He then proceeded to ask ME to pay for his drying and who knows if this man is violent if he has a weapon or what I asked for a voucher as well and was told next time tell him no. The lady that was in the laundromat did not tell me it was closed it was 8:30 and I put my clothes in the washer and added the soap and everything and I told her the machine wasn't working and she told me the laundromat is closed but they close at 10. I'm not a person to make a huge issue but as a worker at least offer to help me when my clothes was already filled with soap. I don't care about getting my wash done I understand but the lady was not nice at all. She was very rude and acted like she didn't know english. read more

Great facility. Women who work there are constantly cleaning!! Cleanest machines I've ever seen, anywhere!!! It isn't the best area, however there is staff there during all open hours to keep unsavory elements away from customers. If you have a problem with someone, just report it to the attendant and they will take care of it!! All Electrolux machines...they are hands down THE best, both for clean clothes & the environment!! They use less soap(try it, use 60%(~2/3) of the detergent you normally use, clothes will be just as clean & smell just as fresh!!), less water, come out of the machine after spin cycle drier than others, so less time in the dryer(you won't need 2 dry cycles!! Like ever) Super clean restroom, friendly attendants, and LOVE the 60 for 50 special(it was 50 for 40 & I will admit that since it changed to 60 for 50, we now do our laundry elsewhere....used to spend 80 every visit, now it's 100, can go to another laundry for 75, not worth 25 extra while having to visit the ghetto, $5more was worth it only because I LOVE Electrolux machines(its what we had at home-now in storage)) read more

I always come here to wash heavy duty items like throw carpets, and bedding. The washers are always in order, they have different sizes available. It's always clean. Theirs always attendants ready to help you, and they are always cleaning the machines too. Only down fall is the parking is very limited, only one restroom, not many seats, and no sink available. read more

Come to wash clothes they decide they want to do maintenance on the dryers and tell you to go dry on the other side of the laundromat. There are no available dryers so you're sitting here with wet clothes, unable to dry clothes when you tell her she said there's nothing she can do about it. Why do you pick the worst time to clean out the dryer so why wouldn't they be done at night time during closing hours not during rush-hour when people are trying to wash clothes and get their things done. The one in PALMDALE has machines that will shut off exactly at 8:29pm on the dot. Doesn't matter if you have all your clothes already in the machine, soap added and everything, it will shut off precisely at that time. There are no signs in the store saying this of course, so you will not be able to wash your clothes and there are no refunds. Of course I go there my first time and am trying to figure out why the washer won't start even tho I've done everything right. The owner should at least have it posted somewhere in the store that the machines are all useless after 8:29pm. What a waste of time! Do not come here! read more

"Lupe" The attendant that has found a way to be rude to me every visit, I have witnessed her being rude and disrespectful to other customers in the past. I have now even read other reviews describing her "unusually thick fake eyelashes" she for some reason enjoys pissing off customers. Save yourself and your blood pressure and find another place to spend your money. "Lupe" who closes off fire exits to make her job easier, Closes off dryers and makes the whole laundry mat squeeze into one area to dry, again, to make her job easier. She closes off a whole isle at a time so she can mop, telling everyone they have to wait. She told me to "hurry up" to get my clothes out of the dryer she closed off seeing my clothes were about done. What gives her the right to deny me access to my property? All just to make her life easier, meanwhile she's rude to everyone! Please replace this employee, your customers deserve better. Most spend 200$ or more a month here. 50$ weekly for a small family. Please gives us better than this. Update: The following week, I witnessed a different new employee, (not Lupe, the one who started with Lupe), throwing out a customers clothes! Into the dumpster outside. The customer came in after about 25mins after putting her clothes into the washing mashing in the same row the employee was cleaning, I came in after and witnessed the employee taking clothes out of that machine, so when the customer started asking people around her if they had seen where her clothes went, I told her to ask the employee that I saw taking clothes out of that machine. The employee denied it ever happened. After the customer was very persistent about it THEN the employee (she left before I could get her name) took the customer out to the dumpster and said "maybe someone threw it away, I'll help you look for it" low and behold the customer found her clothes in the dumpster behind a locked door. Shady, foul, shameful people they have hired. I have contacted the owner, number leads to a "customer service" message center. They claimed to watch the videos, Claimed this is not policy, (hope not!) This happened on Wed afternoon around 1:30/2:00pm. No shame. Fire these horrible employees that you have hired. Horrible customer service! I arrived there at 8:20, it was my first time and I spent $10 on a card. The attendant lady with the unusually thick lash extensions and horrible unprofessional English (this is not a language barrier, this "Maury-guest" English), waited until 8:30 to tell me to hurry up and the machine wouldn't even start anyway. I was driving to a laundromat in Lancaster (which was nice and clean but I hate driving that far just to do laundry) and this place is way less of an ordeal to get to. It's very clean, the washers and dryers are efficient, and there has always been an attendant on site. As with all laundromats though, I wish more was done to keep people from soliciting in the business. I had a dude trying to talk to me about Jesus get very close to me and when he said hello I got startled and yelled at him quite loudly to leave me alone. I just want to wash my clothes without being hassled. Other than that, great place and most clean, affordable coin less laundry in Palmdale that I've found so far. read more

Here is why I switched to using this location for my laundry needs: 1) Credit and debit cards accepted. I rarely carry cash, and especially in east Palmdale I prefer not to carry it! 2) Open late. I work a LOT and super late, so I barely have any time to go to any laundromat, but with Lucy's as long as I get it started by 9:30pm, I am in the green to get it washed and dried in an hour and a half or less. 3) Safer location. I notice that police and security tend to watch this location at night. 4) HUGE machines and well-maintained modern machines. I can get the laundry done FAST, and my clothes get cleaned and smell good unlike some other places. Also fitting everything into an 80lb washer with plenty of room for suds 'n' water is awesome. 5) Friendly and helpful staff. I have had problems with machines not reading my cards sometimes, and every time I needed help the staff would make sure I got the help I need. There is this one attendant in particular who works at night; she is always very nice when I need help even when I am swearing at the machine haha. 6) Clean. The machines, floors, and tables are always clean. AND they provide hand soap if you need to wash your hands. Restroom is clean too, and you don't have to put quarters in there to go pee unlike other places. The ONLY issue I have is that it is more expensive here than other places. BUT with all the pros I mentioned above it is WORTH the $$$. read more

I washed my pure white cali king comforter. It came out the washing machine with black crap stuck to it. The attendant pointed me to a sign that states the facility is not responsible for damage of your items , then she said they only offer a free wash. I used another machine and the crap came off. The facility is kept clean. The big machines are limited. I think it was $8 for the hughe washer I used. They have vending machines for supplies and snacks. I wouldn't come alone at night. Everything is hanging out here. A lady in a mobile wheelchair ask me to help her go to the bathroom. WHAT. That's a set up. You have to put cash on a card. I don't know if this was expensive because I have machines at home, but the comforter is too big. Plenty of parking. Located in a lot with fast food. For me this experience was a little much. I do not miss laundromats. I gave two stars because of the free wash. read more

I come here to do my laundry every time we are camped over in Acton. I would actually prefer to do my laundry here than at the laundromat on site where we are staying. I think their prices are fair but I'm really impressed that there is always an attendant on duty and he is very attentive to his job. This place is very clean and the washers don't have that musty smell. Even when an article of clothing falls on the floor (wet or dry) I don't feel like it needs to be rewashed! And their dryers actually dry on the first try!! I feel safe, my clothes are clean and lots of clean tables to fold on! I highly recommend! read more

Regular customer here. Always had ok experiences until tonight. I came in an hour before closing time to use the dryers; another family was there folding their clothes as well. The night employee in there didn't do anything, or say anything to any of us. However, as soon as the famiky left and it was just me, he kicked me out even though there was still 20 min before they closed because he wanted to go home. I was left outside with all my unfolded clothes stuffed in trash bags he gave me waiting until my ride came back. Unbelievable. Currently I'm sitting on top of a machine at Lucy's, going on my third hour waiting for an attendant to show up! My clothes have been locked in a machine since around 11-11:30am it's now 2:20 pm and still no sign of an attendant I wonder how long it will take for them to get back from whatever is more important than their job! I have been fortunate to have NEVER use a laundromat in my life. But circumstances has changed and now I have to wash clothes in a laundromat. I've had to use 2 other laundromats that contained broken machines, dirty, and empty laundry dispensaries. I found Lucy's Laundry on Yelp and although the reviews were mixed, I tried them out due to the pics! They have T.V's, chairs to sit down, Laundry supply vending machine. It was nothing I've ever seen before. 80lb, 50lb, 45lb washing machines and dryers. Ample space to fold. A clean restroom. It cut my laundry day in half. I live in Rosamond and it's worth the trip! So disappointed. Trying to wash clothes on a Tues morning 3/17/15 8:45am before going to work. Needed the attendant to wash out the machines I wanted to use. No where to be found on the premises. I finally found per another customer's last sighting across the parking lot at the Agua Pur store. When I asked for her, an older gentleman came from the back office of the store and beckoned for her. She came a few seconds later out from the back office, grabbed her broom and dustpan and proceeded to go clean the machines I needed. Afterwards, no apology made, she walked back to the Aqua Pur store to hang out again. I would have contacted her supervisor but the number is disconnected.
