We were told it would be ready in 30 minutes but when we got there after 30 minutes, we ended up having to wait an additional 25 minutes for our order to be ready. The restaurant is small but very homey making it a great place for a casual meal. We got a variety of food off the menu from a Greek salad, fried seafood basket, hamburger, to a chicken sandwich. This restaurant has a great location, right across the dunes from the beach. Unfortunately, this comes with $4 parking before 6pm. You might find a spot along the streets if you don't mind a long walk. The food is what was most disappointing, less like cooking than heating and assembling. The fish was like what you might find in the frozen foods section at Costco. The fries were the bagged crinkle cut variety they used to serve in the school cafeteria. The pizza was thin and unimpressive. Service was slow, but nice. They had enough staff on hand. Prices were high for what they were offering (location, location, etc.) They'd be better served with a more limited menu, like a burger bar or taco stand, and investing in making those menu items something worth coming back to. read more

This is a great casual friendly place! The menus offers a variety of baked and deep fried options. Friendly servers make you feel at home. It's a great coastal atmosphere. The food and drinks are fantastic And reasonably priced. The food looked so great, I dug into my entree before I remembered to take a pic. Reasonable portions and prices. Great food and service, but it was hot inside and there were flies everywhere. I got the fried seafood sampler, which included shrimp, clams, fish, and crab cake, served with potatoes and squash. The squash was surprisingly a standout. Absolutely fabulous. The shrimp, clams, and fish were all perfect. The crab cake was not good. Overcooked, and had only finely shredded crabmeat and too much filler. Overall, I was happy with the food. 4/5. Our waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly. 5/5. The inside of the restaurant was hot. Their AC just couldn't keep up, and we were sweating profusely the entire time. Tables were close together and crowded. Decor was nice. There were also a LOT of flies inside the restaurant. I spent the entire time swatting them off of me. 2/5 for ambiance / atmosphere. Overall, it was a good meal with good service. It really was the lack of service for me. This restaurant is really in a convenient location to the beach. However, I waited for about 10 plus minutes in the bar area and wasn't addressed. I had to stop the busboy to ask for a menu and seat myself on the other side, I then ordered the pizzas with the one who seated me. About 5 minutes later the waitress came by and asked what I wanted, I told her that I had already ordered with the young man and she stated well he can't take orders... I was really uncomfortable but hunger won out and I waited patiently for my 2 slices of cheese pizza. Overall the pizza was just what I needed and for $4 for 2 slices you can't beat that. We got these chicken tenders and they were great expcept this ridiculous white dill sauce to dip it in. Dill sauce and chicken tenders do not belong in the same category. Where is your fabulous version of a honey mustard? That is what I always see with chicken tenders. I honestly have probably walked past this spot 200x and always assumed it was just a deck associated with the nearby Sandbridge Market and didn't realize it was a stand-alone restaurant and bar. My husband and his parents have come to Sandbridge a bunch of times since he's moved in with me and they have been here probably 5x now and raved about it. So I came with them last weekend after a day at the beach. I loved it! It's much larger than expected with a big bar area and some merch for sale (t shirts and sweaters) and two small arcade games. Then, there is a larger seating area with a fireplace and open window to the kitchen where the food comes out. They have a small patio facing Sandbridge just steps away to the dunes. Beautiful view and live music some nights and weekends with sunshades. We sat inside bc it was raining a bit and our server was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly and super fast with every request. We all split several things and tried a few slices of pizza, a quesadilla, a burger, steamed shrimp and a spinach salad. Everything was out quickly and everything was quick and delicious. Steamed shrimp were phenomenal. We order those everywhere we go and these were amazing. My mother-in-law is a tough customer on restaurants and she loves it. She's had the veggie burger and a sandwich or two and likes those as well. The pizza was really really good. Served by the slice as well so that's perfect if you want something quick to take to the beach or have before you head home. Highly recommend. I can see this will be a spot we come often! read more

This was a cool little store. We heard their donuts were amazing so we made the trek out here to get some. It was crappy weather outside so we lucked out with there being any donuts left when we got there. The donuts are bigger than the average bear. We got a box, but there's no way you can fit 12 in there. We managed to fit 10 of them, but definitely had to squish them in there. They were good. I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had. I wouldn't make a special trip down here to get them either, but if I'm in the area and craving a donut I might swing by. We looked around the store to see what else they had and they have a little bit of everything. They had cake mixes, sandwiches, fancy cheeses, snack foods, drinks, etc. It's like a mini grocery store. I could def see where this would be helpful all the way out here in sandbridge. I'd def come back for some beach snacks. I saw some dill pickle ranch chips that caught my eye too. Cute store and the lady working was super friendly. read more

Great spot! Closed on Tuesdays! Great selection of fried/ fresh fish. Highly recommend the soft shell crab sandwich, cooked perfect! Also had crab cake sandwich one night as well and that one is more breaded heavy instead of meat but still delicious! The sandwiches don't come with a lot of sauce/ some don't come with any ( unless they forgot them ) so make sure to ask for sauce with the sandwiches! The wait staff is excellent. The beer very cold. We had calamari it was ok. The crab cake sandwiches are all filler I found about two pieces of crab. Do not get it blackened, usually that is a little spice but they seemed to burned the outside black and it had a lighter fluid taste. read more

After a lifetime of living in Sandbridge every summer, this has now become my #1 favorite place to eat! They really stepped up their food game. I've tried just about everything on the menu and have loved my meals every. Single. Time! The food comes out at warp speed, which really helps when you're dining with toddlers, and the servers have always been the sweetest. My favorite dishes are the crab dip, the oysters Rockefeller (they don't use fake bacon!!), clams casino, ahi tuna bites, blackened chicken sandwich, Nashville style chicken sandwich, and the seafood pizza. Margaritas always taste good, fresh and not too syrupy. The price is amazing for how good the food is. I no longer even bother with Baja who have become too pretentious and not good enough quality food for the price. I have been to this place several times over the years, as I've lived locally for over a decade. I have always enjoyed it, and would have recommended it. However, after my experience tonight, I won't be back. I recommended the blackened crab cake sandwich to a visiting friend, who didn't like it, so we all tried it, and agreed that it tasted bad- off like it had freezer burn. We told the waitress, Johana that it wasn't good, and she tried to argue with us and convince us that we just didn't know what good crab was supposed to taste like. We didn't even argue when she left it on the check along with the meal she ordered to replace it. However, she brought it up again, and said that my friend must not know how good crab should taste, since she was from a different part of the country. read more

Where to begin on this place. I called to place an order for a pizza pickup on a Saturday night and was told the wait was about 40-45 minutes which wasn't too bad. I wanted to pay cash but was forced to pay card. We arrived on time and stood outside at the pickup window. After standing there for about 5 minutes we were told to come inside as there was a line for placing to go orders and doing pickups. After going inside a pizza was sitting in the counter to go to a table. The server went to pick it up and it slid off of the tray and into a rack of dirty dishes. She then tried to re serve the pizza that she dropped! Another waitress said you can't do that, there are people watching. Absolutely unbelievable that they even thought to do this and the only reason they didn't was because I was a witness. After about a 15 minute wait I was able to pick up my pizza. The taste was not that great. All of the pies were very thin, but very floppy in the middle and almost burnt on the edges. The sauce has mediocre and the toppings left a lot to be desired. If you are desperate for a meal right off the beach then you can roll the dice on this place. For better quality and overall experience, I would look elsewhere. read more

Ok, came here with my friends after a day at the beach and it wasn't busy at around 4pm. We were seated immediately. Let's start with the Mix: The food pricing is a mix of kinda expensive with a few food items and reasonably priced for others. Sweet potato fries were expensive. Wings were a good value for the price, same with the pizza slices. The Good: The pizza slices are large and also are loaded with toppings. There is a good variety of American faire. The Bad: Some items are just expensive. Our server was decent, but seemed distracted and even slipped up with water delivery. Probably the one reason why I rated this a 3 instead of a 4 was due to the server. She spilled our water at the start. After ordering our food and still midway through the meal, she asks us if we want any boxes and if she can bring the check out. Who asks to bring out the check obviously midway through our meal? At that point it seemed as if she was rushing to get us out so she could serve another customer. When we asked for a box so we could pack a few of our food, she forgot. When finally asking for the check and boxes, she forgot the boxes again and just gave us the check. After requesting a third time for boxes, she runs our card, is on the way to give us the receipts, forgets the boxes again and then goes back to get boxes on remembering it. The distracted nature of our server really left us feeling as if we were just patrons on the side of the street, not really feeling any attention. This could have been a 4 star establishment, but the server really brought it down for us to a 3. I don't think we'll come back again. read more

This restaurant was a little out of the way from where we were staying at Virginia Beach (40 minutes or so). However, it was well worth the commute! I ordered the sweet potato fries as well as the shrimp salad sandwich. The food was amazing and service was friendly. The restaurant got pretty busy later in the evening. Maybe that's because there was KARAOKE. It was a little lame, but still fun when people were participating. The only criticism I have is that they cannot split the check. The poor waitress was willing to split the cost among different cards, but that was a hassle calculating everyone's cost of meal weighted with the appropriate gratuity and tax.
