It was horrible. I ordered the tacos. I chose "fresh caught fish of the day," shrimp, and pork. The "fresh fish" tasted like they used canned tuna. The slaw they used just tasted off. The shrimp taco had grey shrimp that disintegrated when you touched it. When I was eating the tacos it reminded me of a time when I had vomited and tasted like stomach acid. So it tasted like vomit. I didn't eat the shrimp taco because I was legitimately afraid I would become violently ill if I ate that shrimp. I did develop some stomach issues after eating there and I rarely have issues with my stomach. The only thing that I liked was the cocktail they made. Anyhow, just stay away from this place. The food was good. The service, not so good. My best friend and I went for dinner and she asked for another drink, the waitress said that she would let our waiter know. The oven wasn't working and they didn't tell us that until we tried to order a flatbread. We also had to wait to get our change back ( we were given the wrong amount) due to the fact that the supervisor had to come make the change. A great location right on the beach, and located in the basement of the Holiday Inn. We were able to sit outside by the beach and enjoy the great weather. Our server was friendly- but the service was brutally slow and they were out of several items. No idea what was going on that day. But the food we did get was decent. I had the bao buns, which were really Asian style tacos (even served on a taco stand). But the flavor was there, and it was a good bite overall. They have a decent kids menu too, with pizza, sliders and mac and cheese. Its a pretty good place to stop by the beach for a lunch, just wish the service had been faster. read more

First of all my husband and I wanted to sit by the beach and this restaurant happened to be near by on our walk. We wait to be seated and already one of the servers is having an attitude with another server and is coming off unwilling to seat us. She seats us anyways with an annoyance as if we were disturbing her obviously not busy restaurant. We ask her if we could sit at the tables by the water and immediately argues with us and says no and gives us some lame excuse to why we can't sit by the water. End up getting served by another more polite server. The food was questionable, the prices is nice and inexpensive but like they say you get what you paid for. It's very obvious that some of the food is microwave but that's just my opinion. The quality was just not their for the food. Got poolside service while on a vacation this week and the food was pretty dang good! Burgers, chicken tenders and fries for the win! 4 stars because I don't recommend the mixed drinks. Expensive and have no alcohol..paid $11 for one drink and it was all juice with about half a shot of Malibu. The other was a $10 pina colada that they already have mixed but they have to add a shot of alcohol leaving it with a water like consistency. Stick to burgers and draft beer! read more

Mediocre at best. Food was underwhelming- ordered peel and eat shrimp and old bay chips. The shrimp were over cooked, under seasoned, and oddly for peel and eat shrimp- already peeled. The chips were under cooked- not very crunchy and just not good. The view of the beach was great. The service was atrocious. Our waitress did not know what was on tap nor the beers they had in cans/bottles. When asked by one of the folks I was eating with if they had any cider, her response of "What's cider?" became a running joke for the evening. It also took well over half an hour to get our check when we were done. If this wasn't a hotel bar/restaurant, it wouldn't survive. read more

Pretty odd experience. We showed up and they were packed due to it storming outside and the outside dining area flooding. We got put in a wait list. We showed back up but a different hostess didn't look at the wait list, so we got stuck behind a different family. One of our food items was missing chicken, which we requested to be added. They brought out all 3 adult meals before my 3 year olds, so let's just say thank god she was preoccupied with a cell phone and didn't notice. The acoustics were weird and it was so loud that the waitress had to lean in and talk loudly to communicate. The menu is pretty basic. However, they were super accommodating and even brought in extra tables to seat more people. (I was a little confused as to why they didn't just leave the tables out all the time though.) and the kid pizza was adorable and actually child sized, which can be hard to find. read more

I would def recommend this place to eat/drink. The food here is fantastic, everything I ordered here was delicious. I had the whale nachos, it was so good I ordered them two days in a row. My sister had the cheeseburger and fries very good. We shared mozzarella sticks and also had a salad and they were very good as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is very nice. This restaurant is pretty good for a hotel ... oceanfront and next to the pool. We had the Philly Steak sub for lunch and it was delicious. They have pizza, wings, sandwiches, etc so there's something on the menu for just about everyone. They have Hershey's Ice Cream, but only four basic flavors (probably a good thing for my waistline). The bar has mixed drinks (and probably beer), but my drink of choice is a good Pina Colada and their's was delicious. I gave it only four stars because the restaurant is a little pricy, but then again, isn't everything in a beach city. We would eat there again. The only thing that even looked good to eat with our expensive drinks were the chicken wings. Other than that the menu is very limited and uninteresting. The appeal to this place is the convenience when you are staying at the hotel. Our waiter was excellent. Our food was good. Shrimp tacos were good. Grouper sandwich, burgers all yummy. We stayed at the holiday inn and I must say o was a bit reluctant to eat here after reading the reviews. Due to the convenience and our kids getting to eat free we tried it out. Over the week we are here a lot and it was always good! My only complaint would be that one night they really salted and peppered the kids fries way to much that they were not editable. We tried the steak and cheese, habanero grilled chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, crab cake sandwich, fish and chips as well as the shrimp street tacos {must enjoy spicy food for the shrimp street tacos} and everything was amazing! read more

Fun place in the Holiday Inn. If you are up at the north end of the boardwalk stop in. Lots of tropical drinks and cool bartenders. Not bad for a holiday inn. Food is good too! On July 25th I ordered 3 pizzas. At the time of pickup, the supervisor tells me that her employee had written the order but had not placed it in the system, so the order was never completed. There was zero remorse about the mishap. On July 26th , we gave the restaurant a second chance and this time they delivered the pizza with an overflow of tomato sauce and undercooked pizza.
