I have been here many times for breakfast and the food has always been great. I've been to a lot of the breakfast places in Appleton and most of them are lacking but so far this is by far the best breakfast place I've been to in Appleton! read more

Perfect service, perfect food, perfect price. I can't believe this location exists. What with its locally sourced ingredients, healthy yet delicious food, and over the top service. I got to taste a sample of their juice which is pressed in house and was amazed. I had a chocolate latte which was perfect. The smoked turkey wrap was amazing. I cannot wait to go back! read more

I am so excited that I'm moving back to the Fox Valley so that I can eat at SAP all the time. I've eaten there 4 times so far and every time my experience and the food have been amazing. I've tried two of the Eggs Benedicts: the chorizo and the pulled pork. Perfectly cooked eggs, delicious meats, wonderful fried potatoes, a beautiful, simple green salad on the side, and I don't know what they do to that English Muffin, but it's so good. Last week I had the Friday fish fry and the fish was wonderful and those fries---skinny and crispy! House made tartar sauce and a couple of onion rings too. My son and his girlfriend had omelets that they loved so much that we had to go back two days later so they could eat the exact same meal again. Wonderful coffee and really friendly and efficient staff. Oh! And the baked goods! Just go. read more

We had our office Christmas lunch at SAP. I ordered Croque Monsieur, but I got the BLTA. Since we had to get back to work, I decided to just eat what they gave me. I will admit, the flavor was awesome and the presentation was very nice. But in all my years, I have never eaten anything that greasy. Between the bacon grease literally dripping onto my plate with every bite and the bread falling apart from way too much butter, I spent most of my meal wiping grease off my fingers while trying to keep it off my clothes. As far as the ambiance, I wasn't a fan. The acoustics were awful. I could barely hear what my co-workers were saying across our small table for five. And the tables were so close, if I had wanted to excuse myself from the table, others had to get up to push in their chairs. Maybe the patio offered a better experience. I do like they use local ingredients, and their bakery looked awesome. To be fair, the others in my group enjoyed their food, and had mine not been so greasy, I would have given a much better review. read more

This place is great. We come to Appleton for work sporadically, and every time we land we make a beeline to SAP for breakfast. This place is not just good for a small town - if they had one here in (larger southern city with a multitude of high quality breakfast/brunch options) I'd go every day. I've never had a bad item. At first I was into their variety of creative benedicts, but recently I've been going with the SAP cakes - perfect pancakes with local real maple syrup - along with a couple perfectly cooked over-medium eggs and a chicken apple sausage patty. And don't forget to try a caramel latte - among the best I've had. Friendly staff, great open, upscale but comfy space. Always looking forward to the next visit! read more

Best brunch in the valley! I love all of their eggs Benedict, absolutely delicious. I recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious brunch any day of the week. read more

Very laid back atmosphere with an upbeat staff who always make you feel welcome! Had the chorizo Benedict which was wonderful.

If you like a fried egg with your steak or burger, then SAP is the best place to make that happen. Great selection of beer and wine, breakfast all day, yummy bakery, and very friendly staff. read more

We keep coming back, and can't get enough. I love their eggs benny and their grits. My husband loves the corned beef hash. Everything is always amazing. Oh! And their coffee! We know good coffee and they don't disappoint! Free refills too. read more

My wife and I have eaten here several times. We have never been disappointed with the flavor or quality of the food. It appears that their target customer is not a younger family but adults. The reason I say this is the food is prepared for more of an advanced pallet. read more

The hot chocolate with the marshmallow is super delicious. The wait everrrrry time you go there sucks, but the food is good. Use call ahead seating if you can. read more

Have been to SAP for lunch and breakfast and my breakfast experience has always been just a bit better. Fried Green Tomato Benedict - yum. BLTA - one side of soggy bread, boo! Overall, one of my favorites for setting and menu options in this area. read more

To say that SAP is exceptional for breakfast, brunch and lunch is not an overstatement. My wife and I have eaten there a dozen times since it opened on Memorial Day weekend. Our grandsons have joined us many times and they love it. SAP is the only restaurant where we eat breakfast or brunch. read more

One of my favorite restaurants! I always clean my plate and leave with at least 2 of those gorgeous desserts!! And love the fresh OJ mimosas!! read more

Best Brunch in Appleton! Food is wonderful, and the macaroons in the bakery are delicious as well :)

Best restaurant in Appleton! Unique menu items, Colectivo coffee, delicious bakery items. The only drawback is the restaurant is always busy and customers may have a small wait before being seated but the food is well worth the wait! read more

Very quaint little place. The food options are unique and make the experience fun. The people are friendly and helpful and it seems everyone there, including the customers, are there for a good time. It's even good for kids. read more

I can't wait to go back and try everything else! I had the lobster Mac and cheese which was the special that day. It was so good! French fries are delicious. Ask for a side of the garlic aioli and dip your fries in it! Too good! Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked tasty. I will be returning no doubt read more

Okay, okay. I heard the hype. "Lines out the door, etc." Hostess kinda was weird when I said I was dining alone. The restaurant is COLD (bring a coat). My waitress was SUPER informative and friendly. (Like literally-best I've ever had) I ordered a burger, no bun with lots of extra toppings. It arrived on a long skinny rectangular plate. 1/4 burger, 3/4 French fries & onion rings. WHAT? My first bite I thought, it needs salt. Once salted, it tasted lovely with all the toppings. The burger wasn't really special in itself. Shouldn't grass fed beef be really flavorful? IDK. My waitress did the "is everything okay" check within 2 minutes and I told her I didn't expect fries, let alone a huge plate of them. I asked for a side salad instead... She came back with a glove & a plate & removed the fries. And within 5 minutes I had a huge beautiful salad in front of me. I ordered a coffee to go. Almond milk as a dairy alternative. I would say try the place yourself, but my overall experience wasn't seamless. read more

Sooooo yummy! I ordered the bacon, lettuce, avacado, tomato sandwich on Saturday that I can't stop thinking about! Fresh ingredients, perfect bread and high quality cheese made this a sandwich to remember. I went back tonight with a friend intending to get that sandwich again but we couldnt pass on the fish tacos. We were not disappointed. Great food, excellent wine selection and tasty baked goods are going to make me fat! I can't wait to go for breakfast. Best restaurant in town! read more

Love coming here! I've gotten the lobster Mac and cheese and that is so good! Service is always great and i love that we get our own water goblet for the table. Saves the server running back and forth for water. read more

Really goooood breakfast, weired combinations. Cupcakes and pastry just OK. but got the 5 stars for the breakfast/Brunch entrees.

I dined at SAP with a business colleague. He had the Scottish Salmon which appeared to be good and a reasonably sized portion. I had the $22.00 Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin. It was so small as to be comical - thin and certainly less than 6 ounces. It was tasty, but should have been listed as a small plate. I treated the SAP meal as an appetizer - after dropping my friend off at his hotel, I went to Outback and ordered the $15.79 9 ounce Outback Sirloin. It was huge by comparison to the SAP offering and quite good. read more

Excellent food, reasonable prices, and great service. Their salads and chicken noodle soup in particular are outstanding! I do wish they still carried the local, non-homogenized, low heat pasteurized milk in the jugs, as it's hard to come by, especially on this side of town! read more

It was ok, food was unique but missing something. My breakfast hash could have been cooked a little longer, it wasn't as crispy as I would have expected it to be and my wife's food sounded good on the menu, the actual ingredients didn't work well together in the dish. read more

My husband has Never seen me order Hollandaise sauce in the 29 years that we have been together. But being a foodie from the west coast and now northern Nevada, I know that Wisconsin has superior milk, cream, eggs, butter, bacon, pork -- and this place looked like they could pull off a Hollandaise sauce. So I'm traveling and feeling adventuresome, why not? I ordered the fried green tomato Benedict with SAP potatoes and SAP salad. Score!!! The Hollandaise sauce was smooth and savory, not over citrusy as with others that I have tasted of my friends. The poached eggs cooked to what I consider perfection. Caramelized onion sweetened the tartness of the tomato and the not too smoky just the right amount of bacon rounded the dish off. The English muffin was a good base. I adored the salad. House made light seeded dressing, so yummy. And the SAP potatoes were pretty good, too. Only complaint was we came in right at noon hour and had an over 30 minute wait, but in the end, I thought it was worth the wait. read more

SAP Brunch - Fried green tomato Benedict with perfectly executed poached egg. SAP salad and SAP potatoes, too. Yummy! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

I am usually the FIRST person to tell someone that SAP is a must go to! It's amazing food and a great location. But with that being said, last night I had the worst service. I met a friend for dinner who I hadn't seen in a few months, who was planning her wedding and needed some advice. We waited for a table, no big deal the food is worth the wait. Once seated our waiter mumbled and was back at our table every 2 minutes after we told him we needed 10 minutes. Once we ordered, it seemed to get better. We had issues with the soup but he quickly handled it. Once dinner was done there was no one waiting to be seated so we doddled and caught up. Our waited rushed us to leave, he brought the checked and before we could get our cards and before he cleaned the table he was back for payment. Once paid he came back 3 times to get the copies. It was very uncomfortable and he was very awkward about it. He kept coming back to the table to get the slips instead of grabbing them after the table was cleared. Very disappointing read more

As a non-frequent yelper, I was guilted (because are soooo nice) into writing a review about the exception food and service we experienced at SAP. Went to breakfast two days in rolls. Everything was so delicious. Check out SAP. You will be blown away! read more

The ambience is so aesthetically pleasing! Such a cool place to go for a more up-scale breakfast/brunch. And their service is fantastic! The espresso bar makes delicious drinks, the omelettes are deliciously gigantic, the pancakes are to die for, the orange juice is freshly squeezed. I highly recommend experiencing it! read more

My wife and I decided to stop in and have breakfast. What a great surprise as the food, service, and decor are fantastic. My wife had the smoked salmon benedict and I had the red flannel hash with corned beef. We both were extremely pleased with our choices. Our waitress was just super. Oh by the way, their house coffee is right there with the best. We definitely will be coming here again. read more

I recommend calling an hour ahead of time to put your name on "The List". They will take your phone call and write your name down to give you the false impression that you are slightly more important than the poor SAP's (pun fully intended) who just show up unannounced. Upon arriving you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a 45 min wait along side a snaggle of screaming children. Once seated, it will take another 20 mins for your hipster waitperson to tell you that they are out of the special for today. You will wait another 10 mins for your drinks to arrive, but that's okay because they give you a really groovy straw which makes you feel special. After your appetizer finally arrives you will have the pleasure of another painstakingly long wait. That frustration will soon fade when a voice inside your head will calmly tell you that the hard part is now over. You've made it, you're on deck, and the food must be incredible. Besides, you are immersed in a wonderful display of hip wall colors and decor. Another 45 mins will pass until your hipster waitperson arrives with your $17 burger. The presentation is fantastic, the plate itself truly is Instagram worthy. That euphoria is short lived however, as you sink your teeth into a tasteless and slightly over charred "Grass Fed" burger wrapped in a 2-3 day old stale bun. The onion rings and french fries offer no salvation. The pickle was good. After you've surrendered half your plate of expensive food, you will seek out some dessert to salvage this fiasco. You're hipster waitperson will have gone MIA at this point, so you will need to get up to go to the dessert counter yourself. The $2 Oreo sized macaroons are delightful, the cupcakes must have been made alongside the buns. They're slogan is "Real People. Real Food. Real Love.", and I guess my dining experience can't contradict any of those statements. If I may, I would like to add Really Slow Hipster Service. Really Poor Real Food. Really Expensive Lovely Presentation. read more

Best place for brunch or breakfast in Appleton. The quality of the food and the staff are extraordinary. The selection of desserts is just phenomenal, is like be in a bakery somewhere in Europe. The price is really reasonable for such great quality. Hope they keep up the great work. read more
