Eh, I feel like Sasha didn't know how to deal with my hair. She gave me all the wrong tips. I have 3A high porosity hair. She didn't know the porosity of my hair. Didn't even mention it. I had to figure that out on my own. She also told me to kick my diffuser on super high which my hair hated that. I also took a class to learn more about my hair and it didn't help me at all. My hair still sucks, and I don't know, she just wasn't listening to me at all. I wanted my curls defined not volumized, and she didn't listen to what I had to say. What I learned was that if you want your desired results , don't overbook your day, keep it open and allow the time needed. For me, it was a special treat, so taking the time to get to know my Stylist, chat and experience the luxury mattered! Rushing the Stylist doesn't help ! I loved her energy, super sweet and great to chat with. But- the hair results ! She got it! I wanted to de- orange, go darker with a few highlights in the front, and that is exactly what I got! dark chocolate color, and the perfect not too obvious highlights. I am beyond happy! I have been to several colorists in Seattle trying to find someone who could really take care of coloring my curls, and Sasha has definitely won the prize! I went from a badly-faded rose gold with a full inch of roots to the gorgeous wine-red chocolate color you can see in the picture, and not only that but she spent the last 10 minutes of my appointment giving me some additional tips and tricks for styling. Rude and disorganized . I went to this salon referred by another client . But it was a nightmare from start to finish . Here are some main reasons . When I walked in to make an appointment I was given the wrong price , was charged 100$ more than expected on the day I was helped . I got there early to wash hands etc due to Covid precautions and I was told to wait rudely . -the hairdresser who helped me was somewhat cold in all talks with me from start to finish , initiated judging my hair ", that it was not in good shape , I needed so much treatments , to pay extra for extra stuff like pressuring me . Also talking in the back with another co worker. I was feeling something negative . I asked the price she gave it , I thought it's was a bit higher than the expected from what I was told on first day when I walked in to make my appointment. And get my color """toned """" I walk in As we agree , I see Sasha " She wasn't even friendly - She was like hi " all surprised may I help you ???" I'm like " yes I made an appointment for me to tone my hair" on Facebook " She is like "" Oh "you didn't confirm , You were coming But I can schedule for another day ? I can't now their is another customer just here ..."" .....(I was like really are you kidding ??) she *** apparently didn't see my message --- but I don't believe it - Since even other customers where Stood ,"" the day I was helped .....someone showed up for a haircut and the hairdresser wasn't there apparently a """confusion """ DONT WASTE your money or time here . It's an elegant but horrible atmosphere, so judge mental -irresponsible.....or maybe racist "? Whatever it is . Even though I was offered apparently a fix or tone . (My gut said , forget it . I love Jason. He's so great. My first time getting a haircut in Seattle. I usually get my hair done in San Diego, CA with the same stylist I've been going to for years. So I'm pretty iffy on trying a new salon in a new city. However, Jason is so great at what he does. I also got an appointment on the same day and they were very accommodating. Beware the kids haircut! I booked a children's haircut (which was posted as $35 on the website.) When we went in, sat down and had a chat about cutting my daughter's long hair into a "Bob" cut the price shot up to $70 for a "designer cut." As my daughter was already sitting in the chair I reluctantly agreed and the stylist said, "It's a lot of work to go from long to short but if you come in within the next few months before it grows out too much, then I'll be able to do it for the child's price." Shame on me, I believed her. We came in 3 months later and the same thing happened-- while she was sitting in the chair, again she jumped the price from $30 to $70! The stylist did a great job BUT there are plenty of other places for children's cuts that are way more reasonably priced without the bait and switch act they have going on at Sasha Moon. read more

Also, I didn't receive what our consultation was about. My highlights were chunky and my hair was orange. I immediately went to Sally's to fix the mess she created. She blames it on the henna I had in my hair BUT a good hairdresser wouldn't have 1. Left the dye on that long & 2. Continued to do what she could so my hair wasn't orange. I started seeing the lovely Veronica last October and she is wonderful. Not only am I picky I am super indecisive, Veronica listens and she nicely gives her opinion and I leave happy! She's great with color, I have stubborn grays and the color along with the highlights don't have me coming back for 7-8 weeks! Feels so good to wake up and not need to worry about makeup when my brows and lashes look this good Lexus gave me a volume full set, eyebrow lamination and eyebrow tint. I was so fortunate today to have an appointment with Veronica. I needed some help with my curly hair and working with a cut I received at another salon that didn't really know how to work with my curls. I live on the East side, but was in Seattle running errands. I was over due for highlights because my regular stylist is on an extended maternity leave. I saw this shop and walked in to check it out. I met the owner, Sasha and wow! Was I impressed with her professionalism. She had another client coming in, but took such time listening to how I felt about my hair and what I needed. Even though she was booked that day (always a good sign) I felt so comfortable with her that I booked an appointment with her for a different day and came back. All I can say is she did the most amazing blonde on my thin wavy hair. Some places lift faster then others and she is the first person to ever use 2 different formulas on my hair to make it all come out even. She styles it in a way I can't do myself as well. I am only giving 3 stars to Sasha Moon Salon for an eyelash extension service I had received approximately 5 weeks ago, because most of my eyelashes fell off within 2 weeks of the eyelash extension service. Initially, I was satisfied with my new lashes, but was quickly dissappointed, because I noticed that most of them were gone within a couple of weeks. I routinely get extensions of my eyelashes, and know how to take care of them. read more
