Food is great. Fresh tasting and light. One of the few places I can easily get food like this just simple chicken rice and veggies with good flavor. Very happy with the food. Not a 5 star just because some of the staff can be a little rude sometimes, though not as bad as a lot of places these days since 2020 happened. Mainly I just keep getting rushed when I come here and cut off mid sentence as I'm ordering. They sometimes rudely bark orders at other staff members across the kitchen. My family decided to try our first dinner from Santorini to celebrate the Ted Lasso season finale. It would have to be Greek or African and my family decided to go with Greek lol. This place had solid reviews with a few on the cautious side so we thought the experience may differ depending upon whom might be preparing the food. So in we went. I ordered a traditional gyro, dalmathes, Greek chicken salad and chicken fingers. They were emptied from a frozen bag into the fryer as were the fries that came with them. Both were not good. McDonald's frankly is much better and way less expensive. The gryo was really good. But it should be noted it isn't served on what I would call a traditional pita. It's more a fluffy tortilla in texture and flavor. The sandwich itself is huge and probably worth the $14 price tag. Everything is prepared well in advance and is set in containers on a counter so it won't be the quality of the chef that will dictate your experience. The chicken salad was much smaller by comparison. Healthy amount of chicken on the salad which had a lot of flavor and was well seasoned but ooohhhh soooo overcooked. Hard tough chicken that really took away from whatever good flavor it had. Not worth the $14 price tag at all. The grape leaves were very good but I had to ask the gentleman waiting on us to check in the back for ones in a refrigerator as the ones seen on the counter were the only ones not held in the refrigerated counter. When asked he said he thought they would be ok but had been sitting out all day. It was after 7pm when I came in. I will say the people waiting on you at the counter were extremely friendly and accommodating. Don't think I can quite recommend this place. It's ok. But not the value for what is charged. read more

I tried this place for the first time today. The place is nice, but the food was nothing special. Actually overpriced. Maybe the reason it was almost empty on a Saturday night. The gyros are big but I didn't like the meat. It looked like dry pieces were mixed with tender ones. At this price, $14 for a gyro, you should expect only tender meat. The flavors nothing special. The rice a little dry. My gyro had too many olives that were too salty. The place seemed clean and the people working there also nice. Disappointing about the food. This has gone from a favorite restaurant to dropping out because of the new pricing. I understand price increases but they jumped into a more nickel and dime model. $13 for a bowl is on the much higher side, and for my family, has crossed into something I can actually do as fresh but for less at home. I've eaten at Santorini's a few times. The first was right when it opened, and it was great. The employees were friendly, the food was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. However, each time I've eaten there since has gotten worse. Clean tables are hard to find - there's clearly no regular cleaning of them which is pretty gross. The employees are pretty robotic, which isn't a big deal since it's not really a "nice" restaurant in the first place, so I won't be including that in my rating. One of my biggest gripes is their system of measuring the food for the bowls. I asked for a little more feta cheese on a bowl and they said it was extra - absolutely insane to me. The already measly amount they provide isn't very expensive and it's considered a topping. It's like if one was to be charged extra for extra rice or beans at Chipotle. Lastly, the meat is not very fresh. Rather than having the lamb/beef stay on the rotisserie (how traditional Mediterranean shawarma meat is kept), they put it in bins and cover it. However, this lets the tips get hard and the meat is lukewarm when you get your bowl. Lastly, the past 2 times I've been in, it has been somewhat busy and there was an employee on break taking up an entire 4-person booth. Incredibly unprofessional. Really sucks to see this place go so far down hill since it opened. read more

Drove by this spot quite a few times seeing it under construction and saw that it finally opened so I decided to check it out. I was not disappointed. The place is really clean and fresh. It's actually quite a large space I was surprised when I walked in. Now onto the most important part of the review, the food. Good portion size and all the ingredients are fresh. It's kind of like spitz but more of a chipotle vibe where you have everything laid out in front of you and can pick and choose your toppings. Great sauces. So my family and I went for a Greek food at their new location here at riverton and we had the worst experience so we walked in and there is one young lady with the worst attitude she didn't welcome us in and also when we ask her few questions about how it works and how we order her responses were cut a dry , food was not good , super dry lemon chicken and their cart fries had no taste. I came to this place with high hopes for a delicious gyro similar to the many great kebabs I have had in Europe. I ordered pita with traditional gyro meat and the loaded feta fries and a drink. Total tab $23.30 plus tip. Definitely above average $$$. I was disappointed with the food. The pita was served on a large oversized tortilla, not a soft warm pita. The gyro meat was sliced thicker and served out of a warming tray, rather than sliced thin to order hot off the spit. As a result the meat was rather cold. The sauces seemed overly thick and cold. Definitely not up to European standards. The loaded fries were uninspired and the "loaded" toppings actually detracted from the basic fries. Still looking for a good Greek restaurant. read more

Aaaaamazing. Had the traditional gyro and it was like being transported to Greece. The meat was tender and flavorful, but the real standouts for me were the fries and the freshly baked pita. I have tried this eatery three times I wanted to give it a fair shake. I love Greek good and work close by. It's a alacarte walk up and order kind of place, my first visit I was with my young daughter and we had to literary yell for someone to come out from the back to wait on us. The help was less then patience with my young daughter in answering her questions to " build your own dinner ". Then a comment was made when I didn't tip when checking out ( my new pet peeve !) My second visit was with go workers I'd give my food a solid 2 stars. Third time was with my family. I still didn't love the food and my family was mixed on how they liked the food also.
