The work done on my car was OK and the service writer Mike Perreault did a solid job. The problem is the mismanagement by the service department as a whole. You should not need a Truck for TWO WEEKS to complete 2-3 hours of work. When I get it back it should not be covered in bird droppings and spider webs. It took an entire week after I dropped off my daily driver to your department before a tech even looked at it to confirm my diagnosis that it needed to have the oil pan gasket replaced. Then it took another week to get it done. Why not let customers keep their cars until you are REALLY READY to diagnose and repair their vehicles??? Why not run vehicles you service through your wash like dealerships used to? read more

Service Department check in is absolutely atrocious, we had a 2:30 appointment for our vehicle to get an oil change. They offer a $78.00 that includes oil change, check all the fluids, rotate the tires ect. After I complained about having to wait for a service representative to assist me a lady came up and tried to explain to me that like the rest of America they are understaffed. Sanderson Ford Service department was helpful and friendly. I have used their service department twice. Once, by the recommendation from Lee's Auto Specialist to fix recalls. They did a good job taking care of the repair. The second was when we were robbed and had to have our car rekeyed. Even though it was expensive. I lament the cost of fobs and electronic car key combinations. They took a little longer to get everything done, but Mike Perreault took care of my and had one back in my Ford Focus with a new key combination. read more

If you follow any of my reviews I recently took my 2023 Explorer to a scheduled appointment to find a rattling I was hearing in my front end. I show up and was told that it would be 5 days before a front end alignment service tech would be available to look at my car. If I didn't leave the Explorer I would lose my place in line. WTF... I didn't leave my car, I just left mad. I made an appointment with Sanderson Ford for a couple of days later. I arrived Nick the service advisor was so nice and knowledgeable. He promised that a tech would see the car today and that he would call me later to let me know what they find. My car was due for an oil change and I also need my front hood aligned just a bit. He said they would take care of it. Within a couple of hours Nick called said that my front passenger shock/strut was bad and that was what was rattling (I think it must had broke when I had a blowout, it was a pretty good blowout). The part was not in but would be the next morning. The next morning Stacy who also dropped me off at home came by my home and picked me up. Stacy was so nice and just joy to speak with. Took my Bronco sport for a recall. Called my service advisor " to tell you the truth we broke your windshield" After fighting for three months to put it cal the way it was. (Tint strip). I go in they put one on that is only like 4" does no good and I specifically said. DO NOT PUT IT ON IF IT ISNT WHAT I WANT! This dealership came up as an ad and I called them to make a Maverick Truck reservation just in case their ads were accurate. Melissa Ponce who helped made a great first impression and treated me with amazing customer service. She communicated daily and within 1 hour of texts or emails. She was very polite and professional and knew what she was talking about regarding models, delays and additions to avoid to not delay the order. So my husband took our GT 350 to have the oil pump replaced on 7/12/23. Since we had the pump replaced my husband has had to return back to the dealer 3 times due to a continuous oil leak. Well it turns out that the oil pan was damaged during the oil pump change. Well Sanderson service department has reported to us that the oil pan was defective and this is the reason there is a leak now. We are not quite sure how it was defective. It has been just fine until the car was worked on by their service dept. It has been 2 days shy of a month that we dropped off the car for the third time. So the service dept has contacted our extended warranty company to cover the replacement of the pan. We have already paid 2000 out of pocket for the service rendered. Plus the warranty company paid 3000 plus. So it seems they are trying really hard to sweep this under the rug and get someone else to pay for this issue . Mind you the warranty company has told us they will not cover the pan replacement. So our only option is to put the old pan back on and take the car home as is. Stay clear away from this dealers service dept. Get you vehicle serviced elsewhere. read more

I am very disappointed in Sanderson Ford Service! My truck had appointment scheduled a month before . The only person to work on Diesel engines was of course not working the day they scheduled me Diesel Truck. On top of that after the oil change my engine light came on. They are now telling me it was recall work that made that happen. Every time I get in my truck it says 911 assist is not operational please go to dealer. But dealer ship will not just turn it off!! I bought a 2021 Mustang EV and received it in February of 2021 and love the car but the service or trying to get service or a call back from Sanderson is absolutely HORRIBLE. 1.I took the car in for a routine software update in September of 2021 and I told them about a few defective parts that needed to be replaced or repaired and they ordered replacement parts and told me they would let me know when they were in. Now 5 months later and several unreturned calls I still have no idea of the status of my warrantied replacement parts. 2. The charging cable failed in November and I called in on a Saturday to see about getting a replacement charger, which is vital in an EV in order to charge. After several calls to try to get through to either service or parts I ended up getting transferred to what I thought was the parts department which was actually a crossed line and when they transferred my call I was speaking with another customer who called in also seeking a replacement part. I gave up on them helping me and drove over to Camelback Ford and they immediately helped me order a warrantied replacement for my charger and I had it in a few days. 3. I received a recall notice in September from Ford for the front windshield and glass roof to be resealed and have called Sanderson Ford at least 10 times to try and Schedule the warranty repairs. Initially they told me they weren't yet set up to reseal the glass and would be in a few weeks. After repeated calls seeking an appointment for the recall (and hoping to get my long long overdue parts) I get various receptionists in the service department to take my message and promise a call back, which has NOT HAPPENED. I have lost my patience waiting for the recall repairs and replacement parts. Based on my experiences with service for relatively EASY service needs I WOULD NOT recommend Sanderson Ford! After posting my previous review, I contacted Stephanie Finley, Sanderson's Customer Relations Manager. She then put me in touch with Tom Collins, the General Sales Manager. Between the two of them, they were able to facilitate a deal for me on the vehicle I wanted. These two were very helpful and seemed legitimately concerned over my issues. I'm confident that nothing was said to or done about John Pratt and his horrible customer skills, but I got the vehicle I wanted at a fair price. And while I am very pleased with the vehicle, I'm not sure I can return to Sanderson Ford. Just knowing that they allow people like Mr. Pratt to deal with customers is too disappointing to me for them to receive my future business. It's a shame as I've always enjoyed purchasing there. I was not happy when show up to purchase a truck that you saw online and there was zero disclosure about the front fender damage. Also sales person stated that the hole in the ford badge was a way to take off the badge (lie), bed of camera is not equipped for this model, later to find out (lie), glove box broken, later found out (lie). No keys for tie downs in bed , later to find out lie (keys found). Also roof trim broken. Red flag Truck sat on lot for two months. But we went ahead and bought it, thinking or assuming Sanderson Ford will make it right, week later get a call to bring truck in on Monday to fix a few things on it. During that week I called Sanderson ford speciality department for a bed cover. Called 4 times in a week, last day of the week a service guy named Jose called and said I saw you 4 calls and messages, but I have no time to call you back, I was not a priority. Also during the same week the sales person called me and said Sanderson ford will not fix the fender and that they gave me a discount cause of that, looked on contract and sales (lie). So it's not getting fixed. Lastly, I took truck in on 5/6/2024 to get fixed, received a text next day mid afternoon stating that the wipers were ok, cameras fixed, badges replaced, roof trim replaced, glove box parts were installed backwards so now fixed. Went to pick up truck on 5/7/2024 at mid afternoon, did my own check of all repairs, and the cameras did not work at all, however they did work except cargo prior to bringing it in, now nothing. Also trim around window was all dis engaged, box with old badge and minor trash left in back floor seat and rear seats were folded down. The truck did not come back to me the way I left it. Service rep said I can wait or go home they will contact me when truck is fixed. We decided to go home, cause I was mad and we had no eta when ready. I decided to stop at the sales floor to chat with my salesman and asked if he knew what we have been going thru. He just looked at my wife and I and kept stated "it was just bad timing for you". I lost it and walked away. Here it is 5/8/2024 I had to text Sanderson ford to get an update, all they said was truck is done, it will be delivered between 1-5 and that they had to replace the Video Modules. Not one other word said or text. With me and my wife experience, I will never ever go back and I will not recommend to anyone that asks me for a place to go buy a truck or vehicle. Sanderson Ford Review Worst experience ever. This dealership will use shady and misleading sales tactics, lie, not disclose things like having a PLUG, not patch, in one (that we know of) "brand new tires" costing us $400 to replace. They had my wife drive to another dealership to get quotes on parts where they had their "friend" Carla at VW record her on their personal cellphone. Yelled at her while shoving a car part within inches of her face after she sat there for 6 hours (for a quoted 2 hour job) only to be told half the things that were supposed to be done couldn't be done and she'd have to come back for a third time. They said they'd give us new fobs but only put new batteries in, damaged our car while fixing one part and only once the newly damaged part was later fixed (at our home because we refused to go back to a place where the salesman Tony, negotiator Guermo, sales manager Jason and general sales manager Mr. Witthar treat people horribly, disrespectfully and don't return calls on important matters) did we discover that the rear passenger door was completely misaligned. The car supposedly had one owner and no accidents and the door that's now misaligned is the one that they damaged the lower panel on while fixing the panel on the other side, so we can only assume that was how it came to be the way it is. The general sales manager Mr. Witthar was extremely unprofessional and rude in emails to my wife where he wrote something along the lines of "after these parts are fixed, we will be done with you" (referring to the parts that were promised to be fixed during negotiations and the new damage their shop caused). So we are left with a car that we keep discovering new problems with or all around completely missing pieces, the cost of a new tire and now finding a way and paying to realign a door we believe they broke. Seems like they will say anything to make a sale and if you try and claim what was promised during negotiations you will be met back with avoidance, aggression and possible retaliation. We regret ever stepping foot on that lot and hope no one is ever treated as horribly and disrespectfully as they did my wife and I. We even fear using our warranty we spent a few thousand dollars on incase they force us to come back to their shop and cause more damage. read more

The employees at Sanderson were always professional. I was able to obtain a better understanding of the process and they went above and beyond when they didn't need to. I am very thankful and appreciative of their help and them taking the time to listen to my concerns and doing everything in their power to make sure I'm leaving happy with my vehicle. I find it very counterintuitive to call, make a service appointment for a certain time and day. Drop the vehicle off just to be told it won't be looked at until the next week. I completely understand it may get busy or not enough technicians. But customers should be notified before hand. Customers have life's and responsibilities as well. Seems like at that point I might as well just drop the vehicle off without the appointment and I'd get the same result. I find it unfair to waste my time.
