Nice mural to eat the yummy cheese goddess pupusas! Yum! 415 Yelp promotion introduce me to this place
Priscilla L.

Small hidden corner cafe in sleepy neighborhood of the mission a block down the main 24th Street on Treat Street where people playing Soccer. 415 Yelp introduces me to another location I never been to. Friendly cashier lady that delivered my food to my table. Nice and sunny, warm day the Mission District has. Felt safe to relax and eat my yummy pupusas on one of the outside picnic bench as it overlooks the park of kids playing soccer across the street. I tried the cheese, beans and pork one and the cheese and zucchini. Both served hot with side of cabbage slaw and hot red sauce. The most simple one tastes the best if you want to taste that wholesome cheesy goodness. The cheese, pork and bean one was filled with a lot and I didn't really taste the cheese. The fillings overpowered the cheese. It was a tasty meal and my tummy is happy. Sure I would like to come back here if I am in neighborhood. Thanks Yelp for introducing me to new restaurants that I haven't heard before! :) Time to explore more of the Mission District.

So I told my boyfriend as we were driving to South SF that I was craving some pupusas. He told me to check what the Yelp 415 collection had to offer... and of course... pupusas were on the list of deals!! (My life is a movie sometimes.) The Yelp 415 Deal for this IS a total WIN. You get any 2 kinds of pupusas for $4.15 as long as you check in through the Yelp app! (WARNING: You need to spend at least $10 if you're paying with card and DON'T want to be charged an extra $2.75 for card fees). Me and my boyfriend each got 2 pork and cheese pupusas. My boyfriend got it with the spicy sauce and I got it with the non spicy sauce. The pupusas were made FRESH -- we saw them hand make it as we were waiting inside. Just seeing this made my tummy so happy... I just knew in my heart and gut that it was gonna be delic. We also ordered an iced coffee so that our total would reach at least $10. This is sooo strong and def taste like coffee. But let's talk about the main star of the show: the pupusas were absolutely TASTY!! Every bite was better than the last... My fav bite is when you add some of the sauce with some of the curtido and the pupusa. Freakin amazing. It's so freshly made that I immediately burned the roof of my mouth on the first bite. My bad!! Got to excited. El Paraiso is located on the corner of the street and there is plenty of street parking nearby. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and a park right across the street. Staff is so kind too! Love this place!! Their pupusas are such a good choice and I am for sure keeping this place on my radar.

Hot and fresh pupusas, perfectly cooked

I found this place through the #yelp415deal and I'm so glad I came. The pupusas were made-to-order so they were hot and fresh. We got the cheese and loroco and cheese, beans, and pork. I had no idea what loroco was but the lady was nice and explained that it was a flower/vegetable. Both were super tasty. This place is no-frills and also serves American-type breakfast with a couple tables inside and outside. It's a little off the beaten path, but I will definitely be back for more pupusas!

Outisde!

Came here for the 415 deal with Yelp, 4.15 for any 2 pupusas (up to $8 value). The ladies running the business were so nice, friendly and welcoming! Ordered 4 total Pork and cheese pupusas and man were they delicious! They are handmade on the spot which only added to the overall experience. Their curtido and spicy sauce (spicy/non spicy choices) were so tasty, every bite just continually kept getting better. There's a bunch of parking in the area, cute outdoor seating and friendly vibes. TLDR: Will be coming back to support this business and to eat more delicious pupusas!

Eggs, Platanos, frijoles, y queso is great! Sweet & friendly service. Tastes from home. Outdoor Covid seating. Pleasant view of park. Fresh handmade tortillas.

The most authentic papusas you will find in San Francisco. Everything here is good, they make the tortillas of my dreams.

The restaurant has an upstairs as well. Our server was very nice and pleasant to speak with. Gave us some recommendations on the menu as well as drinks. We started with a cocktail and a glass of red wine. For our appetizer we had the Pulpo, coliflor and Hueso Asado. The pulpo which is octopus was nice and tender. Really delicious. The coliflor was okay. It was a little dense for me. The Hueso Asado was scrumptious, buttery and full of flavor, but half of a bone marrow was too small for an appetizer and only served with 4 small thin crostini. For entree we had the Ojo de Bife and Malbec short ribs. The Ojo de Bife which is the rib eye was delicious and grilled perfectly. The meat was not as tender, but the meat itself had a lot of flavor. The short ribs were excellent! Very tender and scrumptious. I would order this again. They should bring back the beef tongue or Lengua. I heard it is a must try. Anyway, we had a great time. It was a great atmosphere and love the vibe on this place. Would definitely come back!

OMG SO GOOD! I didn't expect it to be so tasty! (We just needed a lunch spot that wasn't closing…read moreand didn't seem overhyped.) Stopped by after the farmer's market - and Cholita Linda's seemed like a great spot to try. The line was a bit hefty even at 2pm, but the sandwiches looked so good! We went with the baja fish taco and asado (Peruvian roast beef) sandwich with a strawberry agua fresca. Water is self-serve, and you get the buzzer thing to notify you of your food. I loved the sandwich so much - bread was tasty, meat was juicy and delicious, and I just mowed it down. I honestly wanted a papito too because steak and plantains sounds so good too - but stuck with asado and no regrets there too. (There'll be a next time right? :)) Absolutely would come back here despite the options available at the Ferry Building - wish there was a closer location in the Peninsula :)

I got two baja fish tacos and a bottle of Sprite. My total came up to $14.01. The pricing is fair and actually much cheaper than other food establishments, especially in SF. The tacos were good, the fish was fresh and crispy. The batter was perfect. The salsa mixed with the crema, in my opinion helped to seal the flavor of the tacos. I filled up with the two tacos. I know that I will come back to get some more fish tacos in the future. But, also curious and wanting to try their carnitas. Next time for sure. We chose to sit outside to take advantage of the gorgeous weather California, well that the Bay Area is experiencing. It was unseasonably warm for a "winter" day in SF. The views are great, but be careful of the wandering seagulls lol. They love to eat at Cholita Linda too! :) We came on a Friday during lunch and it was relatively busy but we were able to place our order, get a buzzer and pick up our food quickly. The great thing about eating here is that you can take a stroll around the Ferry Building, window shop and maybe get some dessert as well in the other shops. Not to say that Cholita Linda doesn't offer dessert, they do, but I was stuffed and couldnt have a bite of anything else. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean. Loved the colors and the overall vibe of the location. My friends loved their food too. Girls lunch....success!!

A wonderful gem in the north Mission…read more We arrived at Poc Chuc at around 7:40 on a Saturday to order some food to go. When we arrived the place was pretty empty, and the server was eager to help us. We put in our order to go and waited. But it does not end there, since we were waiting in the restaurant, the server brought us not only chips and salsa, but a few welcome drinks as well which were delicious. It was so kind of her to do that even if we were ordering to go. The food was also absolutely incredible. The tacos are $6 which originally shocked me, but once I got the taco I understood. They were very large, filled to the brim with rice and protein. I could barely get through one and a half. The tortilla is homemade and you can taste the quality. I got the Mole and Chicken Salsa and they were both so juicy, flavorful, and well seasoned. My other friends got the Poc Chuc (a classic pork dish) which got rave reviews. So excited to come back here and try more of the menu.

Unique tacos you won't find anywhere else done with a level of quality you pray for when entering such a taco place. A beautiful experience at a beautiful restaurant. Will be recommending to friends- thanks poc-chuc!
