Visited this spot to celebrate my Dog's 6th birthday because they have a special dog food menu, and surprisingly his food looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. It was all dog friendly ingredients and extremely heavy on the protein. My dog was so excited he was shaking and after eating the meal he was noticeably excited at home and wouldn't stop playing. Honestly, the meal was so good on the portion, and for the price probably enough to fill him for the whole day. Enough about the dog meal, the food menu is fairly small, but all the meat and flavoring was amazing. The pork sandwich was juicy and tender without falling apart too much. I remember trying their food truck back in the day and liking it, so happy to see they have a brick-and-mortar operation now. It's fast casual counter service, you can get right to the food shortly after arriving. Limited menu, but what I tried was really good! Lomo Saltado Sandwich: I love lomo saltado. Like it may possibly be my favorite dish from Latin America. So this sandwich was right up my alley. I was a little worried that it may be too carby given that there were fries on bread, but it was fine. The bread did a good job soaking up all the great sauce, which is normally the job of rice. The wet spots were especially nice bursts of flavor. There was a tiny bit of lettuce a little cream sauce, but the rest was your standard issue lomo saltado. Loved how they went heavy on the garlic in the stir fry. The beef cubes were tender and full of flavor. Just the right amount of onions, tomatoes and fries to add some complementary flavor but not dominant. I'm a fan! Yuca Fries: Figured this would just be yuca and maybe the yellow sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised to find cheese on top. Two types of cheese to be precise! One was a like squeaky queso fresco, though had a bit of saltiness like feta. The other seemed like a hard shredded cheese, related to parmesan. Both were great against the perfectly crispy yuca fries, which had a nice soft pasty inside. The yellow sauce added an extra layer of flavor, for a full on flavor explosion. Chicha Morada: Sweet base with nice pleasant spices mixed in. Kinda feels like a Christmas drink, especially if it were to be warmed up, but you can drink year round! read more

Visited on a Saturday night around 7:15pm with a friend. The restaurant had a few tables seated but wasn't too busy. Placed order at the counter and servers brought out our food after about a 10 minute wait. Food: Pan Con Chicharron - sandwich with roasted pork, fried sweet potato/ yam, lime marinaded onions, cilantro and chili aioli, this was pretty good, really like the brightness of the onion and herb contrasted with the richness of the pork and aioli which was flavorful but not really spicy, the sweet potato added heartiness and sweetness. Service was fine, fast casual, water was self service, no complaints. They do have a restroom available. Overall a nice casual spot to grab lunch or dinner in the mission. After tax and tip meal came out to almost $21 for a average sized sandwich, so a bit steep in price point. It was good but not quite worth the price point to me. What a cute little lunch spot!! They have excellent sandwiches and skewers, and the service is so fast. I recommend checking into the restaurant on Yelp before ordering for a 10% discount! We tried the Chicharron sandwich and the chicken skewers, and both blew our expectations out of the water. I have been ordering takeaway about once a month since moving into the same building a few years ago. My favorite is the chicken skewers. There used to be a salad but it has gotten smaller and smaller--today it was ONE lettuce leaf. There used to be a little container of extra sauce for the potatoes--that has disappeared.
