Just went in for popcorn! Discovered a popcorn vending machine from Santikos, which was a phenomenal idea. And worth giving them five stars Basically get whatever size you want and go to the popcorn, dispensing machine and voilà instant popcorn with the butter right there that you can layer yourself. Me and my wife had an amazing time here. It was our first time at the Palladium and the AVX theatre was great. We were having a little trouble buying our tickets in the front with the kiosk but a young man named Ethan saw us and helped us right away. After that, we went to concessions and bought ourselves popcorn and some drinks. The whole interaction went by super fast. Zhane was the worker helping us and she was super sweet. The one downside is that the theatre doesn't take tap to pay or cash but nothing too bad. All in all, great place and friendly staff. read more

Comfy seats but also why can I not bring even a WATER BOTTLE in? They have different people checking bags and it seems like each person has a level of strictness because some of my friends were able to bring in water. They do have free water cups but it's those small paper cones which feels like a joke. Especially with the Texas heat it's insane. After passing the Palladium for months, my ladyfriend and I finally got around to visiting this theatre as part of an early screening. Parking is easy (though they are a little light on handicapped spots), as is the entry, where there aren't any steps leading up to the entrance. Inside, it's spacious and well kept up; you won't find grimy carpets or torn curtains here. I didn't try the concessions but it looks like they have the standard offerings. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the seating inside is comfortable. In fact, kudos to them for making sure the restrooms and theatre seats were clean. We attended a movie premiere and were really looking forward to relaxing with a drink before the show. My husband went to the bar to order one beer and one frozen drink (one for each of us) while I held our spot in line. Despite both of us being well over 21, the bartender refused to serve him two drinks and insisted that I had to come up and show my ID in person. By the time I was able to leave the line, happy hour had ended, and we missed the special we came for by 1 minute. The bartenders were also not very friendly or understanding of the situation. What's frustrating is that their own posted bar rules say "One double per guest with a valid ID," which includes "any two 16oz frozen drinks or beers." That's exactly what he was ordering, two drinks total, and it fit within their stated policy. We've never had this issue at other theaters or bars before, and it really took away from what should have been a fun night out. read more

Won tickets from a yelp elite event. This was our 1st event with yelp. Was a little nervous because I had never heard of the movie, bit I googled before hand and I'm glad I did. It made me enjoy the move even more. The check in process was easy, kinda wish there was signage to show where to check in. But we just asked other people and they directed us on where to go. The movie it's self was soooo funny, we saw alot of our previous ourselves in the characters. My husband even got called out a few times. Lots of laughs were had. The movie was great however, an entire family had taken up the first row and they allowed their kids to yell, talk, and throw their cups and food around the entire time. People were really annoyed with it and had asked them to keep quiet and the parents did nothing still the entire time. It was frustrating because it was extremely distracting the entire movie especially while it was silent. I wish that there were employees monitoring the area every now and then because this was just ridiculous. Or that there should be a rule to younger kids at a theater. And after the movie ended none of the people in that family cleaned up after their kids or themselves. Very annoying. read more

I understand the prudence of a policy to check IDs to verify the age of those who look as old as perhaps 30, but might be younger than 21. I had a good experience here. The movie tickets, food and drinks may be a little overpriced, but they have awesome seating and very nice, large lounge type chairs that recline. I've tried the beer and wine from the bar which are not insanely expensive when you consider that most movie theaters do not have alcoholic beverages. $47 for two adult tickets and one kid, I think that's average for movie theaters these days. They also do great things, like free summer kids movies, $5 tickets for first responders and military. You can reserve your seats in advance and the shows I've been to were not overly crowded and the theater itself has only a few rows of seating to limit the amount of people, which is also nice. I think the slight difference in price compared to a more traditional theater is well worth the quality of the experience. I would recommend this location, it's huge with a lot of theater screens, concession stands, a bar, and it's clean. read more

My Favorite place to watch movies. We bought tickets for the Mezz which is definitely worth the price as the experience is great. You go upstairs to the adults only section which is clean and quiet. There are multiple theaters. We went into theater 18 which is all pods. You are in a pod that was two seats, and servers come to you. The pods are equipped with automatic recliners and there's three cup holders. I paid $36 dollars for the pair. I like it because I don't have to get up and refill my drink or get a snack in the middle of the movie. Everything was nice and I enjoyed our movie. I would recommend this experience and would say you need to try it at least once. read more

I got here 5 minutes before my movie and the manager told me I couldn't bring in my water bottle and had to take it out making us late for the movie. I explained to the manager I was an uncontrolled diabetic and it should have been an acceptable accommodation (my blood glucose was 358 btw). We then walked in late to the Odyssey on IMAX for my girlfriend and I's 1 month. It was cancelled 20 minutes into the movie. They refunded us but we had driven a hour to see it and it honestly feels like they don't care about their customer's experience whatsoever. read more

I went here a couple weeks ago because it was one of the few places that was showing the movie that I wanted to see. The movie was terrible and predictable. Thankfully I am reviewing the theatre and not the movie. I got to the theatre with plenty of time before my movie started. I had no issues finding a parking spot. When i got inside, I had a lot of time to kill so ordered a beer from the bar. The service was friendly and they got my beer out quickly. I paid and then had a seat at one of their many tables. After I finished my beer, I walked around the theatre. They have an upstairs area that was closed off at the time. They also have a nice arcade area. While it was closer to the movie's showtime, I made my way to the concession area and ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. I'm a bit of a picky eater so o ordered it with only meat, cheese and bread. The cheese steak was really tasty. I don't expect this all the time but this place seemed to make up for the lack of Peppers and Onions by giving more meat and cheese. I have added a picture so you can judge for yourself. The movie theatre had a casual feel with their reclining seats. The seats are very comfortable. They don't make for a good combination with a boring/predictable movie. I think that I fell asleep at some point during the movie. On the surface, it's nice looking theater; but their gift card policies are illogical. I live 30+ miles away and wanted to get a gift card (to give for Christmas). So I drove all the way here, for them to tell me their promo of buy $100, get $20, is only for online purchases. Ironically, their website doesn't say the purchase 'must' be made online for this. Since I bought the $100 before the concessions guy told me that, I'm leaving it at that. Clearly, the effort of coming in to patronize their establishment isn't recognized. My wife and I attended a special showing of the movie Ellen the Great tonight at the Santikos Palladium movie theater. We both recommend the Palladium and the movie. Let's talk about the theater. The seats are very comfortable. If you don't know , the seat recline and there is lots of leg room. The bathrooms were clean and there was lots of parking. As we were leaving I saw some interesting mid week specials, so if money is tight, check these specials out and see a movie with popcorn and a drink for a few bucks. This theatre needs a major upgrade. It's had some notable wear and tear since the last time I visited a few years ago. The seats were very worn down and tattered. The restrooms were very dirty, with a toilet that continued to flush nonstop. It just felt really gross and worn down. We didn't order food and opted for just watching the film. On 08/24/25, my group went to the K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing-Along--advertised as a sing-along event--only to be singled out and kicked out for using our phone flashlights while most of the audience was doing the same. No warning, no explanation. Worse, an employee put hands on a 13-YEAR OLD MINOR, shoving her toward the exit and grabbing jackets, bags, and phones. That's not just unprofessional--it's reckless and unacceptable. We visited yesterday 1-31-2026 and ordered 2 plates of food. We received our food and our strips were burned. They smelled burned but I tried a bite anyway hoping they'd pass since our movie was going to be starting soon. They tasted burned. I returned them and asked for a new plate. I was told it would be 5 minutes but they took 20 minutes! We missed the beginning of the movie. No apologies or even acknowledgement of the long wait. Very frustrating. I feel they were doing in retaliation but I was hesitant to complain in case they spit my food or something. Asking nicely for a new order made me nervous enough.
