There were plenty machines, a few moderately large machines there, but they don't clean them as well as some other places I've been to. I came late, and was approached by an older lady that I wasn't sure was an employee or just a fellow laundry washer , and she just simply said I have to be out by 11. I said oh, yes no problem. I ended up finishing my washing at about 10 after, and they weren't hounding or harassing me to leave. They were just quietly working, washing fluff n fold laundry, I think. The environment is quiet and the dryers seem to work fast for how much clothes I had, the washers just need some work, they have built-up grime and smelly, the detergent drawers are fully gunked, TLC is needed here. The state of the machines plus the rather spartan customer service are the only reasons I wouldn't give 5 stars. Appreciate them being open late till 11pm. read more

I've been to a lot of laundromats in the Antelope Valley, and Sandy's Coin Wash is by far the best. The place is always clean, bright, and well taken care of. The machines are modern, easy to use, and they handle large loads perfectly--which saves me time and money. What I really appreciate is how late they're open; it makes it so convenient to get laundry done after work without feeling rushed. I dread going to laundromats because of the hassle of loading clothes in and out of units plus the car. Also most places are dirty or grungy. Unfortunately I had to go a couple of nights in a row. I was not disappointed, Sandy's was clean, well lit and had friendly staff. The bathroom was decently clean as well. It does get crowded though. Went three nights a in a row Sunday through Tuesday and it was equally crowded regardless of the day. I was shocked and excited to see that they took tap/card payments. It was a hit and miss getting it to work but pretty cool nonetheless. read more

the lady is super not helpful the dryers barely spin and sometime it'll upload the money to the wrong dryer and she won't accommodate and turn another dryer on for you. Just be careful watch what your doing and what's going on could be a waste of money and time. read more

Overall, this is a good laundromat. There are some things that bother me as a customer outlined below: 1) It's always just a bit messy. Not too messy where I don't want to wash my clothes, but just enough to make me uncomfortable. Having an attendant clean every few hours would help. Plenty of laundromats I've been to throughout the country have attendants and it really helps the cleanliness factor. 2) Prices are a teeny bit higher than I would like. The double load washers are $3 where most other laundromats are between $2 - $2.50 for double load. The dryers are $0.25 for 5 mins while most other laundromats are $0.25 for 7 mins. 3) Some of the machines could use servicing. The machines are in okay working order, but there are times that I load my clothes, add my coins, close the door, attempt to start the machine and it says "door". (Meaning the door isn't closed and the machine won't start until the door is closed) So I have to keep opening and closing the door to get the washing machine to turn on. This has happened multiple laundry trips. 4) During the day, the dryers in the back are guarded by the wash and fold workers. One of my first times going to this laundromat, I did not know this and was trying to put my clothes in the dryer. One of the attendants jumped in front of me and blocked a dryer with her cleaning cart. I thought that was strange, so I kept walking towards another dryer. Finally a different worker informed me these dryers are off limits until 5pm. I found that first worker to be quite rude with how she handled the situation. She could have just said, "These are for wash and fold" instead of pushing her cart into my path. So just be warned, the dryers in the back are off limits until 5pm ;-) Overall, this laundromat is fine, it does the job. It's in a decent area of town and I feel safe doing laundry here so I keep coming back. Clean enough, good enough. read more

Very clean and well kept. They have an attendant on duty that maintains the facility. They have plenty of washers and dryers as well as oversized machines for larger items such a bedding. I used their services 2x in the last month while waiting for my new washer and dryer to arrive . The first time, was great! I was impressed how clean and orderly everything is was. The attendants were super nice and accommodating. The next time, 2 of the washer broke and i had to move my dripping wet clothes from those machines to different ones and had to pay again , and wasted 2 hours on waiting for my clothes to get done and dried . I informed the owners about it and asked for a refund - $4.50 x 2 , and the man said he was going to refund me the following day. I left my phone number with him and expected a call but its been a week and i have not heard from them. poor customer service! read more

Sandy's Coin Wash - Laundry Services Near Me - Lancaster, California

I wish to express my praise for Sandy's Coin Wash. It had been over a year since I had taken my Breathable Car Cover here to be washed, and I used Oxy-clean, instead of detergent. Unbeknownst to me at the time, it was a bad move. As it turned out Oxy-clean is not a detergent and does not dissolve very well, and it got embedded into the woven fibers of my Car Cover. As a result, each time I placed my Car Cover onto my black sports car, it would become sprinkled with white granules of Oxy-clean from bumper to bumper. Although I had been into Sandy's to wash it once or twice since then, to try to rinse it out, the problem persisted. In one last effort to remedy my problem, I mentioned it to one of the staff and they in turn contacted the Ownership. Right away I was offered a complimentary "Wash and Dual-Rinse" in the hopes that the cleansing product I used would finally be dispersed. After a couple of hours, while watching a Football game on their nice Color Television (with sound), I was able to "tackle" the issue and get results. Although I was not able to get the Oxy-clean Granules completely out, I was very happy with the cooperation and service provided by the two Assistants that were on duty. They were willing to re-start the Jumbo Machine as many times as I needed to wash all of the Oxy out, but I decided to stop at three tries. During the process it became clear to me that due to the size of my one piece car cover, no matter how many times I ran it through the rinse cycle, there would always be a certain amount of residue/granules trapped in it's folds. Continuing to run it through the machine was fruitless. It was time to go "Old School" on it. Meaning, I would need to string this thing up on my Patio and hose it down and bat it with a broom until all of the granules are dispersed. Long story-short, Sandy's is a great place to go if you want good customer service, and want to do business with people that care about their business. Which unfortunately is a problem here in the Antelope Valley. They also have Drop-off/Fluff & Fold Service as well and so if you are a person on the go, you may want to check it out. PS - They have Free Wi-Fi, something that I think was implemented after I suggested it to management during one of my visits a while back. And so if you run a small home office like I do, but are concerned about down-time while away from home, this is the place to come to. read more

I used to wash comforters that did not fit in my front loader at home but a couple times the washer would leave black marks so now I just wash my shop towels here. There are plenty of washers and dryers and lots of space for you to relax. They have a coin machine and plenty of carts/baskets for your laundry. I would say a pretty decent laundry mat facility, from a 1-10 with 10 being the best and 1 the worst... I would give it a 9. Why? The facility was clean, the availability for machines were very good and decent, but I happen to be folding my belongings next to the Fold-n-Fluff girls and they were chatting away about bed bugs a client mentioned she had after they were finished with her bedding linens and the other girl started with something that her boyfriend contracted from shaking someone's hand and had to take medication to treat himself and describing what it was he had in very descriptive details that seriously grossed me out. This establishment is the Best and Only place to do your laundry in Lancaster!! I've been a customer at his location for about a year or so and I've never had any problems. The machines work, but when they are down (which is rare because they are typically serviced the next day) or they happen to take your quarters without starting, the staff are there immediately to help you. Arlene and Jaime in particular are very nice, friendly and welcoming!! My young daughter loves to come with her daddy to "do laundry" while watching the ladies work, at times talking their ears off while eating ALL of their candy!! I've been coming here for 3 years now because of the availability of the machines and location is a bit out of my way but I liked the customer service. I'm new to the area, so I'm glad that we were able to find a laundry mat close to home. I've been here when it's so busy that it's hard to move a cart around, but I've also been here with 3 other people at the mat. I've never had any issues or gotten bad vibes/looks from there people. I've never had any issues with the machines either. I've washed anything between 2 small loads to 8 big loads. There are two ladies who work there that mainly focus on their own laundry using all the machines on the east wall. I don't know their hours, but I would try to go while they aren't working since they take up a good amount of machines. In the last two months that I have been there, only once was the floor super dirty with lint and random socks. At that time, the ladies who work there were there and they could have quickly vacuumed the place, but they ended up leaving around 8/9pm on a Sunday. read more
