So glad we chose this spot because I've always been wanting to come in to try all their delicious options and tapas they had to offer. Starting off with the parking and arriving here, they are very limited on spots and one way in and out. We got pretty lucky finding a spot close by and just walked right into the restaurant. Exterior is amazing with the dark and ominous look, but inside it has more of a mellow low lighting setting with a great layout for the bar and eating area. I decided to order a couple things to try them all out, but it all varied from $10-24. I personally liked the meatball and chicken skewers, but the lamb may have gotten my top vote. Good food, good drinks, and friendly staff make this a good spot to get together with friends. They have a full bar and craft some tasty cocktails. The wine selection was also impressive. The star is the food, though. There is a nice selection of small plates that will satisfy just about anyone. We ordered a lot of different things, but my favorite was the papas bravas. It was very busy the night we went and I suspect it usually is on a Saturday night. It can be quite loud inside, which makes it difficult to hold a conversation, but we still had a great time with our small group. My only concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I think they could do a better job of staying on top of that without sacrificing quality elsewhere. A dirty public space makes me wonder what's happening in the areas I can't see. read more

Went there last Friday evening for HH and left SO happy! The chickpea stew was a too little salty, but it was so delicious I almost didn't mind. As every other "spanish restaurant" it's not that impressive, the service was really slow and not very good except when it was time to bring the check, our waitress ran the cards and brought the check in less than 5 minutes but whenever we ordered simple things like 2 beers she would take 15 minutes. She also forgot to bring one of the dishes we ordered. Also, we asked if they had any Spanish beer and she told us the only one they had was Modelo... Modelo is not from Spain is from Mexico but okay. They have several plates that you will never find in any restaurant in soain so I think this is more like a fusion restaurant. The croquettes were served with sour cream which is another thing you'll never see in an authentic Spanish place but again. We said ok. The flavors overall were good but nothing special. read more

Since we had already put our orders in, I asked if we could simply move our drinks and the food once they arrived. The hostess said we couldn't unless we ordered more food at the table (ordering more drinks only wouldn't work). Seriously? - Ambience: It reminded me of Spain. I guess the highlight of my experience. - In sum: pricey tapas for their portion size if you are ordering alone; probably worth it if you are in a group of 2+ people and splitting 3+ tapas. A wonderful Tapas restaurant with great food and great prices. We got six dishes and it came out to less than $80 dollars (pre tip). Santiago's is the ultimately place for "dinner & drinks." I've never been for their brunch but I've heard amazing things. Their season cocktail menu is great and well-priced. All of their food items were to die for. The staff is very attentive and the service can't be beat. They regularly checked with our table, asked if we needed anything else, refilled our waters. The interior is eclectic in a charming way, service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. Out favorites were the Beef Short Ribs-very tender with a delicious glaze; the Saganaki-SOO good and it comes with warm, soft pita bread triangles that pair perfectly. We chose the dessert special-the Croissant Donuts. OMG they were the bomb!! 3 balls of warm, sugar coated goodness topped with a dollop of whipped cream, sitting on top of a blueberry reduction. I love a good tapas restaurant, and Santiago's is one of my go to's! My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a long work day. We didn't have reservations but luckily there was a table available for us, as long as we were finished with our meal in two hours. Once we were seated our server walked us through the happy hour specials for their drinks and tapas. We usually like to order several items and share at the table, with the saganaki being the MUST order item! We ended up choosing the bacon wrapped dates, mini quesadillas, spicy shrimp bisque, puff pastry, and the avocado & pear salad. By the time we devoured everything we were just full enough to call it an evening and skipped out on dessert. All of our food came out with good timing, so there was never a time where we were sitting and waiting for our next dish. This spot is a great place for date night or dinner with friends! Visited here with my nephew since we are not from Orlando. He ordered everything on the tapas menu and it was excellent. Loved the Beef Carpaccio, it was so delicate (+5), Dates and cheese, wrapped in prosciutto, dish was great (5), Shrimp and Chorizo was nice with a little heat to it. One of my favorites. Highly recommend the lamb it was tender and delicious. The Miniature Quesadillas was tasty and its something different. Beef Short Ribs were my favorite for the night. Gambled a little bit by coming here without a reservation, but we were quickly seated. The service here was very good, though our particular server was probably a little overloaded. She was excellent, but didn't come by as frequently as I would have liked, given that it is a tapas place. I would give the food here a "B" overall, with some dishes bringing the grade up to make for some things that were pretty lackluster. We had the potato and leek soup with bacon. It was good but could have had some more flavor to it. We had the bruschetta which was tasty but somewhat overloaded with tomatoes in a way that left the bread soggy. This would be less of an issue if you had a table of 4 because each piece would be eaten before becoming soggy. We had the yellowtail ceviche which was good but somehow had some pieces of fish that had a gristly texture, which was something I've never experienced. It was otherwise very good. We had the meatballs which really let us down. They were flavorful but dry as a bone. We had the tenderloin which was amazing. The highlight was really dessert. I've been here a couple of times, the ambiance is nice, menu options are good, food is consistently yummy and service has always been great. I hear the happy hour and brunch is awesome, which I haven't gotten to try yet but make sure you check that out. There is parking behind the restaurant but it's very limited, so you might have to look for street parking depending on when you decide to go. I wish there were more shareable tapas to choose from on the menu so that's why I'm not giving 5 stars. The portions are pretty small so you need to order a good amount for you and your party to be fully satisfied. I consider myself a bit of a French Onion Soup connoisseur and theirs just missed the mark. There were just too many onions and the broth was slightly cloudy (not the way it should have been). I had to reduce by one star for this. If this was supposed to be their spin on the classic soup then they need to make that clear. This is my first time back for brunch since they changed from buffet to unlimited tapas and mimosa or sangria. There is a 2 hour limit, but everything came out relatively quickly so you can enjoy tapas and as many drinks as you'd like. The server was attentive and checked in to put in additional orders. We shared peel & eat shrimp, candied bacon, frittata, hashbrown casserole (unexpectedly the fave), pasta carbonara, and kale salad. We went to Santiago's on a Wednesday night and it was a nice, fun environment. We sat at the bar around 9pm, to avoid the 30-minute wait, and did not have any issues with service. The restaurant has tapas-style menu items, at least for dinner; and we ordered beef short ribs, Roman meatballs, beef tenderloin, and patatas bravas. The beef short ribs were absolutely delicious! So tender with great flavor. My next favorite was the beef tenderloin; I love different sauces, and the bleu cheese on the tenderloin complemented the tender meat. Next up would be the patatas bravos. The added capers was a nice touch for this rich tasting dish; however, keep in mind, it's quite filling. Lastly, the Roman meatballs were just okay; a bit bland tasting. I will not order them again. Overall, we had a great time at Santiago's. Good food, good service, and we met some great people!! Last night we visited Santiago's. This was my 2nd visit and my SO's first visit. I was surprised that they weren't too busy, so we were easily able to get a seat outside. They have so many great options to choose from, and we couldn't even have it all since we were so stuffed! Our favs from the night were the beef tenderloin, the burrata, and the Brussel sprouts. We were torn on which dessert we liked best, I liked the bread pudding and he liked the cronuts. Also delish was the beef short ribs and the mushroom puff pastry. This is my second time here and both visits were awesome! The first time I came late in the evening with friends for the late night happy hour. We sat at the bar and ordered one dish after another and absolutely everything was amazing!! I thought about the beef carpaccio for days following my visit. This time was Sunday afternoon, after church. I came around 2:30 which was just after brunch, which apparently is lit! I opted to stay and wait for dinner service to began. I was sat at a 2top and Karen quickly came by and introduced herself. Throughout my stay Karen and the whole team really was very attentive; clearing plates, replacing flatware, refills, bringing the food. It's cramped and the decor could use some refreshing. During brunch at full capacity the ambiance was bustling and a little loud for my preference. The photo was taken on a Sunday just after brunch ended and at shift change, it wasn't busy at all.
