I came here for my birthday and had the best time! I'm forever young so I jump at the chance to do any kind of fun, active outing. Plus, I'm a huge fan of Squid Games. Choosing this game was a no brainer. We can't wait to come back and shoot zombies! I've done vr before but this is especially awesome because you get the side by side video to relive the adventure! i only wish they recorded the entire session. But, even the snippets are still really cool. i highly recommend Sandbox VR over any other VR out there.

Best out of the 4 of the group! Get the Crossbow!

Went with a group of 4 of us and had a great time! The checkin process was straight forward and easy. We ended up choosing the New Zombie map and was honestly a fun one! Lots of pop-up scared and pretty tricky if you don't have teamwork! Ended up winning the game and felt a bit too short with 4 people - was about 20 minutes and should be more difficult with more people or something. Regardless - was a good time and staff was super sweet!

GAME ON!!!

We went today for my son's lincoln 15th birthday. Spencer A and Hector where there to greet us and get the boys ready to fight some zombies. They were really nice and helpful in explaining all the info for them. I would recommend this place and I love that they give us a video of there experience at the end.

VR live experience.

Ok, I have to say, our first experience with this place wasn't super rad, BUT VINCENT - omg this manager brought it HOME!!! The kids and my hubs had a GREAT - LIKE MEGA GREAT experience playing Davey Jones Locker and Dragon Slayer, so I definitely recommend! (Also has "fancy water" in aluminum cups - ICE COLD!!!) Originally we bought 4 $50 sets as a "Santa Gift" over the Christmas holiday (my younger kiddo wanted a VR set and I didn't want to encourage anymore solo gaming/cave time). So we bought him and his brother gift cards when we were attracted to the PROMO - which essentially leveled up the gaming experience by almost 50%. But we weren't able to reserve online. In person we were originally told to wait 4 hours. And our promos were suddenly not valid. This wasn't Vincent's doing, I think it was corporate and I hope corporate revises. Vincent was awesome. The experience was AWESOME!!!! The venue is awesome, clean, super friendly staff. Amazing!

Is it safe/do you have equipment for 6 year olds?

Thank you very much for your inquiry. All of the equipment is safe, but is a little bit on the heavier side. It is suggested that the player be 7 years or older to comfortably play. However, there are always exceptions as children come in all shapes… Read more

Must be 48" or taller and be able to support the weight of 20lbs for up to an hour. This is the equipment you have to wear and carry in your hand. My 12 year old nephew is athletic build, he had a blast but definitely tiring!

How many people can you accommodate?

Thank you very much for your question! The experiences have storylines that accommodate up to 6 players. We do larger parties and just split them among our other rooms. You can either book the rooms or call at (562) 888-8753 to hear about our party… Read more

How much is it per person?

It is $42 per player Monday-Thursday; $45 per player Friday-Sunday

It is about 10-15 minutes of signing in, listening to rules, getting all the gear on, then you get a 3-5 minute tutorial for whatever game you're playing, after that it is 25-30 minutes of gameplay. Afterward it takes 5-10 minutes to get out of the… Read more

It was not particularly outstanding archery lessons, but both a male and female instructor were friendly and engaging with the girls. At the end, they even allowed the parents a go at the target. I must say that while the duo tried their best at accommodating the students, their equipment was a bit lacking. The draw weight in the bow I used was next to nada. My try-everything-at-least-a-hundred-times husband agreed. We started out doing group activities that challenge team work, patience, active listening, communication, problem solving, and thinking about others. I loved the creativity and variety in the activities, it kept everyone actively engaged and nobody ever got bored. It might have been because we were all adults and they are used to a much younger clientele, but I hoped our group leaders would be a little more enthusiastic working with us since our group was a little low energy at some points. The second half of the day was more focused on personal goals and achievements, pushing your limits, and trusting in yourself and others. This one should be full of encouragement. Some of us were a lot more game for the ropes course than others but everyone did feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction at the end of the day. If you have never tried a ropes course/team building activities like the ones here at Camp Fire USA, I highly recommend it! It is a great experience and you'll make many fun memories!

Most of our team are engineers so we loved the puzzles and caught on quick. The gals who run the activity mentioned that they have other versions that are much more challenging, so we may be interested in the future. Overall, I'd recommend Downtown Detectives! My girls & her friends had a blast! We chose the easiest of the mysteries since it was their first time. But, it was still challenging. Definitely bring a water bottle, preferably w/ carrier so you're hands free & wear comfortable shoes. Nina & Jenna were so kind & accommodating, from begining to end. Planning on booking w/ some friends for my own birthday coming up!

The place has been around quite some time and kids do tend to make a mess, but they keep up after it. Parking is for a fee, but sometimes you get a game card that comes with the parking. It can get crowded in the summer and on weekends. We go on week days and have been several times. Now, the prices in here add up fast so be mindful of that, but it is the same as other similar places. Miniature golf is about 16$, a go kart is about 12$, the arcade can really add up so get a card that you can use for the wide variety of games they have. The bumper boats and Disk Thrill Ride are about 12$ per person. We love their little train and that is about 5$. You can get a two hour wrist band and we do that and save a lot that way.
