My wedding was nearly ruined because of the irresponsible staff at this cleaners. I dropped off my wedding dress on July 26. Three employees promised to complete the alterations by August 4: shorten the length, shorten the train, take in the hips, and add a slit. After paying in full, I expected my dress to be ready on time. Starting August 2, they stopped answering my messages. When I arrived on August 5, they told me they needed two weeks and had not even started working on my dress. With only one day left, I gave them a chance to fix it, since I had no other option. Overnight they completely ruined my dress: they unnecessarily took in the waist (which I never asked for), cut the length shorter than requested (I asked to keep it long enough to cover the shoes), left the train unfinished and simply pinned with a safety pin, and made the ugliest slit I have ever seen. That was the dress I had to wear for my wedding. They refused to help or correct their mistakes and instead wished me "good luck," telling me the dress was beautiful as it was. They also kept my good hanger, returning the dress on a cheap wire one, poorly pressed the groom's suit pants, and gave my dress back dirty, with black streaks. Their shop itself was dusty and unclean; after trying on my dress, the train was covered in dirt and even hair. They did not return my receipt, and I had to pick up my order from two different locations because they couldn't manage to send everything to one place. I also want to point out the unprofessionalism: my white dress was handled with bare hands and very long nails, about 4 cm in length. This is completely unacceptable for a business that works with white and delicate fabrics. The staff was rude, irresponsible, and incompetent. Measurements were taken incorrectly. I would not pay even one dollar for such disgraceful work. This was the worst experience of my life, right before my wedding. I strongly recommend never trusting this cleaners with your clothes. I also wrote a review on google this is just a repost for visibility! I had an extremely disappointing experience at this tailoring and cleaner service today - 8/13 around 1 pm. The staff member was visibly annoyed from the moment we asked about tailoring, treating us as if we were an inconvenience. Their responses were vague, unhelpful, and lacked any clarity, making it impossible to get concrete answers as if any request that we made would be disregarded and the tailor would do whatever they felt like doing to my clothes. The dismissive attitude was so apparent that we had to leave. I cannot recommend this business due to the poor customer service. I don't like to blame everything on race but I have a strong feeling that if I was not a black man this would not have happened. The worst service, I went in for alterations on some jeans. Just take in the waist a little and hem the bottoms. First it was way over priced. Second they did a poor job on the waist so I took my jeans back to have them fix it. Long story short after going back for over a month to see if my pants were finally finished I find two holes on the sides of the belt loop. I dropped 3 cashmere sweaters off to be dry cleaned. When I picked them up there were shiny with lines on them like they were pressed and the softness was gone. They looked like cotton sweaters, thin and shiny. When I told the lady what's going on she ran her hand through them and told me nothing is wrong. I told her that's not ok and that they ruined my sweaters and she just gave me attitude. When I asked for the manager a guy with a pony tail came and said that they are perfectly fine and that I'm being rude therefore never will be serviced at any of their many locations. He said the owner is in Vegas about to purchase cleaning stores at more locations, gave me disgusted a refund for the dry cleaning fee and made me feel like I'm in the wrong. I used this location for dry cleaning service on a weekly basis and lately I've notice I am missing clothes. Wrinkles on the majority of them. Quality has decay in the last few months. Cost is high and doesn't reflect Quality of work. Thinking of trying a different location, but if it is owned by same owner, service will probably be the same. The way this business operates is not very professional. Not only are their prices elevated, the service needs improvement. I've had more than a few bad experiences but I still kept going to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, this time was enough...Dropped off clothes to have it same day and was even paying the extra fee and the employees failed to communicate with me. I went back the following day to pick up ( of course not paying the extra fee anymore) and the clothes was NEVER put in for cleaning. I took my dry cleaning their today and also wanted to remove a spot on a shirt so I showed him the shirt and he said I will do it and did not give me cost gave me the receipt he was charging $14.00 to remove spot . I've been using this place on and off for many years. Dry cleaning is good but expensive. I've also taken in clothes for alterations for years with mostly good results. So why the 1 star review? I had a jacket whose zipper was broken and the jacket was a gift and still usable so I thought I'd get the zipper replaced. Took it and it and for 35.00 I'd get the zipper replaced and the jacket cleaned. I picked up and paid for the jacket but when I got it home, the jacket had NOT been repaired or replaced! Took the jacket back and asked why the repair was not made. I got a song and dance and they acted shocked the repair was not done. Owner said he'd talk to the seamstress and get it fixed. Picked up the jacket again and still NOT REPLACED! I gave them one more chance with the promise it would be fixed! I shouldn't have been surprised to find out the zipper still handn't been replaced! I was finally told they couldn't replace the zipper because of the material. Makes no sense because the jacket had a zipper! They lied and try to say the zipper was fixed but the old zipper was missing teeth so I new it wasn't replaced. In this day and age with social media and reviews it's not right to lie and deceive customers. They did give me my money back for the zipper and the jacket was tossed in the garbage. I just wish they were honest in the first place and it makes me think what else do they lie about. Justin, The zipper didn't work and initially I was not told about the zipper and I was told it had been replaced and I was charged. Yes, ultimately I did get a partial refund but the jacket had to be thrown away. Being told the zipper could not be replaced makes absolutely no sense when the jacket had a zipper is just not true. I did not agree in any way shape or form, in fact I'd been lied to three times. Very, very poor customer service. Westside cleaners is the closest to my new home, so I took in a blazer and a peacoat. Over the phone, I was told this would run me $12, which seemed reasonable. When I came to pick up the items it was $18., which didn't make me happy, but wasn't worth a fight. Upon inspecting the items when I got home, I discovered that the blazer had been slightly damaged (a metal tag with the designer's name, that had been attached to the back of the jacket was now dangling by a thread) and the peacoat was still covered with dog & cat hair (which is why I took it to be cleaned) and had all sorts of threads dangling from buttons and seams. Not Happy!!! If I'm going to spend this much to dry-clean, I expect MUCH better service than this. I would complain to Westside Cleaners, but I have a feeling I already know what their response would be. Easier to just move on! read more

Been using this place for a few years, never got great service and the price always seems to be going up. But after today I'll find another place. My wife left my suits in the morning and I picked them up that night. The lady told me she left a message for my wife that one of my suits she left didn't have pants. I thought that was weird and went home. My wife insisted that she did leave the pants and went the next morning. The husband of the lady was there and proceeded to argue with my wife. He was rude and said he'll have his wife call my wife later. Two hours later they call and what do you know they found my pants, she dropped them on the floor. I picked them up and they said no charge, even though after reviewing my receipt they had charged me. No real apology or attempt to keep us as a customer. I have gone to westside cleaners for the last time. I have been going there for several years to drop off my sons military uniform. I pay $6 per uniform (a shift and a pair of pants). I get a different price almost every time I go in there, usually around $16-$18 for the same 2 uniforms. This time for the one uniform it was $9.20. I consistantly ask for the discount and she says in her broken koren $8. I tell her that less than 14 days ago I paid $6 and the month before that and the month before that $6... of coarse I had to ask for it each and every time. I told her that I would take my business elsewhere as she almost shoves my son's clothes off her table. She needs help. Also, 2 months ago I dropped off the uniforms and they were not ready. She charged me full price. I said to her when they are ready as promised I will pay full price. Unfortunately, I don't remember the inflated price she gave me. But we are for sure done with this mess of a cleaners. WAY TO EXPENSIVE!! I don't ever expect to pay for a meal when I go to get my boys uniforms laundered. EVER! read more
