment and that they can't get us in until 12:00. She told me that she is the only one who answers the phone calls. She then proceeded to tell me that I probably made the mistake and I actually called the Cameron Park Sassy Nails. So, I step outside check my phone log and sure enough there is their phone number(530) 622-2700 for their Placerville Sassy Nail and there is the time I called. I go back inside to show the receptionist that I wasn't the one who made the mistake. That they made the mistake. But great job blaming the customer. I guess the girl receptionist isn't the only one that answers the phone calls. This is the exact problem I had the last time I went in, 3 years ago. Needless to say, I will not be going back there again. And it's safe to say neither will my friends. read more
