Busy place with a limited menu. No seating area. Accepts card with a fee. All our baked goods were amazing and quite affordable. They also have a fridge with a couple bottled/canned drink options. I can recommend the maneishe, potato borek and cheese borek. I also recommend coming early, because things can sell out

We were in the area and we're looking for a bakery early in the morning. This place was open so we headed there and were greeted with the loveliest aromas the moment we went inside. I didn't realize how much I got until we came home. I thought the dough on everything was just perfect. The dough to filling ratio is great (unlike some of the places I've been to in OC) and everything was seasoned well -- not too salty. We got a bunch of everything: lahmajun, maneische, boereks (meat, spinach, cheese), hummus, etc I wish they were closer but it was such a treat!

Love those herbs and spices with cheese!

If you want a nice simple Middle Eastern breakfast with delicious bread spicy cheeses and herbs made fresh every morning don't pass this place up at all. Stop by immediately and enjoy a traditional beautifully made flatbread snack along with a great choice of beverages to start your day right. I love the traditional over-the-counter service with a person who is putting the bread in the oven's to bake fresh and fill the entire restaurant or bakery with an aroma that is appetizing. You can feed two people very easily for $20 and still have some to take home. I can't think them enough for the friendly service I inhaled my breakfast I'll be back!

There food is amazing. Would totally recommend to anyone who just wants some Armenian food with a homemade feel. Everyone is so nice and sweet. It is a very simple yet convenient shop.

FINALLY got the chance to give this place a try after seeing all the great reviews (& a few you tube videos)! It's a small bakery in a strip mall- when you enter you'll see it's basically a walk up and order kind of place- there aren't any tables to sit at inside, so just know beforehand that it's pretty much a to-go/only kind of bakery! LAHMAJUHN Pretty much what almost every reviewer describes~ an Armenian pizza of sorts! A thin, flat circle of dough perfectly baked & crisped topped with spiced meaty goodness! SUPER cheap & good! It's the only lahmajuhn I've ever had so I can't compare it to any others, but I would definitely come back for it again! CHEESE BEOREK Also really, really tasty! A warm, mild white cheese filled pocket of freshly baked bread. Again, first BEOREK we've ever tried so I can't honestly compare it to others, but it was hearty & filling! If you're looking to try some savory Armenian baked goodies, trust all the great reviews about this place & stop by!

Good boreks ! I like the feta cheese borek most. The regular cheese borek and potato borek also good. The price is competitive.

We got the beef and chicken plate and Greek salad. This was enough for 3 of us to share! The beef and chicken were tender and marinated well. All the sides in the combo were good too - especially the hummus! The greek salad was a nice complement, and again really large portion. I really enjoyed the meal and would recommend if you're looking for Armenian food!

I finally tried Mini Kabob and it was all that and more…read more I ordered the chicken and beef plate with rice and hummus (yes to the hummus), and the chicken was incredibly well-seasoned and juicy -- so good. Only note for next time: I'll ask for it a little more well-done (just personal preference... I like my chicken with a little extra bite ). The eggplant caviar was solid and a generous portion, but the real standout? The Caesar wrap. It completely lived up to the hype -- bold, flavorful, and honestly addictive. I almost ordered a second one to take home. Also worth mentioning: the son of the owner who took my order was super friendly and had great customer service, even with a long line. He kept things moving while still being engaging, which I appreciated. I was excited to hear they're opening a Studio City location -- I'll definitely be back. This place is a must. Get the Caesar wrap.

Wow. That's all. This place is legit. The filet shish kabob…read morewas so tender and perfectly spiced. I could have eaten that all day. The chicken was juicy and mouthwatering deliciousness. The lamb was gamey, packed with flavor. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to try this place out again. We ordered takeout, food was ready on time, service was great. Parking is a bit challenging since it's only street parking, but that's Montrose :P

The Seasoning Alley Mediterranean restaurant in Montrose…read more showed promise but landed somewhere in the middle. Here are some impressions from our visit earlier today. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing. Our Chicken Kabob had a tender interior with a nicely charred exterior. The spices and marinade showed potential, but the overall flavor profile didn't quite soar beyond the ordinary. Wouldn't call it standout, yet it wasn't bad. It was just barely okay. The falafel tasted fresh, but the exterior could have used a bit more crispness. Interior was moist enough, with chickpea flavor present, though it didn't leave a lasting impression. Our overall impressions were that our meals were just barely okay for a casual dinner, but it didn't move into the "great" category. We were disappointed. We expected better quality. For improvement, heating the pita and rice to perfection and dialing in the falafel crust would elevate the overall experience. A touch more depth in the chicken kabob seasoning or a signature sauce could help distinguish the dishes. If you're in the mood for a low-key Mediterranean option with reliable service, this spot is worth a try. It's a safe bet for an okay meal, with good service and good size portions for a casual night out with friends or family. Considering their prices, for repeat visits, I'd hope to see more consistency across staples like the rice, pita and falafel, and a bolder finish on the kebabs to push the overall rating from "good but not great" to "really good." Pita and rice arrived cold. The Falafel could have been crisper. Chicken kabob flavor could be more distinct. The Hummus was horrible. Next time, I'll pass on this place. Cheers!
