I've ordered delivery so many times from Sarah's Too and they were perfect until December. I placed my usual order and it showed up wrong. The person over the phone tried to correct it by taking the wrong sandwich and replacing it with an extra charge which I was okay with. They ended up deciding that I placed the wrong order(whoever took my order was adamant that I ordered what she entered but I have NEVER ordered that) and I would not be refunded and was stuck with the inedible sandwich I was given. I waited awhile and today decided I would give them a second chance. I did my regular order and sure enough.... It showed up wrong. A seafood salad sandwich even though my receipt said chicken salad. This is VERY dangerous for those with seafood allergies. I ordered the sandwich at 12:30, called to correct it once delivered at 1:10, and did not receive my ordered sandwich until 3:20. Very disappointed and I feel like I was picked out as the "bad customer" from our previous order as my coworkers order showed up perfectly. I was very disappointed with this place it use to be a lot better but now it's lost its ability to even make a mocha the correct way or a white chocolate mocha.. the coffee was very watered down and over priced also I got home and mixed it with coffee from my house and it sat for 5 mins and it had what appeared to have oil on top of it.. My family's favorite sandwich shop in Alaska. Everything tastes fresh. We never have to wait long. The best part is that you don't leave smelling like "subway" when you are don. You know what I mean. They have sprouts!!!! The sandwiches are HUGE. My mom and I split one and we're totally stuffed. They even put onion on her half of the sandwich only. Everything was fresh and yummy! The staff was awesome and the service was super fast. The table and place were clean. The only downside was the man who wouldn't stop talking to me. I believe he was intoxicated. They served him fast (order was to go) and he left ASAP. He never actually did anything wrong just made me very uncomfortable. read more

I recently wrote a review for Sara's Sandwich shop on Artic here in Anchorage. I really enjoyed it, but was uncertain when I would travel that side of town to revisit. Imagine how surprised and excited I was when I found out that Sara had taken over the building that The Reverend "May I ask for a donation please" Prevo had previously occupied as a coffee establishment. I could not give you a review of the coffee shop that Prevo ran, because I flat assed refused to go to it...BUT Sara is there now!!! THERE IS A GOD!!! He threw Prevo out and gave it to Sara, and I am so happy he did. Her sami menu is outstanding, the selections are all tasty with FRESH ingredients! Great service!!! Inexpensive sandwiches and drinks. Plus wifi!!! What else could anyone ask for? Maybe just to keep it slightly warmer. I guess it's colder in here cause there is a lot if traffic in this place. Service is super friendly and fast. They soups are phenomenal and their sandwiches are monstrous!!! You can make the sandwiches just as good at home, nothing special. Dangerous atmosphere with homeless people sitting around the building and inside. Coffee is less than spectacular also. Overall a bland and uncomfortable place to eat. read more

Love Sara's Too! The staff is always courteous and quick. The food is made it order and always delicious! They have a large selection of sandwiches to order from but you can always add to them or make your own. They usually have a few soups too. Their loaded potato and Split pea are amazing! read more

Well as a first timer I chose the turkey cream cheese with cranberry sauce on white. Husband got the French dip. I think these are by far the best sandwiches. I've tried many places. The turkey is my favorite. French dip was great, but my husband likes more flavor (aka salt) which I think they did great. Sides were pretty tasty (coleslaw,Mac salad). It's location made me wonder for the past few years, I finally took the plunge and went in. I regret not walking in this place four years ago when I first saw it. The food can be really great-if they get your order right. I've had them mess up over 40 dollars in food in the last week alone. I keep assuming they may get it right and I can actually have the sandwich I want, but no, the customer service is horrible. They're rude on the phone, and can't get the order right, they shouldn't even allow phone orders, and you should check your order before you leave. I seriously feel like a potato could have a better work ethic. read more

I only recently noticed that Saras too was on my side of town before I had gone to the original Sara's sandwich place and enjoy the sandwiches very often. This placings have a very chill atmosphere and a great Friday I have food. Although this place is not your conventional sandwich place has a good selection and decent priced menu of which I often enjoy the French bread roll! read more

First off being from Philly I know what a hoagie is supposed to taste like! This place has found that magical taste of real hoagies! I've visited Sara's Sandwiches a couple times in the past and always enjoyed the sami I recieved. But, a couple weeks ago, my office ordered in lunch from Sara's for a big meeting. I have to say, this time around, I have never had a better sandwich. I had co-workers eyeing my sandwich, wishing they had ordered what I got. If you're sick of subway then this is the place for you. You will actually get a 12 inch sub instead of the subway 8 inch. Meat cut fresh and fresh veggies also. Pretty decent price and they have a drive thru so you can call ahead and pick up. All the staff has been very friendly and helpful every time i've been there. The only downside is the location. especially if you're coming down boniface, you will have to to turn on northern lights and turn around and come back up the road to turn in. its a real pain. read more

Sara Too's is within walking distance from my workplace and offers a decent selection of soups, sandwiches, coffee... Anyway, it beats the gas station. And I was pretty impressed when I asked for a soy substitute and they had it. My only complaint is that they can take forever to serve you. They usually have one teenager working at the counter to serve the drive-thru and in-person customers and make drinks. And it gets pretty hectic during peak hours. But if you have time, no big deal. read more

I go here for the breakfast sandwich and coffee. The Breakfast Sandwich is consistently excellent. Croissant with Egg, Sausage and cheese. You can get this on an English muffin also. The service is great and always greeted with a smile. They make sandwiches also and the have soup to boot! Great local place! read more
