Fresh Start The Moving Crew responded to an initial inquiry in less than 2 hours. We looked at several different movers going from West Hartford, CT to Rockville, MD. From Day 1, Fresh Start was professional, fast, pleasant and accurate. There was no comparison to several other movers from small companies to large franchisees. Mary made the scheduling, on-site visit and estimate fast and direct. Calls were always answered and there was no question too annoying for them. Once move out day came, James (owner) and his crew were personable, helpful and understanding. My 89 year old mother was overwhelmed at the enormity of what she was facing, but Fresh Start provided plenty of support and confidence. Move in day went by in an instant - as a complicated (to my eyes) drop off in two places went smoothly. Heather (operations) arranged for a local crew to help James - who needs to be in the movers Hall-of-Fame. No problem too large for this company. Everything in stride. The final bill came in on budget estimate. A damaged lamp was replaced without hassle. My mom is now moved into her new place and is getting on with life. They're curtious and cautious with the way they handle the furniture. They do not waste time, but also do not rush the process. They take the time needed for careful planning ahead of the job to map out the most efficient route if the move is a longer distance. Easy ebb & flow the day-of. I had zero worries and was able to do what I needed the day of my move, while they took care of the rest. I had an extremely frightening experience with a Gallo Moving truck this morning on Route 138 in…read moreCanton. I was driving in the right-hand lane, preparing to get onto the I-95 ramp, when a Gallo Moving truck came off the highway and began moving directly into my lane while my vehicle was already there. Instead of slowing down or yielding, the driver continued coming over and literally forced me out of my lane. The truck came within about ONE INCH of my passenger-side mirror. I had nowhere to go and ended up stuck between the two lanes, basically creating a third lane. Cars traveling in the left lane actually had to stop because I was being pushed into their lane. This could have caused a very serious accident. There were three men in the Gallo truck, and I could not see a license plate on the vehicle. What is most upsetting is that this was not simply someone making a minor driving mistake. The driver continued to move into my lane even though my vehicle was right beside the truck. When you are driving a large commercial moving truck with your company's name on it, you have a responsibility to operate that vehicle safely. I am sharing this because people should be aware of my experience. The reckless driving I witnessed this morning put me and several other motorists in a very dangerous situation. Thankfully, the drivers around me reacted quickly enough to avoid an accident. I hope Gallo Moving takes this seriously, identifies the driver and truck involved, and addresses this before someone gets seriously hurt.

Both with different ways of doing business. Phillip Massad Movers.... A well known Family business with warehouses and storage facilities in shrewsbury and Worcester. They receive our clients goods, and deliver them to their home. You can pick up or have your items delivered. The second company is Rexton Movers owned by two brothers; they work with us and for the client, ivan and his brother Serghei will organize, pack, unpack, and are capable of assembling any piece of furniture or moving and rearranging any of the homes we do. We call them our "Macgyvers". Both companies are well respected; and we at Design Center West are proud to recommend them
