Really awesome vibe in here. There's a lot of open space and really neat decor all over the walls. There is a ton of seating. What is really cool is up by the front they have some old wagon wheels that have been turned into tables. There are plenty of food items as well as pastries so no shortage on things to eat here. They also have a good variety of coffees from drip to pour over espresso. You name it. I got a blueberry muffin and a vanilla latte. The blueberry muffin is full of blueberries, super moist and delicious. The vanilla latte is spot on perfectly made. If you're in the area, I highly recommend coming over here. read more

In Appleton for a conference. Asked the Appleton Visitor Center for a good place for breakfast and they suggested Acoca. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The place has a nice coffee shop/cafe feel to it. It's spacious, well lit, and has plenty of options for seating. Got a friendly greeting and help with ordering. Ended up deciding on one of the Brussel Sprout Bowls, and the Lox/Egg Croissant. After putting the order in, including drinks, we got a number and waited at the table. The drinks came out in short order, and then the food a little after that. Everything was hot, well seasoned and good portions (I have never had that much Lox on a sandwich!). The Brussel Sprout Bowl had plenty of interesting textures with bacon, and nuts. The eggs were a perfect easy over. (one suggestion, we typically get our Brussel Sprouts a bit more roasted). Definitely a very good choice for breakfast. Would love to come back next time we are in town. read more

Been wanting to try this spot for a while now and finally got the chance. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. It has an artsy vibe with local art work featured on their walls Their serving sizes are quite large which was a pleasant surprise. We tried the breakfast burrito and the morning sprouts. Some of my favorite breakfast I've had in the downtown Appleton area, probably second to Author's. Service is relatively fast and we left with full stomachs and plenty of leftovers for later. read more

I throughly enjoyed Acoca for a late lunch in Appleton with my friend. I enjoyed a raspberry cremosa (pictures) and avocado toast (not pictured). I had never had a cremosa before - super tasty beverage for the afternoon! The toast was big and well-covered in avocado and pickled onions. It was served with a small fruit cup - fresh fruit! My friend got a breakfast sandwich and an iced matcha latte. She loved both. We were both impressed with the amount of offerings and cute atmosphere. Decent service. The burrito was mostly tortilla and cheese, but I liked the quality bacon. I had my first ACOCA Coffee experience this past weekend and they did not disappoint! I was looking for something lighter and the lox and bagel was the perfect lunch. I paired it with an Italian soda they had on special called the "Appleton Sunset" which was vanilla syrup, orange syrup, and seltzer water. It was delicious and tasted just like orange creamsicle. The building is very large with many different seating options. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a house coffee (med roast) and a light toast "pour over" as we passed thru Appleton. This is located downtown so not convenient for travelers unless you like to explore! We enjoy non- big name businesses, (mom n pop store are fun) snd we particularly love to discover local coffee roasters! Coffee was good, non bitter for us both. They only had 2 sugar free flavor syrups: hazelnut and vanilla, which was a bit disappointing. Their price was less than the big name stores but a bit more than expected since we did not order lattes, just coffee, cream and a shot of sugar free syrup was over $9 for two 20 oz coffees. The cups they use for coffees to go are not sturdy. Caution-- be sure that you check the barista's effectiveness at putting on your lid! We had a disaster and sadly spilled very hot coffee from the pour over all over the drivers lap. read more

Almost walked into IHOP since I was unfamiliar with the area. ACOCA is ON POINT. Wow. Blown away with delicious all day breakfast offering, fantastic staff and righteous roasts that percolated into a delicious americano. Found it by throwing open the Yelp App and so glad I didn't wait behind three parties at IHOP. Will return whenever I'm in town. ACOCA has great coffee and roasts their beans on site, which is really cool to find in Appleton. The setting is casual, and often pretty busy during the day. There is a small menu for breakfast and lunch. I really enjoyed the breakfast bagel. The lox was interesting as the bagel was on top of a salad and was kind of a build your own style. My sister ordered the avocado toast and was disappointed that it only came with one slice and a few of her fruit pieces weren't doing so well by the time they made it to her fruit salad. Overall it's a great place to stop for a quick breakfast or to work from during the day. read more

This place is so unique and all of the food and drinks were very good! Their white chocolate mocha is the best one I've had. There is also seating in the back of the coffee shop that is more secluded from the rest. It was busy when we went but the and food and drinks were still ready quick. Very nice employees! read more

Great service at this comfortable and homey coffee shop on College Avenue. The drip coffee tasted great, and did I see a bean roaster in the corner? I think so! They have tons of flavors to make your latte yummy, and for the kids a toasted marshmallow milk steamer should do the trick! One very cozy & hip coffee bar within the downtown Appleton area that is one of those locations that you just want to sit down & soak up the ambiance with a sponge. The coffee products? Pretty good, and served with a smile. The food? Quite a bit of choices from snacks & sandwiches. Location? Never better, despite there being limited street parking by the meters. Even still, there is so much going on within the adjacent city blocks that it should be reasonable to find parking. Super cute place! Randomly parked in front of this place when I went to dinner and decided to stop on my way back to my car. The vibe inside is very chill and quiet. The gentleman working was really kind, helpful and made my peppermint mocha taste delicious! You could tell he enjoyed being there. I got a cookie and muffin to go.. the cookie I ate on the way back to my hotel and the muffin is for in the morning since I keep sleeping through breakfast at the hotel. (I'm not a morning person!!!) would definitely recommend stopping. I only wish I would have stayed to enjoy my coffee there instead of going back to my hotel. read more
