This will be a review that is a pleasure to write. My nephew recommended this place to me last week and I went there today, just finished my meal and IT..DID...NOT...DISAPPOINT!!!! I like heat. I LOVE heat. Most places I have gone to the hottest they have to offer fails dismally but this place delivered. I got the sandwich with Sassy AF heat and upgraded my fries to loaded fries for 6 bucks more. The price was around 23 bucks with tip and although that is higher than what I usually pay for a lunch, it was money well spent, and I will happily pay it again. Here are the Pros: 1.The Sassy AF heat is up there, but not unbearable to anyone who likes heat. It was a perfect amount and you could still taste the components of the whole sandwich. That said, I could use just a little more heat, but this was very good. 2. The chicken on the sandwich was a huge portion done up nice and crispy. 3. The creamy cole slaw on the sandwich added a nice sweet element which is exactly what it is supposed to do. A couple crunchy pickle slices gave a nice cool tang to the sandwich. 4. The roll was soft, sweet, and delicious. A perfect bed for my spicy sandwich 5. The loaded fries were delicious. The only problem is, it made the meal too heavy! That is extremely rare for me to say! I LOVE when a meal is hard to eat because it is too much food! It tastes too good to stop, so I will happily suffer my full stomach. Ok, sadly, there are some Cons regarding this meal: 1. I had to drive 15 minutes back home smelling how great the food was, but I didn't dare try eating it while driving. It was torture. 2. It would be nice to have a drink option on a combo, but that is a very minor issue. You add a drink to the sandwich/fries combo, you are looking at around 16 or 17 bucks for a full combo. A little high, but very worth it. 3. There is no 3. I can't find anything to mark down on this place. Something I forgot to mention was the amount of time it took to get my meal. From ordering to getting meal was less than 9 minutes. That is damn good for food of this quality. I am sure it will increase during prime hours, but even then, I would wait a pretty good amount of time for this meal. Service was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed writing this review almost as much as I enjoyed my meal. read more

The Antelope valley was in need of a special place like this! The wait was worth it! The hype is oh so real! Ladies and gentlemen! This is the chicken sandwich you want! The one you deserve!! After following them on Instagram and all of the pushbacks on opening I got to try Sassy Bird the night before their first day of soft opening. I happened to be the 6th group of customers in line with my brother. We were greeted by the owners, as this is a small family owned business it will receive my continued support. My brother and I ordered the Sassy Af option for the heat option. Let me start by saying that this was super spicy and oh so nicey! After the first bite the flavors of the perfectly cooked chicken filled my mouth with bliss! The peppers were not too far behind as they came and grabbed me by the throat! The heat was kicking!!! Lips tingling, and tongue numb this sando was not one to underestimate! The chicken drenched in their Unfortunately I didn't get a picture as I was too excited to much in on the sando! The tater tots were crispy and fried perfectly with a nice seasoning dusted over them. Hot chili powder after taking a nice bath in their hot sauce, covered in that sweet nectar of A sauce to top It off on a toasted bun! No pickles for me though!! The price was nice as the sando and tots are $13 or just $11 for the sando alone. I'm looking forward to the future for them. When I'm back in town I'll be going back weekly for sure. Went here with my work partner on a meal and this place was amazing from the customer service and food quality. Jonathan took our order and was very helpful I appreciated his patience since it was our first time here. You could go to any mainstream steak house and pay that or just a little bit more for a steak not a greasy chicken sandwich and some fries. I am stuffed! And I only ate about half of my Sassy Sando. I am usually spice-averse, but this was wonderful. The young lady at the register helped translate the menu for me and suggested the "regular" sauce. I promised to report back and let me tell you it was delish! I want to keep eating, but I will pop! So me and my husband were finally able to stop by to see if the hype was worth it. After seeing many delicious photo worthy pictures on Instagram we couldnt wait. First impressions the totes and fries were great, cooked to great crispy perfection. Now for the chicken sandwich I was extremely sad. It was a bit dry and lacked some sort of flavor. I was expecting to bit into a juice flavorful sandwich with lots of sauce but nope it didnt happen . Over all the Nashville seasoning was there but that's about it . Maybe going forward they can try other flavors or amplify their original one. I did return for a 2nd time and ordered the loaded fries to see if this would be better but again the chicken was dry and lacked that burst of flavor. It's pretty much a knife and fork sand which, but I tend to make a mess of large sandwiches anyway. I ordered the hot and it was excellent. I like spicy, and this was perfect. My friend ordered the sassy Which was really spicy so be warned! I also had the tots, which included a sauce, other toppings and chicken pieces. This is a meal by itself! Amazing! The sassy af sauce is definitely spicy and I loved it. Most "spicy" things aren't, so it was a nice surprise. The loaded tots and loaded fries are equally delicious. I ordered my food at 2:46 it said pickup at 3:14 I came from Palmdale so a little drive got here at the time it said and I get to the door and they tell me 45 more minutes.
