This was my first visit, and it was long overdue! We arrived about 11:30 on a Sunday morning and the wait for a table of 2 would take 45 minutes. My friend and I wanted to wait, so we found a bench to chat and wait for our table. About 20 minutes into our wait, the hostess offered us two seats at the bar, if we wanted them. We agreed we wanted to wait, but we thought it was a nice offer. We didn't wait the full 45 minutes and we were seated and given menus. From the time we were handed menus until our food arrived was less than 10 minutes. We were surprised, given how busy it was. We both had breakfast. I recommend the Huevos Rancheros - it was delicious! We both enjoyed the Mimosas, with a lovely taste of lime! We enjoyed our visit immensely and we will be back soon!! read more

Hands down my favorite brunch place! The atmosphere is perfect for getting together with the girls or even a more intimate setting at the bar for a date! Wow!!!! Is all I can say about this place. I have never had such a great breakfast in my life. All of there ingredients are locally sourced and organic. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict and a latte with French vanilla. The salad served with the eggs Benedict were perfect. Eggs were poached perfectly, salmon was smoked to perfection and the presentation was to die for. The potatoes were season extremely well with a sweet balsamic reduction and Parmesan and a mix of cheeses. The salad was even better with a mixture of seeds and a beautifully done oil and vinegar dressing. Nothing was bad about this place. The service was amazing and the people were extremely friendly. I had a latte too and it was amazing. My husband had a standard breakfast fare of pancakes and sausage. He thought the sausage was hard but I thought he should have ordered something else. When I was told about this place I looked it up and was surprised that is was a farm to table restaurant really close to me. I thought I would have to drive to at least Milwaukee for a place like this. I went on a Saturday morning around 9AM and it was not crowded at all. We were sat very quickly and the server brought us a carafe of water to drink while we reviewed the menu. I ordered the omelette and a pancake on the side and my friend ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. All the food was delicious. The omelette came with a side of potatoes and a small salad. The omelette felt a little overcooked texture wise but it still tasted great. The pancake was amazing and I wish I opted in to the real maple syrup because thats the only thing that could make a perfect pancake better. I also ordered a coffee and they kept it filled. I think it was a darker roast than I normally drink but it still was hot coffee so I would order it again. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were fantastic. They didnt even need syrup as it came with a lemon crème anglaise. The pancakes also came with a side of fruit. All in all, the price was actually very reasonable for a farm to table restaurant. The staff from the host stand to the servers were fantastic. This will definitely be on the list for when I want to take someone to a breakfast place thats a little more special. read more

Hands down a favorite in Appleton, WI. The wait is usually less than 15 minutes but if you were to have to wait 20 minutes, it's totally worth it. Everything on their menu is good. Their coffee is great too. And then to make things a bit sweeeter, their bakery sooooo delish. Their seating is comfortable The parking is reasonable. Lighting is not too dim but not too dark. So glad we found this place! The wait was long on a busy Saturday morning but we were seated within the quoted wait time and I had an excellent latte from the coffee bar while I waited. We ordered the brioche French toast and the pulled pork Benedict. They split the plates for us so we could share and the portions were still big! The food was incredible. I also had a fresh made house juice blend which was excellent. Our server was so helpful in helping us decide what to order as we wanted everything! This place is fantastic. They have great selection of pastries, chai tea and food options. I had the huevos rancheros this time and it was creative and just the right size for brunch. I really enjoy their sandwich and salad options as well. I took one star away because my mom really wanted the eggs benedict but it was too large of a portion. They do not allow you order a half order and so there was a lot of food waste there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome brunch place. Will be back! read more

We had breakfast at SAP in early July and the food and service were excellent. The wait was not bad and their approximate wait time held fairly true. If you have little ones or anyone of any age can use the provided chalk and draw pictures and post their name etc. a real bonus for moms and dads that can occupy their little ones while waiting and probably hungry. The food we had today did not disappoint at all, eggs Benedict and eggs over easy. Probably will never make it back to Wisconsin, but if you are visiting, a strong recommendation. read more

very disappointing. The kitchen was so loud that it was difficult to hear person across table from me. All I heard were clattering dishes. It sounded like a cheap diner. This was true for both times that I tried to dine here. The food was hardly worth the price paid. You say that you do not use Sysco. I have seen the truck unloading in your back door. No small items either. The waffle and chicken was not enjoyable. The chicken was a big chunk of dry nothing plopped on a waffle. Why? This was the most delicious and impressive breakfast I have ever had. Everything about my visit to SAP was quality. The coffee was bold and flavorful, and every detail and aspect of my eggs Benedict was well-crafted and homemade. Our server was humorous and extremely responsive to our questions. He made some jokes and was quick to make sure our coffee shortage never lasted more than ten seconds. Additionally, the manager stopped by to say hello and thank us for our visit. Best breakfast place!!!! We drove to Appleton from Michigan for Monday Night Football (Go Pack Go!) and found this gem after looking on Yelp!! Fresh ingredients & great service!!! I had the corned beef hash - amazingly delicious!!! I asked for jelly with my toast and was brought this sauce made with all kinds of berries. It was like dipping sauce for toast. Yum!!! My husband had the classic eggs Benedict that he enjoyed. What was a surprising twist was the salad that came with every meal. A delightful addition to breakfast. Everything was beautiful and fresh and delicious. It came with a side salad that he gobbled up before I even had a chance to reach over and try it. I had the classic French toast with French bread. Absolutely delicious! Real maple syrup, fresh fruit. Waitress was amazing and nice and knew about every item on the menu. Service was alright. The food was unique, not in a good way in my opinion. They are trying way to hard to be fancy with the meals. If you want classic breakfast without any twists or special takes on the food this isn't the place to go. If you are looking to try something new you should give this place a try. This place can be summed up with one thing: they don't (or didn't at the time of my visit) have regular butter. I didn't like the cinnamon honey infused butter they had and they couldn't provide regular butter, which in my opinion goes to show that the focus on breakfast has been lost and they are trying to hard to reinvent something that is already awesome. read more

Came to SAP expecting it to be as good as Carmella's it's sister restaurant. We had onion rings, nicely fried but unseasoned, no flavor in them. The sauce was good though. My wife had a rueben which was good however the bread as it cooled became very hard leading me to suspect it was a little stale. I had the lamb burger special which had good flavor but they use thick cut bacon and as it waits in kitchen to be used on sandwiches became difficult to chew. The soups were good especially the chicken. For desert we had macaroons Which were tasty. We shared a choc mouse tart with raspberry and cream cheese ok except we needed a knife to cut through the crust I don't know if it was a little old or the dough was overworked before baking which at 8$ was disappointing. My daughter loves the salmon Benedict. I think we'll stick to Carmella's when in Appleton. read more

At the risk of being booed SAP is a good restaurant. They have good offerings but it's as-is. I think Appleton just needs more of these types of "fame-to-table" restaurants. They're picky about straying from the menu. For example, I asked for breakfast potatoes instead of fries and it's not allowed, which doesn't make sense to me. You're just swapping potatoes. The coffee drinks are overly sweet and in general it seems like a restaurant that's trying to be trendy but being more of the same suburban feel. read more

NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC I dined at Sap on Sunday and asked the waitress to make sure my meal was prepared gluten free since "I have celiac disease and will be very sick if it isn't gluten free." I double checked with her when she brought the food to the table and was assured that it was gluten free. On my way back to Milwaukee a couple hours after my meal I ended up at a rest stop off of the freeway throwing up to the point of vomiting blood. It was the worst physical pain I've ever felt in my life, and was the exact reaction I have when I ingest gluten. The restaurant assured us that they take these things very seriously, but I hadn't eaten anything else that day and ended up with rest stop toilet water splashing up into my mouth. I love this place! They never disappoint with menu selections and flavors. We enjoy the hip and casual ambience. The fact that I could order breakfast, lunch & dinner at anytime of the day (except benedict stops at 2pm) is great. I had the special of the day, fritatta with SAP sausage, potatoes and salad. The balsamic and the avacado creme made the dish! Each ingredient had it's own special flavor, if that makes sense, like the onions. Very tasty! My husband had the steak sandwich, shoestring fries and chicken soup. He liked it all, but couldn't really taste the bacon jam that he was looking forward to. I had chocolate mousse with blackberries which was rich and not too sweet and simply amazing. He had the key lime tart which was just like the authentic Floridian dessert that he loves.
